Walmart promoted its new Pride apparel on social media ahead of Pride month on Saturday, writing on Instagram, "Not just a slogan. #PrideAlways is a reminder to lead with love."
The company’s promotion comes just weeks after Target said its Pride collection would only be available in "select stores" following a major backlash by conservatives last year. [SNIP] Walmart’s new "Pride Always" collection promo includes products like a notebook that says "beyond gender" a tote bag that says "totes gay," a fanny pack with "I heart gay people" on it and rainbow-colored products like a pool floatie and an apron.

The BET is giving its viewers a wide range of political options — Democrats, Democrats, and more Democrats.
In an election year special titled “What’s At Stake” — scheduled to air June 4 at 10 p.m., on BET and BET Her, as well as VH1 — BET correspondent Ed Gordon will hold forth on the political choices black voters will have to make in November.
The special will feature a roundtable discussion with Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH), and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), all of whom are members of the Congressional Black Caucus. [SNIP] Gordon acknowledged the complete political imbalance of his roundtable — and blamed Republicans.

An Idaho bar has opted to counter LGBTQ Pride Month by celebrating 'Heterosexual Awesomeness Month' during the month of June, saying that without them 'none of us would be here.'
Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho, which is just outside of Boise, announced this past Wednesday that each Monday would be 'Hetero Male Monday.'
Any man dressed 'like a heterosexual male' will be entitled to a free draught beer, according to a Facebook post from the bar.
In a subsequent comment, the bar also said it was seeking applicants to judge if male patrons that come on Mondays have straight enough clothing.

At least one person is dead and 24 others are wounded in a mass shooting just after midnight Sunday at a large outdoor party at Kelly and 8th avenues in Akron.
A 27-year-old man died in the incident, according to a news release from the Akron Police Department. According to a spokesman from Summa Health, he was dead when he reached the hospital.
According to spokespeople from Cleveland Clinic Akron General and Akron City, one patient at each hospital was listed in critical condition.
Akron Police Capt. Michael Miller said he was not aware of any arrests in connection to the shooting, and preliminary investigations indicate this was a targeted incident.

In response to a Democrat prosecutor, a Democrat activist and a Democrat jury finding former President Trump guilty of a crime that doesn’t exist based on crimes that they couldn’t define (even right down to the jury finding), Joe Biden and the rest of the party has offered up two meaningless mantras.
“No one is above the law”
and
“We must respect the verdict.”
I already addressed the first mantra. No one is above the law except Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Eric Holder, Hunter Biden, Barney Frank, Al Gore, and every 2020 BLM rioter. Not to mention every 2023-2024 Hamas rioter and the 2017 inauguration Democrat rioters.

Long before Donald Trump's hush-money trial concluded, I predicted that his conviction was a forgone conclusion – despite the obvious weakness of the case against him.
Had the prosecution been brought in another part of the country, or even in another part of New York State, which was more fairly balanced with anti and pro-Trump voters, I am in little doubt that the outcome would have been different.
But instead, on Thursday, Trump became the first former president to be found guilty of a crime – convicted on all 34 flimsy counts of 'falsifying business records.'

China has spent years trying to strengthen its defences in a stretch of sea many experts have long dubbed the People's Republic "Achille's heel."
The Malacca Strait, which links the South China Sea to the Indian Ocean, is a pivotal passage for Chinese naval operations as well as its energy imports.
The 500-mile strait sits between the Indonesian island of Sumatra, Singapore and the Malay peninsula, and is only 1.7 miles wide at its narrowest point. [SNIP] But the crucial trade route could ultimately prove to be a huge setback for Beijing in the event of a regional crisis.

Conservative radio host and litigator Mark Levin said Wednesday that former President Donald Trump should immediately appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court if convicted by a Manhattan jury, due to serious constitutional issues. The jury began its deliberations Wednesday after Judge Juan Merchan issued his instructions — and, controversially, told the jurors that while they needed to be unanimous on guilt or innocence, they did not need to agree on what underlying federal crime must have been committed in order for a state felony charge of falsification of business records to be brought.

Hamas has been stealing for its own members at least half of the aid sent to Gaza since October 7. This is not surprising. Hamas has been stealing aid money meant for the people of Gaza ever since it took control of the Strip in 2007. Just three Hamas leaders, Khaled Meshaal, Mousa abu Marzouk, and Ismail Haniyeh, have among themselves managed to steal the colossal sum of $11 billion in aid. And while Hamas has been complaining about Israel preventing aid from reaching the Strip, it is actually Hamas that has been harming Gazans, by diverting half of the billion dollars sent by donors to Gaza since October 7.

Security services around Europe are on alert to a potential new weapon of Russia’s war – arson and sabotage – after a spate of mystery fires and attacks on infrastructure in the Baltics, Germany and the UK.
When a fire broke out in Ikea in Vilnius in Lithuania this month, few passed any remarks until the Polish prime minister, Donald Tusk, suggested it could have been the work of a foreign saboteur.
Investigators have already alleged potential Russian involvement in an arson attack in east London, an inferno that destroyed the largest shopping mall in Poland, a sabotage attempt in Bavaria in Germany and antisemitic graffiti in Paris.

Yet that same calling led her to become America’s first female prisoner of war in Vietnam. To this day, Vietti remains the only American woman POW whose fate remains unknown. Right before Election Day, Biden finally released the names of his ‘bundlers’: the big money fundraisers who backed his 2020 campaign. The David Horowitz Freedom Center’s investigative arm did some last minute sleuthing and found some interesting names on that list.
One of them was ‘Muhammad’ Tahir Javed: a Biden surrogate, Democratic National Committee deputy finance chair, and future Pakistani cabinet member.
Javed bragged that he had “raised over $2M for the Biden Harris transition team” and “recruited 30+ donors to the transition team and general campaign, four of whom were recognized along with myself… to have raised over $100,000 personally.”
