On Friday’s broadcast of “CNN NewsNight,” CNN Political Commentator and former Obama Adviser Van Jones said that Republican claims that Vice President Kamala Harris is really on the ballot are accurate and “it’s hard to imagine” the Joe Biden that “you saw yesterday” on the debate stage “making it four-and-a-half more years. And so, you do have to acknowledge, there is a high likelihood that a Joe Biden victory ultimately means Kamala Harris will be president.”
Host Abby Phillip said, “This has been something that they have described as a conservative talking point, a hitjob, that she’s really the one on the ballot. But it seems like, at this very moment,

Jones might be right. Replacing Joe will be like getting and training a new puppy, where priorities favor housebreaking, crate training and walking on a leash. Unlike other potential candidates with independent streaks, Kamala would fit right in.

You know this is what Kamala has been plotting all along. How about even if Biden survives to the convention, the Dems get smart and dump Kamala for some reasonably qualified and moderate Democratic replacement? Oh wait. There are none.

The issue, don't talk it up as the possibility and make her a sympathy vote, or someone to start rallying around.

Van Jones is correct. Joe Biden turns 82 this November. If he is re-elected, he will be 86 when he completes his second term. 86? What are the odds he won't last that long? It's age and deteriorating health versus the best healthcare in America. If he passes on, say hello to President Kamala Harris. What would her agenda be? More money for herself in return for legislation wanted by her handlers. Social 'justice' for blacks and probably reparations. More bankruptcy spending.
Do voters understand that a vote for Biden is a vote for someone that stands a good chance of dying in office?

If Harris succeeds Biden as President, Obama will still be in his 4th. term.
She will do the same things Biden did, say Yes Sir Mr. Obama Sir if that is what you want that is what you will get.

There may be a clever and as yet undiscussed solution for the Democrats. Let's call it Plan X. California
Const. Art. 5 provides that if the office of Lt. Governor is vacated, the governor may appoint his immediate successor to fill out his term, subject to later approval by the Legislature within 90 days. The current occupant of the office is former Ambassador to Hungary Eleni Kounalakis. Hmm. She sounds like someone who should be, say, Under Secretary of State or a member of the Cabinet. If Kounalakis were appointed by President Biden to another office, her current position in California (now having been vacated) would mean Gavin Newsom could appoint someone to be Lt. Governor and then resign as governor. The lucky new Lt. Governor would immediately become Governor. Now who might like to get a fresh start as the new Governor of California in the next few weeks? And who would like to be nominated for Veep? Sounds like a win, win, win for all concerned. Except, of course, the American people.

#11 is right that there are any number of ways that the Dems will shuffle the deck/clear the deck. To get Kamala out of the way without a huge fuss, they could could remove Joe with 25th Amendment and let Kamala become first woman president. That might be enough for her to agree to whoever they want. Of course, maybe the Dems really do want Kamala. They have been willing to tolerate a pre-cadaver.

Too funny what "former Obama Adviser Van Jones" said. Obama over paid him if that is considered good advice.

Even if Joe/Jill refuses to step down, there are a number of powerful Dems who know where the Biden bodies are buried. He will be made an offer he cannot refuse. Don't run again or go to jail, along with your son and your brothers.
