Joe Biden abandoned Israel on Monday when he refused to have the U.S. veto a UN Security Council resolution. The resolution called for an immediate ceasefire, which would then stop Israel from wiping out the Hamas terrorists. The ceasefire was not conditional on releasing the hostages, according to the Israeli UN ambassador Gilad Erdan. Republicans, including Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) blasted Biden for throwing Israel under the bus and throwing a lifeline to Hamas. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also ripped the move, saying that he would be canceling a trip to D.C. that his aides had planned.

A federal judge on Monday dismissed a lawsuit leveled by Elon Musk’s X against the Center for Countering Digital Hate over its critical coverage of the alleged rise of content deemed hateful on the social-media platform.
“Sometimes it is unclear what is driving a litigation,” District Judge Charles Breyer wrote in the order. “Other times, a complaint is so unabashedly and vociferously about one thing that there can be no mistaking that purpose. This case represents the latter circumstance. This case is about punishing the Defendants for their speech.”
The judge argued that the lawsuit unfairly targeted the nonprofit Center for Countering Digital Hate following its reports on the rise in allegedly

Private property isn't so private anymore. When normal Americans weren't looking, squatters became cult heroes. The left has been cultivating squatters' rights for years. Woke cities are giving them legal backup by consolidating COVID-19-era no-eviction rules into free housing for months or years. People seeking their piece of the American Dream are now the stars of the left's dystopian horror show.
The property takeovers are all over the country in the nation's woke cities. The stories are legion.

Georgia residents are outraged over a titanium mine that could open less than three miles away from the historic Okefenokee Swamp home to 420 different wildlife. Alabama-based Twin Pines has claimed that it plans to operate nearly 3,000 acres in the southeastern corner, located 2.9 miles from the 640-square-mile swamp's edge. Israel is currently trying to find a bypass to obtain weapons and raw materials from non-American outlets to overcome the material gaps of critical combat equipment, KAN News reported on Monday morning.
KAN cites a security official as claiming that the "increasing criticism and delegitimization fueled by both Muslim groups and antisemites endanger the transfer of US-backed ammunition and warfare.
There is concern that the tensions with the US are stimulated by the entry of Israeli troops into Rafah alongside the humanitarian issue in Gaza.[These factors] will affect Americans' willingness to continue assisting Israel with the same intensity."

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida will have one of the country’s most restrictive social media bans for minors — if it withstands expected legal challenges — under a bill signed by Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday.
The bill will ban social media accounts for children under 14 and require parental permission for 14- and 15-year-olds. It was slightly watered down from a proposal DeSantis vetoed earlier this month, a week before the annual legislative session ended.
The new law was Republican Speaker Paul Renner’s top legislative priority. It takes effect Jan. 1.

Speaking highly of China's achievement in fighting air pollution, Banga said that is the lesson he would like to take elsewhere.

After a jump in its stock price, Trump's net worth jumped by an astonishing $4 billion – which comes on top of his golf, real estate, and branding empire.

White House national security spokesman John Kirby said the Biden administration is "perplexed" by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to cancel a high-level delegation’s planned visit to Washington after the U.S. decided not to veto a U.N. Security Council vote demanding a cease-fire in Gaza. Monday’s resolution, which passed 14-0, called for an immediate cease-fire during the ongoing Muslim holy month of Ramadan. It also demanded the release of all hostages taken captive during Hamas' Oct. 7 surprise attack in southern Israel. However, the measure does not link that demand to its call for a cease-fire.
Rather than use its veto power, the U.S. abstained from voting.

You might assume that any "60 Minutes" interview would amount to a puffy softball-lobbing affair with some known left-wing politician or celebrity. Unless, of course, it is some random and rare conservative they can play a game of "gotcha" with. But on Sunday, CBS News' Sharyn Alfonsi interviewed Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. What Obrador had to say about fentanyl coming across the southern border from Mexico and the border crisis itself was a perfect study of the idea that just because someone is your neighbor doesn't necessarily mean they're your friend. It is also an example of just how weak America appears on the world stage.

Former President Donald Trump vowed to post an adjusted bond amount of $175 million within ten days, according to a court ruling on Monday — while decrying the court cases against him as “election interference.”
The new bond amount of $175 million is far less than Judge Arthur Engoron’s order required Trump to post.
The five-panel New York appeals court ruled Trump could post a bond “in the amount of $175 million” to cover the judgment. The court also delayed enforcement of the $464 million judgment by ten days. The order also means Trump can still operate a business in New York and obtain loans from New York financial institutions, CNN reported.

Does the FBI label FBI employees who support biology as potential terrorists? Or, is the FBI saying that no FBI employees support the biological basis for sex and gender distinction?
The FBI and local police keep their specific actions, methods, and technologies mostly secret; thus, one cannot say with certainty

I would suggest a little Schoolhouse Rock refresher for these leftists who fail to recognize that America is a Constitutional Republic with a representative democracy. It is laughable to hear these mindless lemmings drone on about something they fail to comprehend, like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez saying, “RICO is not a crime.” It is equally disconcerting to know that they are the ones unconstitutionally seeking to undermine our Republic.
I find it unconscionable that we here in America are having this stuck-on-stupid back-and-forth conversation about illegal immigration.

Earlier this month, the Census Bureau released data on “net domestic migration.” This tracks where people are moving between counties in the country. Last year, the 10 counties that gained the most through net migration had one thing in common – they were conservative counties that voted for Donald Trump in 2020.
At the other end of the spectrum, all 10 counties that saw the biggest negative net migration also have one thing in common – they all voted for Biden in 2020.

At the nexus of most of America’s current crises, the diversity/equity/inclusion dogma can be found. Bennett played a Fox News clip where host Martha MacCallum asked Trump lawyer Alina Habba if Trump would go to foreign leaders for money, like Joy Behar is claiming. Habba evaded an answer.

With all the chaos in the world at present, it makes sense for the Sunday news shows to feature congressional leaders as guests. As reported earlier, ABC News' "This Week" aired a segment on Sunday morning with Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) discussing the horrific attack by ISIS-K in Moscow. Rubio serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee as well as Vice Chair of the Select Committee on Intelligence. That exchange was fairly cordial and even-keeled. The two also discussed the potential for a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, which, Rubio noted, could happen tomorrow if Hamas would simply surrender.
Then their discussion turned to the recent rumors

Federal authorities have reportedly ordered Google to provide information about viewers of select YouTube videos, including their names, addresses, and phone numbers, as well as provide information about video viewers who weren't signed into YouTube while watching.
The requests are raising alarms for privacy experts who say the requests are unconstitutional and are “transforming search warrants into digital dragnets” by potentially targeting individuals who are not associated with a crime based simply on what they may have watched online.

Senate Democrats were left red-faced at a hearing on climate change as their 'expert witness' proved to be anything but when faced by veteran senator John Kennedy.
Budget Chairman Sheldon Whitehouse invited Olympic skier Gus Schumacher to give his perspective as the committee considered the impact of climate change on the recreation industry.
But it was all downhill for the 23-year-old as he struggled to answer basic questions and could not remember his tweets claiming the war on drugs was designed to jail black people, and calling for the police to be abolished.

It’s really not a matter of if Republican senators will leave the party in the lame duck session after a President Trump win in November; the question is: how many?
The predictability of the issue is actually quite simple. {GO DEEP} Almost all senators kneel at the altar of money, nothing else. The GOPe senators will exhaust every weapon in their arsenal on behalf of their multinational financial benefactors, prior to the November 2024 election. Once those narrative attack weapons are exhausted, they will take the deal and quit the party in their final political effort to retain affluence.

If you want to know what the country thinks about President Joe Biden’s agenda, look at how they vote. Not at the ballot box. But with their feet.
[snip] I&I conducted a detailed analysis of the latest Census data, comparing migration trends and the 2020 election outcomes for all 3,144 counties. What we found is that Biden-voting counties lost a net of 3.7 million people (3,670,516 to be exact) to Trump-voting counties from 2020 through 2023. (That’s up by more than a million since we did this same analysis last year.)
In other words, in just the three years

Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley weighed in on Letitia James’ latest move to seize Trump’s assets.
Marxist New York Attorney General Letitia James on Thursday took the initial step to seize Trump’s assets. She filed judgments in Westchester County where Trump’s private estate and golf course is located.
President Trump has until Monday to either pay the judgment or convince the appellate court to allow him to defer the payment pending appeal.
Turley said James’ effort to seize his assets and padlock Trump Tower is not likely to happen because Trump’s properties are complex partnerships with leveraged debt.

New Jersey first lady Tammy Murphy is suspending her campaign for Bob Menendez’s Senate seat, she announced Sunday.
“After many busy, invigorating, and yes, challenging months, I am suspending my Senate campaign today,” she said in a video posted on X. “I have been genuine and factual throughout, but it is clear to me that continuing in this race will involve waging a very divisive and negative campaign, which I am not willing to do.”
“And with Donald Trump on the ballot and so much at stake for our nation, I will not in good conscience waste resources tearing down a fellow Democrat,” she added.

The bipartisan measure to avert a government shutdown includes a provision that would effectively ban LGBTQ Pride flags from flying over U.S. embassies.
Although the $1.2 trillion, 1,012-page-package does not explicitly mention barring Pride flags from flying at U.S. embassies, its text embraces a Republican-led effort to prohibit the display of the LGBTQ Pride flag at government buildings.
“None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available by this Act may be obligated or expended to fly or display a flag over a facility of the United States Department of State”

Donald Trump was mocked on social media by President Joe Biden and other liberals after claiming he won two golf trophies at his West Palm Beach club.
Trump, still an avid golfer at 77, posted about his successes Sunday before attending a glitzy event where golfing legend Jack Nicklaus presented him a trophy as wife Melania watched on.
It comes as the president is just hours away from risking losing that club as part of a potential seizure by liberal New York State Attorney General Letitia James if he fails to pay an eye-popping $454 million fraud fine.

My father remembers a trip with my grandfather to the U.S. Military Academy in the early 1960s to watch a baseball game. They loved the game, but what struck my grandfather, who served in the Pacific during World War II, was something else.
“Watch how they sprint on and off the field,” he said. “Every inning. The best player and the worst. Whatever the score.”
I don’t know whether the boys at West Point still sprint on and off the athletic fields. I bet they do. Their generals and the politicians, however, are running in the wrong direction.

In the aftermath of the George Floyd killing in the summer of 2020, a sea of middle-class white protesters in my former hometown of Denver ritualistically writhed and moaned face-down on the grass for nine minutes in a park. It’s difficult to believe in hindsight that such creepy and transparent virtue-signaling ever took place. But middle-class white liberals were in a tailspin at the time. The often contradictory codes of “woke” social etiquette had knotted their brains; they were simultaneously confused and fighting mad, and above all, they were desperate to appear to be standing on the “right side of history.” So strong was this urge as they packed

Walt Disney Co (DIS.N), on Friday said that remarks by activist investor Nelson Peltz criticizing the company for making movies dominated by female and Black actors is evidence that he shouldn't be on Disney's board.
Peltz, whose fight to join Disney as a director has become one of the year's most bitter and closely watched board battles, in an interview with the Financial Times said Disney's films have become too focused on delivering a message, and not enough on quality storytelling. He specifically took issue with "The Marvels" and "Black Panther." “Why do I have to have a Marvel that’s all women? Not that I have

For decades, the Democrats have depended on the overwhelming support of minority voters to keep their party electorally viable. Even when they nominate candidates with spotty civil rights records, like Joe Biden, the Democrats could count on at least 90 percent of the Black vote and about 70 percent of the Latino vote. Now, however, polls suggest that neither the President nor his party can take these votes for granted. The latest New York Times/Siena College poll, for example, found that Biden’s lead over former President Trump among non-white working class voters has plummeted to 6 points (47-41).

For years, Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear that if he doesn’t win the 2024 presidential election, he is willing to cheat and steal it. [SNIP] Long before Trump began leading in battleground-state polling — and years before he was a declared 2024 candidate — the ex-president and many of his influential allies were already busy plotting ways to tilt the election in his favor.

Vice President Kamala Harris said on Sunday that the administration had not ruled out “consequences” for Israel if it defied President Joe Biden and attacked Hamas in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
Biden has warned Israel publicly not to attack Hamas in Rafah, due to the presence of large numbers of civilians there, which the terrorist group uses as human shields. Israel says that it cannot win the war without defeating the last four Hamas battalions in Rafah.
Harris’s spoke to ABC News on Sunday, telling a reporter that “I have studied the maps” of southern Gaza:

James Carville is having a moment. His quotes make headlines (see above) and he is willing to speak up against the crazy world of The Woke. To add to the mix, a documentary is being filmed about him.
New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd wrote a very entertaining piece (I know) about Carville. I doubt she intended it to receive the enjoyment I got out of Carville's conversations, but here we are.
Last week Carville advised President Biden to go more aggressively against Donald Trump in his bid to win re-election. For Carville to express his frustration that Biden is campaigning too passively is an indication that Carville takes no prisoners
