The Donald Trump New York City farce is on the way to being over. The prosecution (at least) rested after what would’ve been a disastrous performance by Michael Cohen in any other trial, but the standard rules don’t apply here because this is not actually a trial. This trial has nothing to do with law. It is a scummy attempt to frame a political opponent of the Democrats to keep him from winning an election against the desiccated old pervert in the White House. Normally, a jury would laugh this case out of court, except that it would never have been in court had the defendant been named Tronald Dump.

Wrong and those blinded by it always hate anyone and anything that stands for what is right.
They hated what America stood for, before Donald Trump stepped forward to defend her.

Captain Kangaroo- formerly known as judge- and his sidekick mr greenjeans - formerly known as prosecutor- have given the world great insight into the psychological conditions which enabled the nazi party to take over germany, a country which formerly had been quite civilized.

"The state must prove each of the elements of the charge beyond a reasonable doubt. Remember, in real trials, criminal charges have elements. For instance, fraud is typically a knowing misrepresentation intended to induce reliance that causes monetary damage to the victim. Each of those requirements is an element. Was there a misrepresentation? Was it knowingly false? Was it intended to induce reliance? Was someone who reasonably relied on it damaged in terms of losing money? Each of those elements must have substantial evidence in support of it. Remember, the state has to prove everything. "
BUT...NOT in this case.
The Judge already, in front to of the Jury told them they did NOT have to meet the "Beyond Reasonable Doubt" standard, He told them that "Someone entering a building without permission is Trespassing, a misdemeanor, BUT if they even 'Intend, or can logically be believed to intend, to break any other Law, even if they DON'T break any other Law.'..that is then Burglary, a Felony. And he couched these charges under THAT Rubric.
Prejudicial in the very least, outright untruthful and unlawful by Judicial/Legal standards.
Trump's bookkeepers made an entry, long AFTER Cohen had borrowed and spent his OWN monies, doing things Trump wasn't even aware of, from Business accounts, not Campaign accounts, and paid ALL of the Taxes ...if it were Campaign funds, there would have been no Taxes. There was no "Line Item" about what specifically was being paid, Cohen was on a "Monthly Retainer", a salary...with no additional expense accounts or specific itemization, such as "Billable Hours/scope of work" that an independent Lawyer would be submitting.
The ONLY reason these acct records are even in the Govt hands is because Schiff committees got them under subpoenas for "Other Purposes" claiming a Legislative Need, specifically looking for foreign funds and emolument violations...That they then referred to DOJ/FEC for potential charges...both of which investigated and declined. THEN Lawyers for the Congress committees, DOJ teams, left those positions and Joined with Bragg's Team to take a THIRD bite at the same poisoned fruit, from the same poisoned Tree..
There were 12 checks "questioned", Bragg filed THREE charges per check. They constantly mention $130,000, but Cohen was paid three TIMES that amount, and for many other services during that period, HUNDREDS of other letters/filings/phone calls/emails pertaining to other "Work", some of it admittedly FALSE, fraudulent, and thefts committed by Cohen against his employer..

I wonder if ONE juror has the insight and fortitude to hold out and vote not guilty ?

As others have pointed out, the trial forced Trump to focus on campaigning locally.
It should be clear that Trump has a lot of support in New York, especially to the jurors who were allowed to go home for the holiday weekend.
If they were afraid of the repercussions of voting not guilty, they might think otherwise now.
The judge is a fool for not dismissing the charges, but he has been a fool all along.
