I hate to repeat the by-now tired observation that Democrats are racists, but I will anyway.
It’s Friday. The workweek is almost done, and it’s always fun to point out the hypocrisy of Leftists.
The latest example of unintentional humor is Jerry Nadler’s unintentionally hilarious excuse for why the United States needs to import several million illegal immigrants a year: They make great menial laborers. Without illegals, vegetables would rot in the fields. [Tweets/videos]
And, if I were Nadler, I would steer the topic off of food.
This is actually a common assertion of Democrats, who generally know about as much about agriculture as I know about performing brain surgery.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. military early Saturday struck another Houthi-controlled site in Yemen that it had determined was putting commercial vessels in the Red Sea at risk, two U.S. officials said, a day after the U.S. and Britain launched multiple airstrikes targeting Houthi rebels.
Associated Press journalists in Sanaa, Yemen’s capital, heard one loud explosion.
The first day of strikes Friday hit 28 locations and struck more than 60 targets. However, the U.S. determined the additional location, a radar site, still presented a threat to maritime traffic, one official said. The officials spoke anonymously to the AP to discuss an operation that hadn’t yet been publicly announced.

House Republicans have kicked off an investigation into the attorney hired by Georgia DA Fani Willis to go after Donald Trump who is now accused of having an affair with her.
The Judiciary Committee wrote a letter to attorney Nathan Wade requesting documents related to his work on the Trump indictment in Georgia, noting that he had been paid more than $650,000 - at a rate of $250 an hour - to work on the investigation and prosecution of Trump and other federal officials, according to a new court filing.
Wade was hired as an ‘anti-corruption special prosecutor’ to investigate Trump’s alleged election interference.

The Houthis took over the Yemeni capital Sana'a in 2014 along with much of the northwestern region of the country. One of the things that has become evident during the time of Joe Biden occupying the White House is how much better former President Donald Trump was in so many ways, particularly on policy. Which may explain why, under Trump, we had no new wars and peace agreements, and under Biden we have more wars and chaos. For example, Trump had the Houthis listed as terrorists. Once Biden came in, he delisted them, and we can see how that has emboldened them. Further, he coddled Iran, which is backing them, and freed up funds for them. Not a smart move.

eedback is a fundamental principle of control theory. All systems, regardless of whether they’re technical or social, require negative feedback to maintain predictability and stability. System actions which deviate from those desired must trigger a response which counteracts (rather than reinforces) the deviation. When an automobile begins to accelerate, the cruise control applies negative feedback by reducing the throttle to maintain control. Were it to do otherwise, the car’s behavior would be unpredictable or even catastrophic.
The same principle applies to people. Accountability for one’s actions maintains the predictability of human behavior.

When faced with the possible return of former President Donald Trump, the current agenda of the Democratic Party is summed up simply as "We had to destroy democracy to save it."
The effort shares a common theme: Any means necessary are justified to prevent the people from choosing their own president, given the fear that a majority might vote to elect Trump.
Sometimes the anti-democratic paranoia has been outsourced to state and local officials and prosecutors to erase Trump from the primary and likely general election ballots as well.

Six Jewish students filed a federal lawsuit against Harvard on Wednesday, alleging that the University has failed to address “severe and pervasive” antisemitism on campus.
The nearly 80-page suit — filed on behalf of the students by Donnelly, Conroy & Gelhaar and Kasowitz Benson Torres in U.S. District Court in Boston — alleges that Harvard’s “deliberate indifference” and “enabling” of antisemitism violates Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin by institutions that receive federal funding.
“Harvard, America’s leading university, has become a bastion of rampant anti-Jewish hatred and harassment,” the complaint states.

The Senate GOP leadership’s draft border deal with the White House would reward illegal migration and encourage more foreign graduates to take jobs from American graduates, says the Immigration Accountability Project.
“There’s nothing in there that [restricts immigration], in fact, it’s just going to encourage more people to come,” said Chris Chmielenski, president of the Immigration Accountability Project, adding:
It essentially authorizes the Biden administration to continue to catch and release people into the country. It authorizes them to give them work permits [to illegal migrants and] authorizes them to grant parole [legal status] to everybody that they’re able to funnel to a port of entry.

For years now, a number of mostly Eastern European nations have been arguing that, if they are going to accept any refugees from the Muslim world, they prefer Christians. Hungary, for example, has apparently been doing just that.
To this, the official western response has been to cry “racism!” Barack Obama, for instance, once called such a suggestion “shameful,” loftily adding: “That’s not American. That’s not who we are. We don’t have religious tests to our compassion.” It was later revealed that his administration was doing precisely that -- but in reverse: discriminating against persecuted Christian asylum seekers, while favoring Muslims.

Fears of an all-out regional war in the Middle East are growing as Houthi rebels say the US and UK will pay a “heavy price” for striking more than a dozen targets in Yemen.
In a recorded address, Houthi military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree said 73 strikes hit five regions of Yemen under their control on Thursday — killing at least five people and wounding six others.
“The American and British enemy bears full responsibility for its criminal aggression against our Yemeni people, and it will not go unanswered and unpunished,” he said.
Senior Houthi official Hussein al-Ezzi also said in a Google-translated post on X: “America and Britain will

The CEO of the left-wing legal group behind former President Donald Trump’s removal from the Colorado ballot went to the Biden White House multiple times last year, visitor logs show.
Noah Bookbinder, president and CEO of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), visited the White House twice in 2023, visitor logs from January to September 2023 indicate. He first visited on Jan. 6, 2023, the two-year anniversary of the 2021 Capitol riot, to watch Biden award the Presidential Citizens Medal to law enforcement officers who responded to the unrest, a CREW spokesperson told the Caller. The visitor logs appear to confirm Bookbinder’s attendance at the event.

As 2023 has ended and a new year begun, those looking for a big change in the presidential polls for either major party may be disappointed. The I&I/TIPP Poll taken in early January shows that both President Joe Biden (69% support) and former President Donald Trump (65%) have big leads currently in the primaries for their respective parties.
With little competition so far from others, what about the head-to-head competition between Biden vs. Trump?
I&I/TIPP’s national online I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,247 registered voters taken Jan. 3-5 shows that Trump holds a slender 1 percentage-point lead over Biden

President Joe Biden has changed the way he gives White House tours to some of his biggest donors, and he did so on advice of counsel.
That, of course, strongly implies that the way the president had been conducting such tours in the past violated the law — a point left-leaning Axios seemed to overlook when it reported on the changes Wednesday.
Unnamed “people familiar with the matter” told Axios for its report that, while Biden continues to host donors at the White House, he has now restricted those visits to certain parts of the president’s residence.
According to the outlet, the visits are designed to calm anxious donors

Public schools in Chicago have lost $23 million worth of laptops, iPads, and other electronic devices provided for ‘free’ to students. As many as 77,000 of these devices have just vanished into thin air.
Where did they go and who stole them?
Taxpayers are constantly lectured about public schools needing more funding and better equipment. Perhaps this is why so many people roll their eyes when they hear that argument.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is in mourning right now. We blew up a bunch of terrorists who were harassing international shipping routes in the Red Sea. For weeks, Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen were firing ballistic missiles at U.S. warships. These terrorists were targeting freighters, which is why there’s an Avengers-like coalition of navies combatting these terrorist thugs on the high seas. As Sarah wrote tonight, American and British forces are turning some into ashtrays, and they deserve it. The Wall Street Journal has more:

What is the International Court of Justice? It is not international, because it excludes judges from certain countries. It is not a real court, because the judges are selected by their countries and many of them simply follow the instructions of those who appointed them. And it has never done justice, because it has long been biased against Israel. It is the United Nations court, and that tells you all you need to know about it.
The United Nations has become the megaphone of bigotry and anti-Semitism.... Both the United Nations and its court are shams.

National Public Radio is a sandbox for the Left. The "news" there is manufactured by leftists, for leftists. You can find it easily in the latest interviews about the Biden reelection campaign. The interviewers are clearly nervous that President Joe Biden's messaging isn't working. It's not that Biden's incompetent; it's that voters are ignorant. On the Jan. 9 "Morning Edition," NPR host Michel Martin interviewed Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison. He worried that Biden's focus on "saving democracy" from the "far right" threat of Trump wasn't working.

Fox’s town hall with Trump averaged 4.3 million viewers from 9-10 p.m., according to early data from Nielsen Media Research, while the CNN debate featuring Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley averaged 2.5 million during the same hour.
[…] Wednesday night’s ratings returns are the latest signal that live events featuring Trump remain one of the largest drivers of audience for the nation’s cable news channels, all of which are facing major headwinds in the form of increased cord-cutting and changing media habits on the part of consumers.

Shortfalls in required monitoring by American officials mean the U.S. cannot track more than $1 billion in weapons and military equipment provided to Ukraine to fight invading Russian forces, according to a Pentagon audit released Thursday.
The findings mean that 59% of $1.7 billion in defense gear that the U.S. has provided Ukraine and was directed to guard against misuse or theft remained “delinquent,” the report by the Defense Department’s office of the inspector-general, the watchdog body for the Pentagon, said.

Gov. Brian Kemp used his State of the State speech to draw contrasts between his Republican philosophy and Democrats in an election year when the presidency and all of Georgia’s state House and Senate seats are on the ballot, but the Republican Kemp himself doesn’t face the voters.
Combined with that heavy dose of politics is good news for the pocketbooks of state employees and public school teachers. Kemp is proposing a 4% cost of living increase for public employees and an equivalent $2,500 raise for teachers.

President Joe Biden's support is on shaky ground in Michigan, and he trails Republican Donald Trump by 8 percentage points in a head-to-head matchup 10 months before the Nov. 5 election, according to a new statewide poll commissioned by The Detroit News and WDIV-TV (Channel 4).
The survey of 600 likely general election voters in the battleground state found only 17% said Biden, the Democratic incumbent, deserved another term leading the country. That number marked a low for a major public officeholder in modern Michigan political history, said Richard Czuba, founder of Lansing-based Glengariff Group, which conducted the poll.

The Texas Supreme Court has rejected calls to allow Texans to vote on whether the state should become independent.
The Texas Nationalist Movement had submitted a petition to the Republican party demanding the question be posed on the March primary ballot.

The petition was submitted with 139,456 signatures.[SNIP] 'Well, we did everything we could but the Supreme Court of Texas screwed us,' Texas Nationalist Movement lawyer Paul M Davis wrote.

Trump’s town hall on FOX News this week almost doubled the ratings of the Republican debate between Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis on CNN.
Democrats and other assorted critics have been complaining for months about Trump’s lack of participation in the GOP primary debates, but he is simply going around the establishment and succeeding in doing it.
The Iowa Caucus is next week. could this be an indicator of how things will turn out there?

US and UK military forces have 'successfully' completed targeted strikes in Yemen used by Houthi to attack ships in waters near the Arabian Peninsula.
Joe Biden announced the airstrikes on Thursday night against the Middle Eastern nation as missiles came from fighter jets, destroyers and a submarine.
The US used more than 100 precision missiles striking at around 2.30am local time on over 60 targets at 16 locations, according to the air force.
The attacks come in response to months of Houthi-led bombings on ships in the Red Sea - amid the conflict between Israel and Gaza.
US officials had warned there would be 'consequences' for the Houthi's attack

Former President Donald Trump’s most underrated quality is that he is the “best listener,” Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle said during a wide-ranging interview with Steve Bannon, discussing his and Editor in Chief Alex Marlow’s recent interview with the former president and delving into Boyle’s own background with major influential players in the Republican Party.Bannon opened up the interview by pointing out that Boyle is, perhaps, the “only living individual that received mentorship directly” from Tucker Carlson, Andrew Breitbart, and Bannon.

Ismail Haniyeh, a senior leader of Hamas, recently gave a speech in which he called for “financial Jihad” to support the terrorist group’s war effort against Israel as the war in Gaza continues. Haniyeh’s comments come amid a bloody war that the terrorist group started when it launched a surprise attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
The speech, which was delivered at the International Union of Muslim Scholars conference in Doha, Qatar, illustrated the need for more support coming from donors across the globe.

The USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative’s latest list of television’s most inclusive shows reveals that a majority of those shows are no longer on the air or have not been renewed.
Gee, I can’t imagine why.
“The list compiles data regarding on-screen and behind-the-camera personnel to rank the 100 most inclusive broadcast and cable series from the 2021-22 broadcast season and streaming series from 2021 to 2023,” reports the Messenger. “The list also includes the top 20 producers of the most inclusive shows on TV.”
“The research team looked at over 560 series airing on broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms across 15 inclusion indicators.” And guess what those “15 inclusion indicators” are.

Yesterday I wrote that San Francisco is a cult. It was a VIP article, so you may not have seen it. I wrote that piece after viewing the disgusting behavior–and cultish behavior–of the pro-Hamas crowd after San Francisco made its ridiculous call for a cease-fire. That a city government felt the need to do this was ridiculous, but then again the whole city is ridiculous.
The video was bizarre. Today I saw more evidence of just how awful the behavior of the activists was during the hearing before the vote to condemn Israel.
