President Joe Biden faced a pivotal moment as he held his first press conference after his disastrous debate performance on Thursday. Biden spoke to reporters on the final day of a NATO summit the president was hosting in Washington as he faces mounting pressure to drop out of the 2024 race. The presser got off to a bad start when Biden didn't take the stage until a whole hour after it was scheduled. Democrats held their breath to see if Biden could successfully speak in front of cameras. Following the debate, the 81-year-old president claimed he was having a “bad night;”

I know he called Kamala "Vice President Trump." But I also heard him mumble in the 1st 1/3 of his presser that "that'll get me in trouble with my wife" ---but I can't find it anywhere. Did I mis-hear or did anyone else hear that?

"And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination," Biden said, before starting to leave the podium. After a long time I broke my own rule and watched him on Fox. Delivery was stiff but relatively trouble free A couple of minor gaffes (Vice President Trump, my Commander-in-Chief)) which were par for the course. Yes he did read a teleprompter and was given a list of reporters to call on. But all in all no disaster was my opinion.

#3- except that the bar for "success" shouldn't be reading answers from a teleprompter to pre-scripted questions with "only a few" gaffes.

3, this is the President of the United States and leader of the free world. The standard for such a role is not, "He read from his teleprompter ok and didn't completely and utterly fumble more than 6-7 times and do his weirdo whisper thing for than 5-6 times". He failed miserably to convince anyone who was concerned that he is up for the job right now much less in 4.5 more years of another term. It was painful.

California fast food franchise owners are being forced to cut their employees’ hours following Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) $20 minimum wage law, which went into effect in April. Lawrence Cheng, whose family owns several Wendy’s restaurants in southern California, has had to fill in behind the register to make up for the dramatic cuts, he told the Associated Press. While he used to have “nearly a dozen employees” working the afternoon shift at his Fountain Valley location, he is reportedly down to just seven per shift. “We kind of just cut where we can,” Cheng told the outlet. “I schedule one less person,

Former First Lady Melania Trump made what was reported to be her second solo appearance in support of husband Donald Trump’s presidential bid. Looking as elegant as ever, Melania hosted a fundraiser for the LGBTQ group known as the Log Cabin Republicans in the former president’s penthouse at Trump Tower. In covering the event, Page Six referred to Mrs. Trump as the “former — and possibly future — first lady,” while reporting that she “stunned all in attendance.” Citing “a spy,” the outlet said Melania was wearing a “fire engine red Valentino dress with appliqué flowers in the same fabric and Christian Louboutin pumps.” “Hors d’oeuvres and champagne flowed

Hurricane management allegedly prompted a partisan hoax readily batted down by Texan leaders: “Mr. President, as you like to say, ‘C’mon, man!'” No low was evidently too low for President Joe Biden and his allies as he suffered one of the worst political weeks of his decades-long career. In the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, which left nearly 2 million Texans without power amid dangerously high temperatures, the choice between leadership and scoring “political points” had the resident-in-chief evidently opting for the latter. Taking to X Wednesday morning, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) released a statement aimed at exposing a claim made by Biden in an interview with the Houston Chronicle.

With each passing day, you learn something new, something that just reinforces what so many in conservative media and beyond have said about Joe Biden's mental acuity for four years now but were told they were being rude, resorting to gutter politics, and Orange Man Bad so shut up. Over the last few days alone, we've learned some reporters have to use translation devices to be able to hear Biden when he starts mumbling. We've also found out that tensions between the Obama-Biden camps have only been made worse since the debate. And Clintonista/ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos, who interviewed Biden a week after the debate,

Joe Biden’s problems have just gotten a whole lot worse. It’s been clear for a while now that traditionally blue states have become competitive. Minnesota and Virginia, for example, have been close for a while, and some pollsters and pundits label them battleground states. New Hampshire appears to be competitive, as does New Mexico. Even those states don’t show how badly Biden’s position has become because Democrats are now worried that another blue state has become competitive — even though it shouldn’t be. That state is New York. “Elected officials, union leaders, and political consultants are panicking over polls

In the words of Barack Obama when speaking about Joe Biden, “Never underestimate his ability to f**k things up.” Joe did that on June 27 during his first debate with Donald Trump. The former president dog walked Biden by beating him handily among viewers and sparking a total panic within the Democratic Party. A vocal contingent wants Biden dumped but doesn’t know how to go about it. It’s not like this happens often in a tight presidential race, but Donald Trump could take a break. The media attention was laser-focused on Biden’s mental decline. This story was worth an aggressive reporting effort if the establishment press did its job

To avoid a bad news cycle, the Biden administration has allegedly created a human trafficking disaster. According to multiple whistleblowers, some 85,000 illegal immigrant children have been lost by the Department of Homeland Security after handing them over to largely unvetted "sponsors." Testifying before the Senate on Wednesday, one whistleblower even alleged retaliation from the Biden administration after she alerted superiors about children being placed with people who "clearly were not their relatives." She also observed signs of abuse. The Department of Human Services has lost at least 85,000 children who crossed the border illegally as “unaccompanied minors” after placing them with “sponsors”

oe Biden's first solo press conference with the White House press corps since last November, originally scheduled at 5:30 p.m. EDT, has been delayed one hour because the NATO meeting started late. But the signs are unmistakable. Unless Biden can shed 20 years and appear to be hale and hearty enough to stay up past 8:00 p.m., he's a goner no matter how badly he wants to stay in the race. The noise has been deafening all day. Donors, Democratic politicians, and ordinary people are all calling for Biden's exit from the race. To make matters worse, his inner circle of advisors has shrunk to just two of his closest aides:

The plan to kill Armin Papperger, a white-haired goliath who has led the German manufacturing charge in support of Kyiv, was the most mature. When the Americans learned of the effort, they informed Germany,
