Supreme Court’s Trump immunity ruling
is what the body was designed for —
unpopular but constitutionally correct

Within minutes of the Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity, liberal politicians and pundits seemed to move from hyperbole to hyperventilation. When not breathing into paper bags, critics predicted, again, the end of the republic. CNN’s Van Jones declared that it was “almost a license to thug, in a way.” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) declared: “My stomach turns with fear and anger that our democracy can be so endangered by an out-of-control court” and denounced six justices as “extreme and nakedly partisan hacks — politicians in robes.”

That impeachment was put in place by the Founding Fathers to protect the President against criminal charges from those he might offend while making arduous decisions in the course of his duties is something I learned in tenth-grade civics class.

There were times when I thought the Dem lawfare plan against Trump was going to succeed. After years of persecution by hand picked judges, along with millions of dollars in legal fees, Trump can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I now believe he will be the next President. That being said, Judge Merchan is still going to throw the book at him (and then be exposed as a political hack upon appeal).

Oh sure, it's "unpopular" with those on the left, who know that their actions have been outside the law. That fact terrifies them because when Trump is elected, they may be called to account.

Does the left realize the immunity applies to dim presidents too? Of course, it doesn’t apply to the president’s approval of lawfare activities.

Before Biden's lawfare attacked Trump, didn't all presidents have full immunity? So, now, even with providing presidents with less immunity, SCOTUS is wrong?

After Biden unbelievably blamed his make-up lady and over- preparation for his massive failure at the debate...she apparently got her revenge during Biden's SCOTUS immunity response speech. If you noticed during his four minute (questionless) response... he looked absolutely orange. (take that orange man #2)

It was always going to be so... You cannot sue judges over rulings you dislike. Separate but equal means presidents have to have immunity, or judges have to lose theirs. Which did you think they would choose?

The Supreme Court did its job. Previous courts have made similar rulings about many hot button issues from busing to abortion etc. If this ruling kills lawfare - hey, I'm good with it.

On June 21, the FBI declassified a 1999 video of Saudi intelligence agent Omar al-Bayoumi casing the Capitol and other Washington D.C. sites for the 9/11 attack. How, then, did the CIA-FBI 9/11 report conclude in 2005 that Saudi Arabia was not involved in the attack? And why did the FBI maintain — for 20 years, before its recent retraction — that al-Bayoumi wasn’t a Saudi agent? Such willful deception, practiced increasingly by American intelligence, is the subject of former CIA agent J. Michael Waller’s new book Big Intel: How the CIA and FBI Went from Cold War Heroes to Deep State Villains. The dramatic writing and detailing,

WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris is “the future of the Democratic Party,” the White House declared Wednesday as leading Democrats and their allies position themselves to replace President Biden as the party’s nominee if the 81-year-old president steps aside. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre pronounced Harris as Biden’s political heir, at one point referring to her as “president,” when asked about his 2020 campaign remark that he would be a “transitional” candidate. “One of the reasons why he picked the vice president, President [sic] Kamala Harris, is because she is indeed the future of the party,” Jean-Pierre said at her regular briefing.

The White House reiterated President Joe Biden‘s promise to be a “bridge” to a younger generation of Democratic Party leaders, including Vice President Kamala Harris. “One of the reasons why he picked the vice president, Kamala Harris, is because she is indeed the future of the party,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday.Harris is among the top contenders to replace Biden as the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee after his poor debate performance last week exacerbated concerns about his age and mental acuity, particularly because it would be easier to transfer some of the $240 million the party has in their campaign coffers to her in Biden’s absence.

Bush’s base in 1992, who lost that race. Host Kate Bolduan said, “So growing number of voters want President Biden to drop out of the race after his poor showing at last week’s debate. This is coming from new numbers out this morning in a CBS News poll. How does this all add to the overall picture of what Biden is up against at this moment and can he make it through?”

Still, what Bill O’Reilly told Glenn Beck does dovetail with other reports about the Biden family and close advisers discussing 2024 with the president in the aftermath of a brutal debate performance against Donald Trump. The former president drove over Biden with a tank in what was probably the easiest debate for Trump in his short, meteoric political career. On Monday, the Supreme Court released a benchmark decision on presidential immunity, and it has resulted in enough hot air being shed to melt the polar ice caps. Most of the hysterical claims made about this decision are about as fact-based as the phlogiston theory, and some of the most ridiculous claims are the assertions that presidents now have the power to order assassinations of their political opponents. This is, of course, poppycock, which hasn't prevented even a Supreme Court Justice from doubling down on stupid. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is continuing her quest to raise taxes. She is now trying to convince the moderate Democrats and those who are against tax hikes to pass the progressives' tax hikes. For years, we have heard Democrat politicians criticize corporations that employ millions of people for not paying higher taxes. That may sound like a great idea — if it were realistic. Corporations will never pay their "fair share" in taxes. If Congress ultimately decides to raise the corporate tax, that will be a tax on the consumers because those corporations will raise prices to cover their costs and offset what they would be paying in taxes.
