Mayor Tiffany Henyard (D) of Dolton, Illinois, got heated with officials Monday when they questioned her on issues that have brought a wave of criticism.
Fox News reported Thursday that she was pelted with questions about her controversial spending habits and transparency. [Video]
Video footage shows the meeting with Henyard speaking to fellow officials. She said, “Y’all should be ashamed of y’all selves. Y’all black. Y’all are black. And y’all sitting up here beating and attacking on a black woman that’s in power. You should be ashamed of y’all selves.”
“Y’all forget I am the leader. They want to hear from the mayor.

Pop star Taylor Swift reportedly sold one of her gas-guzzling private jets for $40 million amid threats to sue a college student who has been tracking her emissions. The “Karma” singer, meanwhile, is keeping her larger plane.
Swift sold her Dassault Falcon 900LX on January 30 to the Missouri-based car insurance company Car Shield, according to documents obtained by Daily Mail.
The move comes as Swift threatens legal action against a Florida college student who uses publicly available flight data to track her private jet usage. The singer drew criticism over a cease-and-desist letter her lawyers sent to the student.

President Joe Biden told two fundraiser audiences Wednesday he discussed the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot with a European leader who was actually dead at the time, referencing supposed talks with the deceased he has boasted of before.
Biden told Democratic donors in New York he spoke about events on Jan. 6 with former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, whose death came nearly half a decade before the supposed conversation, the New York Post reports.
The gaffe comes just days after the octogenarian president confused French President Emmanuel Macron with the country’s ex-leader Francois Mitterrand — who died in 1996, as Breitbart News reported.

It was quite the photo-op last August for Presidentish Joe Biden when he got lei'd in Maui for all the cameras in the wake of one of America's deadliest wildfires. But six months later, Biden is accused of neglecting its victims, somebody seems to be slow-walking the recovery process, and conspiracy theories are everywhere.
The worst hit was the town of Lahaina, where more than 100 people were killed, around 70 others injured, three remain missing, and countless buildings and homes were destroyed — more than 2,000. The fires spread quickly due to high winds and — this is where things got weird — civil defense sirens were never activated,

With the release of the Senate's $106 billion supplemental aid and border security bill reportedly imminent, Republican Sen. Mike Lee (UT) not only wants nothing to do with the so-called "bipartisan" bill; he's also had enough of Senators Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell's "corrupt approach to legislating."
Lee fired off a lengthy X (formerly Twitter) post on Thursday, in which he thoroughly blistered both the bill—and Schumer and McConnell. He began by recounting a short conversation with a reporter. [Tweet]
Lee was surprised by his own quick reaction to the reporter's question about whether he'd be ready to vote for the bill by Tuesday.

A 2005 clip of Morgan Freeman is circulating on social media as Black History Month kicks off, showing the actor’s distaste for the time of the year when the contributions of African Americans to the U.S. are honored.
Speaking to “60 Minutes,” Mike Wallace was taken aback by his reaction to Black History Month, which Freeman panned as “ridiculous.”
“You’re going to relegate my history to a month?” he asks in the clip. “What do you do with yours? Which month is White History Month?”
Wallace pauses before telling Freeman he’s Jewish. The actor then asks if he’d like a Jewish History Month.
Wallace says he does not.

Sometimes, the best defense is a good offense. And sometimes, offense is just a desperate ploy.
Fani Willis and Nathan Wade faced a deadline today to respond to the disqualification motion filed by RICO defendant Michael Roman that alleges a personal conflict of interest. According to CBS News, Willis and Wade will acknowledge a “personal relationship” started in 2022 after Willis hired Wade to prosecute Georgia v Donald Trump et al. However, Willis’ filing rebukes Ashleigh Merchant for ‘incredibly inappropriate” intrusions on her personal life, while Wade denies that Willis benefited from the funds she paid him:

As though President Biden hasn't taken enough actions to offer aid and comfort to America's enemies already, now he is reportedly to issue an executive order (EO) threatening Israeli citizens who have settled in the West Bank.
President Joe Biden is expected to issue an executive order targeting Israeli settlers in the West Bank who have been attacking Palestinianns in the occupied territory, according to four people familiar with the matter.
A senior administration official, who like the others was not authorized to comment publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity, said the White House was expected to announce the order later Thursday.
The order comes with Biden facing growing criticism

The Biden administration is still trying to impose more restrictions on your right to keep and bear arms.
Ever since President Joe Biden took office, he has sought to pass legislation that would make it harder for responsible Americans to obtain and carry firearms. However, the makeup of Congress made it impossible to pass his most ambitious restrictions.

Because of this, the White House has been forced to seek out new and inventive ways to violate the Second Amendment and has relied heavily on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

How do you know that it's election time?
Joe Biden is finally doing something about the border crisis. Not anything substantive to fix the issues, mind you, not that. He claims he doesn't have the power to do that. He's trying to shift the blame for the problem he created and has denied for three years until this month, to the Republicans, now that the election is upon us and his handlers realize it's an important issue to the American people.
But he's also discovered something else with election time. He's discovered how important Ohio is and how he's losing in the polls to former President Donald Trump there,

The war between Israel and Hamas continues to rage following the October 7th attacks carried out by the latter. In what culminated in a wild scene, IDF operators dressed in disguise raided a hospital in Jenin, taking out a Hamas leader and two of his deputies. No one else was harmed.
Surveillance footage showed the beginning of the operation, with one operator even showing up in a wheelchair while others dressed as Muslim women and medical workers. Later photos show the aftermath, with blood stains in the room the terrorists were hiding in. [Video, Tweet]

We've been seeing more and more trouble start to pile up for Fulton County DA Fani Willis.
First, there was the revelation of an alleged romantic relationship with the man she had appointed to be a special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, in the election case against former President Donald Trump. That was accompanied by evidence of at least two meetings with the Biden White House, which stinks to high heaven. That was followed by the records from Wade's estranged wife Jocelyn Wade that were filed in their divorce case showing that he allegedly bought trips to go on together with Willis.
