GOP Rep Has a Theory for Why 'Good Conservatives'

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) made an explosive claim that members of Congress, including “good conservative” lawmakers, are blackmailed into voting for “crazy stuff” to prevent “Here’s how it works,” he said, explaining the schemes are orchestrated by “powerful people” who “write the big checks.” “You’re visiting—you’re out of the country or out of town or you’re in a motel or at a bar in D.C.—and whatever you’re into—women or men or whatever—comes up and they’re very attractive, and they’re laughing at your jokes. And you’re buying them a drink. Next thing you know, you’re in the motel room with them naked,” he said.

I absolutely believe him. I've thought about this possible scenario for a LOOONG time. It makes perfect sense. It also makes sense that people get re-elected two or three times and catch "Potomac Fever" - they don't want to give up the Good Life, so they go along to get along. For those that think that can't happen, think about this: how hard would it be to slip someone a Mickey at a cocktail party? Have a drink, and the next thing you know, you're waking up next to someone you just met. It's that easy. Democrats will do ANYTHING to get and keep power.

I don't think that is a "theory" I think it is a given. If these blackmailed officials had even a shred of integrity, they would come forward, admit they are being blackmailed, by whom and why. Then vow to not comply, and either resign on the spot or announce they are not running for re-election. Instead these putrid cowards willfully comply to their new masters just to keep their façade of righteousness intact.

It's obvious this has been going on for years. Likely got it's start when Hillary demanded to see all FBI files shortly after Bill became president. (She was not legally allowed to do so, but she sure got them.) I've thought that if all of these people being blackmailed banded together, and there are likely hundreds of them, they would have a chance of shutting this down. They couldn't go after everyone at once.

Epstein used this to accumulate his massive wealth. The real money managers onWallStreet were amused at his lavish goings on because none of them saw him in the marketplace. He 'influenced' powerful people to direct their money management through him, for which he received an asset mgt 'finders fee'. He then passed the mgt of those Trust funds, endowments, corporate treasuries and other entities to legitimate advisors. I think the Clinton Global Initiative was similar except with Governments and for influence not silence.

I had a friend in political office and he voted for some things that i knew he wouldn't ordinarily vote for. I asked him why and he said there is no way to be honest and voted the way you wish to, He said i have things that are important to me that i want passed. If I don't vote for their, they don't vote for mine. It's the same whether it is county Government or federal government. One hand washes the other.

They haven't even touched base for everything pulled. Let's say you're a paragon of virtue. They will hunt up your family members, your best friends your extended family - whatever it takes. The FBI went over all this stuff when they were investigating you for your clearances. They have a dossier of your questionable aquaintences. And at that key vote, they walk up to you: 1.vote the way we want or your kid/best friend uncle/cousin/whatever, is going to be ruined. They will be destroyed... or 2. Your best friend uncle/cousin/whatever, is going to claim on national TV about you doing xyz to them, and the media is ready to cover it. And we'll pull the trigger if you don't vote our way... or 3.... We've got a deep fake of you, during a time you don't have an alibi. It's real believable... You get the idea. Being careful is not good enough.

The Christmas season flies by, doesn't it? It's hard to believe that it's Christmas Eve, and of course, this year it happens to be a Sunday. You may already be feeling the stress of Christmas being so close. Maybe there are presents to wrap — or presents to buy. Maybe you have food to cook in anticipation of family or friends coming over. Maybe you're juggling church, entertaining, and travel on a Christmas Eve Sunday. My Christmas Eve this year began with an early-morning rehearsal for Sunday morning services, followed by leading worship. My family will have our yearly tradition of eating supper at Waffle House,

I wrote this column ten years ago during a busy and stressful time in my life. I post it here again because I know that Christmas can be difficult for many. Perhaps you've lost a loved one, received a devastating diagnosis, or have unresolved family problems that threaten to erupt. And then there's the news — "wars and rumors of wars," our dysfunctional government, rampant crime, and even genocide in Israel. Whatever difficulties you're facing, whatever pain you're going through—at a time when everyone seems to be joyful and smiling — I pray that you will find hope in God's word and a classic Christmas hymn,

Christmas road trips this weekend might be challenging for those who are driving an electric vehicle (EV) an extended distance for the first time. While EVs are popular with certain groups even as they’ve been largely panned by the general population, inexperienced EV drivers could face some unwanted travel surprises this holiday season if they hit the road unprepared, Axios notes in a recent report. Nearly 104 million people are expected to drive at least 50 miles from their homes between December 23 and January 1, which is a little more than last year’s holiday season, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).

Despite efforts to overturn a ruling by the Maine Secretary of State, Christie’s appeal was rejected, solidifying his absence from the crucial ballot. The former New Jersey Governor’s campaign faced a significant setback when the Maine Supreme Judicial Court upheld the Secretary of State’s decision, stating that the candidate failed to meet the necessary requirements for ballot inclusion. The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Christie will not be listed on the Maine primary election ballot due to his failure to secure the required number of in-state petition signatures.
