Legal Expert: Supreme Court Jan. 6 Ruling
Downgraded ‘Insurrection’ to Mere Trespassing

Original Article

Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley opined at the Hill saying that Friday’s Supreme Court decision holding that the most severe law cited in January 6 prosecutions does not apply to riots or protests effectively means that the oft-repeated accusations of “insurrection” have been downgraded to mere trespassing. As Breitbart News reported this past Friday, the Supreme Court decided in Fischer vs. U.S. that the “Department of Justice had taken too broad a view of [18 U.S.C.] 1512(c)(2), a law that prohibits destruction of evidence but was not intended for protests.”

So; Kapital Kops held the doors for them as they walked in and that’s trespassing? Naaah, Supremos. You can do better than that! Amy Barrette is a real disappointment.

Those people can not get that part of their lives back that was spent in the DC Gulag but the Biden Clown Show owes them and their shattered families a lot of money. Unfortunately that will not do anything for Ashli Babbitt. Where is that fat, amateur DEI cop that murdered her?

Yes, the Supreme Court ruled that the defendants were wrongly charged under the statute. However, will the DOJ and liberal DC Judges be willing to drop these charges or reduce prison sentences for those convicted? What about those who voluntarily plead guilty to the charge hoping to avoid a fight and get some leniency (but didn't)? Will they now need to fight to have their guilty plea removed and sentence reviewed? The DOJ and Judges will slow walk all of this the drag out the punishment given to the J6 political prisoners.

Each of those “trespassers” should be released immediately and given a check for $50 million. That’s one government program on which I would be happy for my tax dollars to be spent. Byrd, all of the thug judges and the abusive prison guards in DC need to be sent to the same jails and kept there for years with no legal rights accorded them. Payback should be a m*****f****r.

The people who belong in jail are Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer who sat idly by and allowed this indeed perpetrated it. These people are monsters. Lives destroyed by this insurrection Bull Feces. Immediate release. Sanctions on attornies and judges who charged them. Possible disbarment. Millions for wrongful arrest and detainment. Double indemnity for those that were murdered, like Babbitt (she was not the only one) or died in custody. Loss of qualified immunity for ALL involved in this travesty. If you do not punish those who abused their office, how do you expect to maintain discipline or integrity? In America, those in government are to SERVE the PEOPLE, not rule them. Those hired by the elected, even more so. You are to find ways to increase liberty, maintain peace and justice, and retire quietly, with honor. If you want your name in lights, buy stock in your power company and do it yourself!

There were mere trespassers, there were people let in with good reason to believe it was with the approval of those authorized to let them in, and there were vandals who broke windows and those who got physical with the police. I still want to see the proportion of those imprisoned; I strongly suspect the ones who engaged in vandalism and actual violence are severely underrepresented.

On 1/6, the Lady Chihuahua and I watched the media breathlessly report on the 'insurrection'. We looked at each other and said the exact same thing, 'What insurrection?'. There never was any insurrection. It was a protest with some violence. Our judges are finally catching up to that fact. Twenty-year prison sentences? Solitary confinement? Who is the real threat here?

Nancy Pelosi is the main villain in this entire miscarriage of justice. I want to see the J6ers released and restoration of everything they and their families lost during the last 3.5 years to immediately follow. Financial restoration should also come directly from Nancy Pelosi via the tremendous wealth she acquired via corrupt means.

The Biden administration had asked for one year of prison time, but U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger decided to impose no prison time or fine, sentencing Vaughn to three years of supervised release. Vaughn was convicted of violating the FACE Act and in participating in a conspiracy against rights. On MSNBC’s 11th Hour host Stephanie Ruhle and her co-panelists hit the panic button, claiming that the case allowed for a president like Trump to become a “king,” that there are “practically no limits whatsoever,” and tht Trump “can do whatever he wants.” These claims, not only completely false, exemplify the fear mongering which permeated the media’s agenda. Ruhle began the panel speaking to former Deputy Assistant Attorney General Harry Litman, regarding the decision. Former presidents are entitled to at least a presumption of immunity for their official acts, according to the high court. It doesn't come as a terrible shock, but a New York appeals court has disbarred Rudy Giuliani, former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, former mayor of New York City, and attorney for former President Donald Trump — "effective immediately."
