For decades, American sports fans welcomed Bob Costas into their homes with open arms as he offered thoughtful commentary and analysis in regard to sports.
That entire time, the veteran TV personality apparently held a deep personal hatred for so many of us.
On Sunday during an interview on CNN, Costas referred to people who support former President Donald Trump’s bid for the White House — people who need immediate relief from inflation and illegal immigrant crime — as “toxic” and delusional.”
The comments were made as the 71-year-old attacked Trump while speaking to network host Michael Smerconish.

Mary Poppins has had its age rating lifted from U to PG because it contains 'discriminatory language' - but the word in question is so obscure you may have never noticed it.
The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) now considers the 1964 tale of Julie Andrews' magical nanny to be not suitable for children to watch alone, despite the film enchanting generations of youngsters.
The reclassification is due to the use of the word Hottentots. The dated term was historically used by Europeans to refer to the Khoekhoe, a group of nomadic herders in South Africa, but is now regarded as racially offensive.

Michelle Obama has topped Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton in a poll of who Democrats believe could replace 81-year-old Joe Biden on the ticket if he drops out.
The former first lady's name has surfaced as a potential dramatic late entry into the 2024 race with mounting questions about Biden's age and fitness for a second term.
The 60-year-old has said multiple times she isn't interested in running for office and has admitted she is 'terrified' of the outcome of this year's election. But she still hasn't addressed recent theories that her name could be on the Democratic ticket if Biden were to leave the race.

For almost a century, there has been one constant in American politics: Jews vote for Democrats. There are multiple reasons for this fact but, regardless of the reason, the one thing Democrats could rely on was the Jewish vote. However, the Biden administration’s increasingly open hostility to Israel may be changing that pattern. One poll out of New York shows something remarkable: More than 50% of New York’s Jews plan to vote for Donald Trump!
When Eastern European Jews came to America, they were escaping tsarist oppression. For them, the opposite of tsarism was Marxism. This binary viewpoint wasn’t unique to them. In pre-WWII England

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) could be moving closer to endorsing former President Trump, a nod from an influential detractor that would serve as a powerful message for Trump.
Two sources familiar with the situation told The Hill that top lieutenants for the two GOP behemoths — Chris LaCivita, Trump’s campaign manager; and Josh Holmes, McConnell’s longtime top political hand — have held discussions in recent weeks about possibly thawing the freeze in their relationship and paving the way for McConnell to back Trump.
“We’ve reached the part of the primary where the party is coming together,” one source familiar with the discussions said.

The Supreme Court will not throw Donald Trump off the ballot through some sort of deus ex MSNBCmachina, and Trump’s polls are improving while President Crusty’s are getting worse, so we face the real possibility of Donald Trump winning the presidency. Obviously, it’s not a done deal, but it is a bigger possibility than it used to be. Well, the Democrats are facing it, and now they’re trying to figure out how to stop him from taking office if and when he wins the election.
This is a really bad idea.
But of course, the Democrat Party is the Party of Bad Ideas, and the Party of Nanny Fascism.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor is the oldest Democrat-appointed justice on the court. It is starting to look like Democrats are ready to give her the heave-ho to give President Biden another shot at putting a Democrat on the Supreme Court.
It sounds like Democrats are none too confident that their guy Joe will win re-election in November. So, to head off another Trump nominee to the majority conservative court, Democrats hope that Sotomayor will take the hint and retire.
Will it happen? Nah. It's a lifetime appointment. Why should she give that up at the age of 69? She's young compared to other Democrats in top leadership positions

Republican National Committee (RNC) chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced Monday she will leave her post on March 8, thus drawing to a close seven years at the helm of the GOP.
McDaniel, in the midst of her fourth two-year term, said she would vacate the role at the party’s spring training meeting in Houston, Texas, so as to “allow our nominee to select a Chair of their choosing.” “It has been the honor and privilege of my life to serve the Republican National Committee for seven years as Chairwoman to elect Republicans and grow our Party,” the 50-year-old said in a statement seen by ABC News, thus confirming previous speculation

We’ve now reached peak Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Democrats are actually making plans to prevent Donald Trump from taking office even if he legitimately wins the election. In other words, they are plotting an insurrection to keep the man whom they claim is an insurrectionist out of the White House. Logic, common sense, the future of the country, all be damned.
How do we know this is what they are scheming? Because, as President Joe Biden’s poll numbers continue to drop, his mental and physical health rapidly deteriorate, and options to replace him on the ballot shrink, Democrats are openly talking about it.

From her speech yesterday at CPAC, you would never have guessed Tulsi Gabbard ran as a Democratic candidate for president just three years ago. In fact, one could easily mistake her for a card carrying, gun toting, God loving MAGA acolyte.
Not at all uncomfortable in front of a sea of populist conservatives, the former House representative from Hawaii expressed her gratitude to the audience for making her feel “right at home.”
She spoke of her disdain for the Washington elite establishment with as much enthusiasm as any young buck Republican in the House. Her support of the second amendment rolled off her tongue as easily as

There is a little craziness happening in Iowa and with University of Iowa basketball star, Caitlin Clark. She just set the NCAA all-time women’s scoring record and can make even more history this season by passing Hall of Famer Pete Maravich of LSU for the all-time NCAA scoring record set in 1970. With two games remaining in the season, Miss Clark averaging ~30 points a game and just needs 51 points to break Pistol Pete’s record that he set during his three seasons in Baton Rouge.
But the leftist media’s treatment of Caitlin Clark shows just how corrupt the compromised media really is.
