Many brilliant and funny people have already weighed in on the terrible, manipulative, and silly film streaming on Netflix that Barack and Michelle Obama had a hand in producing, Leave the World Behind. One has only to read some of the over a thousand comments on Rotten Tomatoes, where 75% of the critics liked it, and only 39% of audiences did, to see mockery at its very best. There are also 851 comments on IMDB that make for amusing reading. Andrea Widburg’s column here at AT is also a comic takedown. Sure, a few people liked it.

United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry says it will take trillions of dollars to "solve" climate change. Then he says, "There is not enough money in any country in the world to actually solve this problem."Kerry has little understanding of money or how it's created. He's a multimillionaire because he married a rich woman. Now he wants to take more of your money to pretend to affect climate change.
Bjorn Lomborg points out that there are better things society should spend money on.

There’s apparently no end to how far the mainstream operatives will go in their quest to destroy the virtues of the West, and a USA Today article published last week is a prime example.
The man behind the piece, Daniel de Visé, essentially implies that anyone not born into tremendous wealth doesn’t have a chance at success, and those who are rich only got that way by mere circumstance and birthright, overtly implying that capitalism has caused this problem and that, we must work

Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on felony and misdemeanor charges — nine counts in total — stemming from alleged tax crimes the first son committed between 2016 and 2019.
The three felonies leveled against President Biden’s 53-year-old son include one count tax evasion for his 2018 personal taxes and two counts of filing a false return for his 2018 personal taxes and on a corporate income tax return for his company Owasco, PC.
He has also been hit with six misdemeanor counts of failure to pay and failure to file charges for the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 tax years.

Our border is broken, inflation and crime are breaking Americans, and wars are breaking out all over. Still, the Biden administration is keeping its eye on the ball—and the ball, as Biden made clear during his now-famous speech given against an ominous blood-red background, is to destroy “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans,” whom he characterized as “represent[ing] an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” In Biden-world, the best way to recognize these American “Nazis” (for that’s what he’s calling them) is to identify and arrest everyone who showed up in D.C. on January 6, 2021. The latest victim is Siaka Massaquoi.

The video captures the unsettling scene of police hurling not one, not two, but three concussion grenades into an apparently peaceful crowd at the Capitol on January 6.
In this eye-opening footage, the peaceful atmosphere is shattered by the deafening blasts of concussion grenades.
It made me wonder, "Why hasn't this been shown?"
It's the kind of reality check that sends shivers down your spine. But here's the kicker: the January 6 Committee, the supposed guardians of truth in the aftermath of the Capitol insurrection, has kept this video, and probably many others, under wraps.
The Jan. 6, 2021, narrative was that the Capitol had seemingly turned into a battlefield,

A former American diplomat who served as U.S. ambassador to Bolivia has been arrested in a long-running FBI counterintelligence investigation, accused of secretly serving as an agent of Cuba’s government, The Associated Press has learned.
Manuel Rocha, 73, was arrested in Miami on Friday on a criminal complaint and more details about the case are expected to be made public at a court appearance Monday, said two people who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss an ongoing federal investigation.
One of the people said the Justice Department case accuses Rocha of working to promote the Cuban government’s interests.

The world's rich and famous, plus an army of publicists, hangers-on and, mendicants, are attending the COP28 meeting in Dubai, the ostentatious 7-star playground capital of the United Arab Emirates, where even the police drive luxury sports cars.
We peasant classes sitting at home note that climate royalty, including King Charles from the U.K., John Kerry from USA, and Blackouts Bowen from Australia, are all flying there, burning vast amounts of carbon fuels. Fittingly, these hypocrites chose to meet in the richest and most wasteful artificial city in the world, wallowing in wealth derived from oil, gas, and air travel tourists.

When the oil chief was announced as COP28 president in January, campaigners likened it to "appointing the CEO of a cigarette company to oversee a conference on cancer cures".
If you could pick one person to try to solve the worsening climate crisis, who would you pick?
That person would have to steer this year's United Nations COP climate summit, in a year "near certain" to be the hottest ever on record, and with time running out for the dramatic action UN scientists say is needed to stop climate change hitting us hard.

Reports from local media say children's hospitals are "overwhelmed" with sick children, but Chinese authorities say a surge in sickness is a result of known illnesses circulating more widely after COVID restrictions lifted. Here is what we know so far. China has seen an uptick in respiratory illness and clusters of undiagnosed pneumonia in children.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has asked China for more detailed information about the increase in respiratory disease.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s regulators are on the verge of settling a discrimination lawsuit alleging that the state favored convicted pot felons over disabled veterans in the awarding of licenses to sell legal marijuana.
The move would accelerate the opening of hundreds of cannabis stores left in limbo by the Empire State’s legal weed war.
The details of the proposed agreement weren’t made public, but the state Cannabis Control Board has called for an emergency meeting on Monday to approve the settlement in the case brought by disabled vets Carmine Fiore, William Norgard, Steve Mejia and Dominic Spaccio.

For Israel, it had to be good news to learn that Geert Wilders, the supposedly wild and crazy Dutch version of Donald Trump, came in with a huge parliamentary victory in the Netherlands and now may become the country's next prime minister.
That's because Wilders is a ferocious advocate and ally for Israel. It matches the result from another Trump-like leader who just got elected -- that of Javier Milei, now president of Argentina ... and another very vocal ally for Israel. At one of this last campaign rallies, he was videoed waving the Israeli flag, vowing to make Argentina Israel's best friend.
