The media and Democratic establishments are in a frenzy of Schadenfreude over President Trump’s Covid diagnosis. Trump’s contracting the disease, they argue, discredits any coronavirus policy short of lockdowns and mandatory mask-wearing, outdoors as well as in. Trump is now “exhibit No. 1 for the failure of his leadership on coronavirus,” Democratic pollster Geoff Garin told the New York Times.
Joe Biden indicated during a CNN town hall Thursday that President Trump is responsible for every single coronavirus death.

A white, female Willamette University professor is scheduled to host a veritable struggle session this month at a local library “for white people to reflect together on what it means to ‘do our work’ as white people.”
The professor, Emily Drew, predictably “teaches courses about racism, white supremacy, immigration, and social change,” according to a biography.
“Her research agenda revolves around understanding how race and racism get institutionalized, with the goal of helping to illuminate more effective strategies for interrupting systemic inequality,” the biography reads.
She also performs work for Crossroads, an “antiracism” consulting form whose mission centers on “dismantling racism” and “building racial justice in institutions.”

What a travesty of so-called justice. If the judge has the cojones, he’ll direct an acquittal based on 1) the fact no reasonable jury could possibly conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that what Chauvin did was the cause of death, and 2) prosecutorial misconduct for: a) pursuing the case to appease mob hysteria, hence no fair trial, and b) withholding the toxicology report for months that makes reasonable doubt obvious. Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman was a law school classmate of mine. He was a fool then, and an even bigger fool now.
