Michelle Obama has earned her second Grammy Award, now matching husband Barack Obama. Michelle Obama won best audiobook, narration and storytelling for The Light We Carry: Overcoming In Uncertain Times on Sunday, beating out Meryl Streep, Senator Bernie Sanders, William Shatner and Rick Rubin. The win occurred during the 2024 Grammys pre-show, where most of the awards are handed out. Michelle Obama wasn’t in attendance. The former first lady won her first Grammy in the same category for her memoir Becoming. Barack Obama won his Grammys for best spoken word album with Dreams from My Father and The Audacity of

Chalk this up as another story that dumbfounds me, with Joe Biden once again fibbing to a grieving military family about how his son, Beau Biden, died. As RedState reported, three U.S. Army soldiers were killed in Jordan in late January after an Iranian-backed group attacked it with drones. The deceased have been identified as Sergeant William Rivers, Specialist Breona Moffett, and Specialist Kennedy Sanders. Good Morning America broadcast the call Biden made to the family of Specialist Sanders in which he proceeded to mislead them about his son's death, something he's done in numerous calls to Gold Star families.

Over the past seven years, many Democratic politicians have been elevated as liberal heroes of “the Resistance.” Perhaps none may have been more overrated by a loving liberal media than Stacey Abrams. Abrams rose to stardom during the 2018 election cycle, hailed as the Democrat who could flip Georgia blue while running for governor. She ended up losing in a Democratic-wave year and claiming that the election was stolen from her. She refused to concede, and yet she was not given the election-denier treatment as Republicans were after 2020. Instead, she was humored all the way to her 2022 campaign

AI-generated photos showing President Biden decked out in military gear in the Situation Room went viral Tuesday — amid Middle East tensions in the wake of the deadly drone attack on US soldiers. The troubling deepfakes posted to X show Biden in a camouflage uniform sitting at a desk with advisors in an apparent attempt to show the US was on a war footing. The images — on the heels of the Taylor Swift deepfakes scandal — were viewed thousands of times after first being posted on Elon Musk social media platform on Monday. As of Tuesday evening, they remained on the site.

It is the end of an era for Big Oil in California, as the most populous U.S. state divorces itself from fossil fuels in its fight against climate change. California's oil output a century ago amounted to it being the fourth-largest crude producer in the U.S., and spawned hundreds of oil drillers, including some of the largest still in existence. Oil led to its car culture of iconic highways, drive-in theaters, banks and restaurants that endures today. On Friday, however, the marriage will officially end. The two largest U.S. oil producers, Exxon Mobil (XOM.N), opens new tab and Chevron (CVX.N)

Six bloodied bodies riddled with gunshot wounds were found in a remote community in the California desert, police said Wednesday.

The six deceased individuals were part of a remote community just off the scenic Highway 395 between Lake Los Angeles and Adelanto, KABC reported. Officials initially indicated there were five victims, however, during their investigation a sixth body was found at the scene, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department

The targeting of another U.S.-owned commercial ship Wednesday shows the militant group remains intent on continuing its attacks in the face of multiple rounds of U.S. military airstrikes. The Houthis launched anti-ship ballistic missiles at the U.S.-owned, flagged and operated commercial ship Maersk Detroit as it was transiting the Gulf of Aden, according to a statement from the U.S. Central Command. The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Gravely shot down two missiles and a third fell into the water. There were no indications of damage or injuries in the attack. The U.S. military has been conducting airstrikes against the Houthis to

Looking ahead to the general election after former president Trump’s comfortable win in the New Hampshire GOP primary Tuesday night, CNN’s Van Jones advised President Biden to fly under the radar on the 2024 campaign trail, suggesting his lethargy is a political liability. “If I were Biden, I would stay hidden,” Jones said. “And I’ll tell you why: He doesn’t inspire confidence. He’s not a great messenger for himself.” The conversation was prompted by Obama David Axelrod, former senior adviser to President Obama, who earlier in the CNN segment said the 2024 race would be “trench warfare.” CNN host Anderson

WASHINGTON - U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin's aide asked for the ambulance picking up the Pentagon chief to keep its lights and sirens off during a New Year's Day call to 911, according to audio of call obtained by Reuters. "Can the ambulance not show up with lights and sirens? We're trying to remain a little subtle," the aide, whose name was redacted from the audio, told the 911 dispatcher. Austin's trip to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and subsequent hospitalization was kept secret for days, including from U.S. President Joe Biden and even Austin's deputy, Kathleen Hicks. MyPillow founder Mike Lindell claimed this week that Fox News “canceled” his company from advertising on the network, but a source told Mediaite his bedding company’s ads have been put on pause over a failure to pay its bills. “I’m bringing some disturbing news,” Lindell told Steve Bannon on his War Room podcast on Thursday. “Ever since I’ve been speaking out about our election platforms since January ’21, they’ve been attacking my company, MyPillow, with cancel culture… and now Fox News.” “Fox News has cancelled MyPillow,” he said, before suggesting the partnership was canceled because “my brand is branded right

Those big electronic message boards along highways that convey a message with humor to drivers are under attack by Uncle Sam. The federal government wants the messages to be less humor, more standard use. It seems to me that the country could use more humor, even more corny dad jokes. Especially on long, boring highways, a little humor in the deliverance of important information to drivers goes a long way. (Snip) Blame Mayor Pete. The Federal Highway Administration, an agency that is in the U.S. Department of Transportation, issued new guidance in December about traffic safety messages. Signs should no
