DEI boss faces Ohio state probe over ‘decentering
whiteness’ Forbes article

A Diversity, Equity and Inclusion consultant is facing a state probe in Ohio after penning an article for Forbes about “decentering whiteness.” The column by Janice Gassam Ascre, who heads the firm BWG Business Solutions, was blasted by Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance as he announced an investigation into whether she or her business ever received taxpayer money. “I’m just done with this s—. It’s racist and it’s gross,” the senator posted on X, as he shared Ascre’s Forbes column.

Comments:

The ignorant racist is pictured in a room lit by electric lights and presumably with central heating. She is holding a printed book and in the background there is a sink with piped-in fresh water, a microwave, an ironing board, and an electric stove. The walls and ceiling are coated with latex paint. The fabrics in her clothing were made on automatic looms and her hair is dyed with peroxide. All of those things were invented by white men. Every innovation which has lifted the human race beyond Stone Age hunter-gathering was created by white men. She couldn't possibly be more publicly ignorant than she is.

Is a business being too White in the same way that doing well in school is being too White (for Black and minority students, except Asians)? What do the DEI warriors suggest we replace success with? Mediocrity or failure? If Whiteness in business (and school) works, I'll take that over failure any day.

This 'decentering' is another otherwise meaningless weasel word which is not difficult to dissect and expose if you have the political will. You CANNOT separate it from white people . Nor is there any real intention to. IMO, the Senator understands perfectly what this racist trash implies and is all about..

Good news item but there is no such thing as 'reverse racism'. Racism is racism, but the media and government want us to believe it's only a white thing. Read the news about shootings and stabbings on streets and in grocery stores. Who gets pushed onto subway tracks?

Surging farebeating is a sign of bad things
to come: Reverse the soft-on-crime trend now

New MTA reporting shows farebeating on buses and subways is still rising — a clear warning that broader public disorder is ahead. Just what New York needs when Mayor Adams is looking to shrink the NYPD. Reminder: A crackdown on farebeating was the first major step in the city’s historic gains against crime starting back in the 1990s. Bill Bratton, then chief of the MTA police, directed that effort in order to make the subways safer: If you commit a casual crime to enter the system, he realized, you become more likely to commit worse crimes while you’re there.

DUBLIN — In the 12 months leading up to April this year, 141,600 immigrants landed in Ireland. The Irish population has increased by more than 2%. If the US had similar immigration, it would mean 9 million extra people. This is the highest level since the prosperous “Celtic Tiger” era of the late ’90s. Ireland’s non-nationals comprise a whopping 20% of the population. The tinder box of immigration blew open Thursday with a mass riot in Dublin following the stabbing of a number of young children outside a school near the main street.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ Thanksgiving tweet backfired after eagle-eyed social media users noticed her using a cooking appliance that the Biden administration floated banning earlier this year. “From our family to yours, happy Thanksgiving,” Harris posted on X Thursday, including a photo of her next to second gentleman Doug Emhoff, a casserole and a gas stove. Harris, 59, was roasted over the post, with many conservatives accusing her of “hypocrisy.”

Hundreds of “radicalized” kids rampaged through the halls of a Queens high school this week for nearly two hours after they discovered a teacher had attended a pro-Israel rally — forcing the terrified educator to hide in a locked office as the teen mob tried to push its way into her classroom, The Post has learned. The mayhem at Hillcrest High School in Jamaica unfolded shortly after 11 a.m. Monday in what students called a pre-planned protest over the teacher’s Facebook profile photo showing her at a pro-Israel rally on Queens Oct. 9 holding a poster saying, “I stand with Israel.”

The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the nation’s capital has surpassed 900 carjackings over the past year as Americans. The MPD’s carjacking dashboard shows 901 total year-to-date carjackings and only 157 year-to-date carjacking arrests. In all, 77% of carjackings committed in the federal district involved a firearm. In addition, 66% of arrests involved a juvenile defendant, highlighting D.C.’s ongoing problem with youth crime at a time when the D.C. Attorney General is being criticized for his comparatively soft approach to youth crimes.

The upcoming United Nations (UN) climate conference in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), known as COP28, appears likely to have a larger carbon footprint than any previous UN climate change summit. More than 70,000 people are expected to show up to COP28, about 25,000 more people than last year’s summit, COP27. The conference, which runs from Nov. 30 through Dec. 12, will focus on global strategies to reduce emissions and accelerate the shift away from fossil fuels in favor of green energy.

The impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden is gaining momentum as more evidence comes out to back allegations that the president himself financially benefited from the overseas business dealings of his son, Hunter. While Republicans will find it very difficult to get the needed supermajority to impeach Biden, the mounting evidence and media coverage would be another obstacle for Biden to overcome as he campaigns for reelection.

Eric Adams ran for office on a public-safety platform two years ago. His crime record is mixed, but public safety isn’t just crime: E-bike and e-scooter battery-fire deaths are reaching “staggering” levels, his fire commissioner says. So it’s not good the unrelated corruption suspicions swirling around the mayor involve . . . pressuring the FDNY to ignore safety rules, rules that inconvenienced donors and their friends. The familiar story unfolded again last week: A powerful fire obliterated a Brooklyn brownstone.

Two years ago, my colleague Joe Cunningham wrote about the beautiful ad that Chevrolet did for Christmas with a man who is sad at the holidays because his wife has died. The daughter then lovingly has the wife's car -- which is under wraps in the barn, unused for a while -- restored, unbeknownst to the father, to surprise him and bring back those memories of the love of his wife he so misses. “It’s what mom would’ve wanted,” the daughter says. It's no secret that for years, the Drudge Report drove conservative (and often mainstream) media news cycles. If Drudge was talking about it, you could bet everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Fox News to PJ Media was also discussing it. In fact, there was a symbiotic relationship between Drudge's aggregated links and the pages of most conservative media outlets. Pretty much everyone was either getting story prompts from Drudge or sending him stories (often via AOL Instant Messenger) hoping he'd link them. A Drudge link day was always a good one
