Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene filed a complaint Wednesday requesting a criminal investigation into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Willis, who brought the racketeering case against Trump and co-defendants for alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia, allegedly hired a man she is romantically involved with as special prosecutor and approved “lucrative” compensation that he in turn used to take her on vacations, a motion filed by a Trump co-defendant Monday alleged. Greene sent a criminal referral to Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Attorney General Chris Carr on Wednesday expressing “serious concerns” about the allegations, NBC News reported.

Hunter Biden is the gift that keeps on giving. And I’m not talking about the STDs he’s probably given and received from his “lady” friends. This president’s son, who has absolutely no business skills and typically is not even sober, has collected tens of millions from foreign governments and businessmen. Some of that money has found its way through labyrinth shell corporations and into the hands of the “Big Guy.” Some of it has not found its way into the hands of the Internal Revenue Service, though it should have. Low on law, high on theater. That’s the best way of looking at Hunter Biden’s Capitol Hill stunt Wednesday morning. The president’s son crashed a public meeting at which the House Oversight Committee was slated to vote on a resolution, based on which the full House would eventually hold him in contempt of Congress — ironically, for defying a subpoena demanding that he show up at the Capitol so the committee could depose him. I say "low on law" because, in the absence of enforcement, law is just a talking point.

Claudine Gay’s sudden resignation from Harvard has been an eye-opener. Why would Harvard appoint a serial plagiarizer with an undistinguished scholarly record as its President? Or a person with such limited administrative experience? Nevertheless, this disaster is even worse. Claudine Gay is intent on promoting the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE) agenda whose aim is to radically transform the United States, including universities such as Harvard. Nor is she alone in her radical quest.

Joe Biden has talked about climate change endlessly since taking office, but a new survey shows that most voters in swing states do not care about the issue at all. This would only be surprising to the left, but most people are not thinking about supposed climate change when they’re struggling to pay for basic items like food, heating energy and gas for their cars. Besides the economy, people across the country are also deeply concerned about issues like crime and the mess Biden has made at the southern border.

Ahead of a thunderstorm Tuesday evening, New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is moving nearly 2,000 border crossers and illegal aliens from Floyd Bennett Field into a Brooklyn high school’s gymnasium — forcing students into virtual classes. On Tuesday, Adams announced that the border crossers and illegal aliens would be moved from Floyd Bennett Field, where they have been staying, to the gym at James Madison High School in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn. School faculty were told to take important items with them from their classrooms and offices when they left campus on Tuesday. As a result, James Madison High School Principal Jodie Cohen notified parents, students, and faculty that

Iran has developed a new attack drone for Russia's war in Ukraine and appears close to providing Moscow with surface-to-surface missiles, an informed security source has claimed. The Shahed-107 was described as an "explosive and reconnaissance" unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), possibly fitted with technology to seek out high-value battlefield targets such as British and American multiple-launch rocket systems used by Ukrainian forces. The source told Sky News "a few units" of the specially-designed drone may have been offered to Russia in a deal estimated to be worth more than $2m (£1.6m). This reflects "the significant force design work Iran is engaged in to support Russia's interests regarding Ukraine", the source said.

Hunter Biden’s Manhattan art dealer said Tuesday that he never worked with the White House on an ethics pact to ensure buyers would remain anonymous — and added that the top purchasers were known to the first son, contrary to prior claims from President Biden’s aides. Georges Bergès also revealed that in addition to the lack of supposed anti-corruption safeguards he actually met and spoke on the phone with the president while repping his son, the House Oversight Committee said in a readout of a closed-door deposition.

The special prosecutor that Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis is accused of having an “improper” relationship with billed the Fulton County DA’s office $4,000 for two eight-hour meetings with White House officials while overseeing the election interference case against former President Donald Trump, according to court documents. The apparent meetings attended by Nathan Wade, an Atlanta-based private attorney hired by Willis to assist in the prosecution of the Trump and his co-defendants, took place in 2022 after he was tapped for the role, according to invoices included in a bombshell court filing by Michael Roman, a former Trump 2020 campaign official.

Fox News contributor and George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley laid out two big “torpedoes” that could hurt Jack Smith’s case against former President Donald Trump. Trump appeared in court Tuesday for oral arguments before a three-judge panel. The former president’s legal team is arguing that he cannot be tried again because he was acquitted in his second impeachment trial and that Trump is immune because he was acting within his official capacity as president. “There is a number of torpedoes in the water here. One is time, which you mentioned. Most of us expressed skepticism about the March 4th date.

President Joe Biden’s administration pledged from day one to restore truth and transparency to the federal government — but now it’s facing a maelstrom of criticism and credibility questions after Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s hospitalization was kept secret for days, even from the White House. The controversy has prompted a government-wide review of what protocols are in place to prevent such failures and the Pentagon is scrutinizing its own procedures following the extraordinary lapse, which left even Austin’s top deputies unaware of his condition for days.

Former President Trump’s legal team suggested Tuesday that even a president directing SEAL Team Six to kill a political opponent would be an action barred from prosecution given a former executive’s broad immunity to criminal prosecution. The hypothetical was presented to Trump attorney John Sauer who answered with a “qualified yes” that a former president would be immune from prosecution on that matter or even on selling pardons. In the hearing that reviewed a motion from Trump’s team to toss his election interference charges, Sauer argued that presidents can only be criminally prosecuted if they have already been tried and convicted by the Senate.

When Wolfe was busted by the FBI his lawyers threatened to introduce evidence in court that he was instructed to do so by SSCI Vice-Chairman Senator Mark Warner. Democratic consultant and political commentator James Carville said Tuesday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360″ that former President Donald Trump will underperform” with voters in Iowa. Carville said, “Moderates, do they show up? If so, it probably helps Haley. More than 60,000 moved to the Des Moines suburbs since the 2016 race. Right? They’re not all Republicans. But do those that are Republicans show up? What will we see the suburbs around Cedar Falls, around Dubuque? The flip side is across the top up here, across the bottom down here, those are the evangelical rural counties that Ted Cruz beat Donald Trump in 2016. Trump is expected to run it up there.
