This is kind of a funny and very real political story if you follow the mechanics of it. Essentially, it starts out with Politico noting the Ron DeSantis’ Super PAC Never Back Down, paid the Club for Growth Super PAC, Win It Back, $2.75 million dollars to run attack ads against Donald Trump. {Background Story}
Apparently, Ron DeSantis didn’t want to attack Trump directly, so using the Machiavellian tactics the professionally Republican group is known for, DeSantis funded a third-party to attack Trump on his behalf. A lot of people take issue with this discovery, but the story is actually deeper, and yes, even more Machiavellian.

Club for Growth "donated" $2million to desantis...he then gave them $2,75 Million to run anti-trump adverts....that backfired and increased support for Trump.
Adverts that "Starred" Liz Cheney?

IMO there is no such thing as a Never-Trump Conservative.
These people are just registered with the Republican Party for their own gain if a republican they support is in office.
They are not Patriots who support the United States , but politicians who support themselves and using the republican party to do it. Pretty much what ALL democrats are. Political whores.
They do not support Donald Trump because they are frightened like the Democrats for the same reason, they fear Donald Trump will ease the corruption they use to get rich.

Unless things change, we will not be voting for DeSantis in 2028. We don't appreciate sneaky.

I find Sundance's obsession with DeSantis to be similar to TDS. The man has dropped out and endorsed Trump. Let it go.

This article is about far larger issues than DeS, but some will never know. They see DeS in a CTH headline and minds snap shut... "Kill the messenger"

Wow! A candidate actually ran opposition ads against an opponent in a primary?!?
If ANY of you think Trump didn't funnel money to 3rd parties to attach DeSantis, whoo boy, you probably think his last lawyer was worth the 1.5 mil in fees she wracked up.
NOT EVERYTHING is a conspiracy against the Chosen One.

FTA - "The systems of the RNC and RGA are not about supporting “Republican” politics; these institutional systems, like the RGA and RNC, are entirely focused on retaining the business model that exists within DC and the UniParty assembly. Club for Growth is simply a K-Street political lobbying firm with the intention of paying for policy they create."
So, there you have it. The RNC with the help of the RGA have chosen to preserve the uniparty. These entities are actively attempting to make Trump lose in November. And despite the trickle of senators and congress critters now purporting to endorse Trump for re-election. The RNC and RGA are quite content to have another dim sitting at the Resolute Desk comes January 2025. It's the old "follow the money" meme.
We are in a fight against an evil left and our own party. And Trump is out there having to bear the full burden of abuse, attacks, and lawfare all by himself. Sickening.
So, what are we going to do about it?

If Sundance suddenly began serially putting out hit pieces against Trump, what would happen to those who act as if Sundance is the only source for objective truth in the U.S., if not the world? Only one man, in the history of mankind, is worthy of hanging on his every word, or treating his words as the Gospel truth- and that man was not named Sundance, Trump, Washington, Lincoln, or Reagan for that matter.

Get a Trump 2024 Calendar, put it in your kitchen, office, or where you spend the most time each day, to remind you to pray daily for President Trump
and our children , grandchildren and families.
Sadly, our America is in an evil mess, but know God is still Sovereign. If you doubt it, read the book of Joshua or Daniel from Scripture…
‘I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage.’ ~ Joshua 1
And sign up at your local precinct to be a poll watcher volunteer in November.

#11 - Along with a myriad of other sources, I've been reading at Conservative Treehouse beginning with the Treyvon Martin case, through Ferguson and George Floyd, J6 and President Trump's travails. Throughout each of these events, the stunning and initial breaking news items that were mocked and dismissed have been proven true with the passage of time. Sundance has a track record that is hard for an honest observer to ignore. He does not print hearsay or speculation. What he does is turn on the house lights, pull back the curtains and lift the scenery at the D.C. Kabuki Theater exposing the actor-politicians taking off their Republican and Democrat make-up.
"If Sundance" did "suddenly began serially putting out hit pieces against Trump", I assure you he would have the proof to back up any accusations. Rather than discuss the corruption within the Republican Party establishment, you dismiss posters who appreciate his research, "what would happen to those who act as if Sundance is the only source for objective truth in the U.S., if not the world?" Then you pull the "Christ Card" without using the Savior's name, instead linking Sundance and Trump to Washington, Lincoln and Reagan as mere mortals. Nice try, but no cigar.
Running away from our problems does not solve them. The Republican Party is corrupt. Ron DeSantis chose badly. It is what it is. Don't blame Sundance because you don't like the information he uncovered. Do not accuse posters who support him as holding him higher in their lives than Our Lord and Savior. We are mature people and know the difference. May I suggest you re-read the article carefully and try to understand the funding mechanisms for the Republican wing of the Uniparty. Or, you can write Liz Cheney a fan letter.

Re: #14 - Sundance lost my automatic benefit of the doubt over the reporting of the "Twin Peaks" shootout between rival motorcycle gangs, Banditos and Cossacks in Waco in 2015, basically accusing Waco PD and Texas DPS of murder. Much of the CTH reporting was false and appeared narrative-driven. I continue to read their articles and sometimes agree and sometimes disagree. Reading has always been my prime leisure activity. While I don't gratuitously toss the MAGA acronym around, I have always supported the notion of Making America Great Again. I'm sure I'm not the enemy of anyone who feels the same and I, too, voted for Trump twice, as he was the best choice on the ballots in '16 and '20; however, I have my own opinions, which may sometimes differ with Trump's A-men corner, and always differ with the TDSers. I was never all-in for DeSantis or any Republican vying for the presidency, since Reagan in 1980. He wasn't perfect either but he did speak to conservatives in a manner that built a strong coalition, including some Blue Dog democrats who loved our country. Having joined our military twice, once enlisted and once as an officer, I followed my WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam veteran father in serving our country as best as I could. Post military, I began a law enforcement career that spanned the better part of 4 decades, the bulk of it in Texas. My comments were not intended to be insulting to anyone, but your response tells me they were taken that way. For that I apologize. My intent was an expression of my belief in the imperfection of man and my faith in the perfection of the Man Above.

This is a great tutorial on wuat we and PDJT are ip against. Not some amorphous "something" out there, but organizations like Club for Growth (David McIntosh), the Republican Governors Association and the RNC, which are passion ately agaimstMAGA and for preservation of the status quo...whatever it takes. RdS was just their vessel.
