California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, commands a Golden State that has turned into a deep blue "Sapphire State."As Newsom took over following the 2003 San Francisco mayoral election, the then-mayor-elect said that December he intended to "aggressively" make ending homelessness in his city his administration's top priority. The plan involved a 10-year strategy to end chronic homelessness with "tens of millions" of federal dollars in funding to create 550 "supportive housing" units for the troubled homeless, SFGate reported at the time.

The joke’s on him.
George Santos is threatening to sue late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and ABC for alleged misuse of his Cameo clips, The Post has learned.
An attorney for the expelled House member sent a “cease and desist” letter to Kimmel, ABC and executive producer of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Doug Deluca after several of Santos’ Cameos were played on the show. We are writing to congratulate you — your ‘dream’ of being sued by Mr. Santos may indeed come true,” Santos lawyer Andrew Mancilla wrote in the Dec. 12 letter, obtained by The Post.
“While your comedic efforts are much appreciated,

Why is Donald Trump so resilient?
As 2023 draws to a close, the ex-president is on track to win the Republican nomination and beat Joe Biden come November.
If the election were today, Trump would get his second term. Yet he’s charged with crimes that run a gamut from election interference to mishandling classified information.
He’s under gag orders and lost a $5 million civil suit this year.
Why don’t voters care — or if they do, why are they rewarding Trump, not punishing him?

President Biden’s brother James was secretly recorded by the FBI during a bribery investigation into a Mississippi trial attorney who shelled out $100,000 to his consulting firm in the late 1990s, a report said on Sunday.
Richard Scruggs, the trial attorney, hired James and Sara Biden’s DC consulting firm while seeking to gin up support for tobacco legislation being contemplated by Congress in 1998, the Washington Post reported.

Ever been to a club where the bouncer checking IDs at the door is also working a clicker to keep a headcount so the place doesn’t violate the fire code capacity (by too much). Each person in is a click, each person out is a click. It makes sense and avoids any serious issues. Democrats are like that bouncer, only their clicker has an endless supply of buttons with each one representing some random configuration of human beings – skin color, gender, sexual orientation, pronouns,

The anti-Israel protesters seem to want to engage in the type of actions that tick off the American people.
Few things will anger Americans more than a protest blocking a highway or main road. The anti-Israel crew blocked the 110 Freeway last week in Los Angeles. They kept little kids on two school buses trapped for an hour, not to mention hundreds of other drivers. Motorists were not happy and some of them physically confronted some of these characters; one driver picked up one of them and then dumped the activist in the street. They also blocked an expressway in Philadelphia and got zip-tied and arrested.

In addition to being an insufferable leftist, Paul Krugman is a world-renowned economist. He even has a Nobel Prize to prove it.
I’m just a retired engineer who refuses to keep my opinions to myself. I shouldn’t be able to ridicule him on economic matters, but he just makes it so danged easy. It’s seems clear that our Nobel laureate is either economically illiterate or just plain dishonest. I doubt he’s economically illiterate, but I’ll let you decide.

Many brilliant and funny people have already weighed in on the terrible, manipulative, and silly film streaming on Netflix that Barack and Michelle Obama had a hand in producing, Leave the World Behind. One has only to read some of the over a thousand comments on Rotten Tomatoes, where 75% of the critics liked it, and only 39% of audiences did, to see mockery at its very best. There are also 851 comments on IMDB that make for amusing reading. Andrea Widburg’s column here at AT is also a comic takedown. Sure, a few people liked it.

United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry says it will take trillions of dollars to "solve" climate change. Then he says, "There is not enough money in any country in the world to actually solve this problem."Kerry has little understanding of money or how it's created. He's a multimillionaire because he married a rich woman. Now he wants to take more of your money to pretend to affect climate change.

There’s apparently no end to how far the mainstream operatives will go in their quest to destroy the virtues of the West, and a USA Today article published last week is a prime example.
The man behind the piece, Daniel de Visé, essentially implies that anyone not born into tremendous wealth doesn’t have a chance at success, and those who are rich only got that way by mere circumstance and birthright, overtly implying that capitalism has caused this problem and that, we must work

Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on felony and misdemeanor charges — nine counts in total — stemming from alleged tax crimes the first son committed between 2016 and 2019.
The three felonies leveled against President Biden’s 53-year-old son include one count tax evasion for his 2018 personal taxes and two counts of filing a false return for his 2018 personal taxes and on a corporate income tax return for his company Owasco, PC.
He has also been hit with six misdemeanor counts of failure to pay and failure to file charges for the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 tax years.

Our border is broken, inflation and crime are breaking Americans, and wars are breaking out all over. Still, the Biden administration is keeping its eye on the ball—and the ball, as Biden made clear during his now-famous speech given against an ominous blood-red background, is to destroy “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans,” whom he characterized as “represent[ing] an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” In Biden-world, the best way to recognize these American “Nazis” (for that’s what he’s calling them) is to identify and arrest everyone who showed up in D.C. on January 6, 2021. The latest victim is Siaka Massaquoi.
