A tool-kit dropped by NASA astronauts working on the ISS is now orbiting the Earth at 17,000mph and will be visible from the ground as it flies over Britain tomorrow.
The stray bag was accidentally lost by astronauts Jasmin Moghbeli and Loral O'Hara while they were mending a solar panel on the ISS earlier this month.
Astronomers on the ground have now spotted the kit glimmering like a star as it precedes the trajectory of the ISS by several minutes, according to The Telegraph.
JERUSALEM, Israel — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released evidence Sunday that Hamas murdered captured soldier Noa Marciano at Shifa Hospital in Gaza. It also showed surveillance footage of terrorists taking other hostages to the hospital.
As Breitbart News reported last week, the IDF recovered Corporal Marciano’s body during operations near Shifa Hospital. Argentina’s President-elect Javier Milei delivered a rousing victory speech on Sunday night, interrupted by chants of “liberty!” and campaign songs calling for the ouster of all politicians, promising to “embrace the ideas of liberty” and restore Argentina to world-power status within 35 years.
Milei won the nation’s chief executive office in a landslide vote, defeating socialist opponent Sergio Massa, the nation’s current minister of economics, by about 12 percentage points. BUENOS AIRES, Argentina— Argentines cast their votes for a new president Sunday in a fiercely polarizing runoff that will determine whether South America’s second-largest economy takes a rightward shift amid soaring inflation and rising poverty.
Populist candidate Javier Milei, who got his start as a television talking head, has frequently been compared to former U.S. President Donald Trump. He and Economy Minister Sergio Massa of the Peronist party, which has been a leading force in Argentine politics for decades, were competing in the runoff.
Republicans on Saturday swept three statewide runoff elections in Louisiana, securing wins in the races for attorney general, secretary of state, and treasurer.
The three victories mean that Republicans secured every statewide elected office for the first time since 2015, the year Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards won the first of his two terms in office. Mr. Edwards’ successor is Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, a Republican who won outright in October and avoided a runoff.

Thirty-four members of Congress have already announced they were not seeking re-election, including Senator Joe Manchin whose West Virginia Senate seat has moved from "Leans Republican" to "Safe Republican" in the Sabato Crystal Ball ratings.Few retirements in Congress will lead to that kind of a decisive difference. Since most Congressmen are already in non-competitive districts, a retirement won't matter in many districts.

Wall Street financiers are looking to Nikki Haley as the candidate to pull the 2024 Republican nomination away from former President Donald Trump, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Haley is currently placing third in national polling at 9.5% behind Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida at 14.3% and Trump at 59.7%, according to Real Clear Politics. Despite this, Wall Street is considering Haley as a viable alternative to Trump in the 2024 primaries, with some saying that they are “desperate” to keep the former president from becoming the nominee, according to the WSJ.

Rosalynn Carter, who as first lady worked tirelessly on behalf of mental health reform and professionalized the role of the president’s spouse, died Sunday at the age of 96, according to the Carter Center.
Carter passed away peacefully with family by her side at her home in Plains, Georgia, the center said in a statement.

Arizona State University canceled an event that the school was set to host on Friday featuring Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), which comes after she openly expressed support for the elimination of the state of Israel.
The Arizona Republic reported that the event, dubbed “Palestine is an American Issue,” was set to be hosted by the far-Left group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), according to a bipartisan group of Arizona state lawmakers.
The event was canceled after the lawmakers signed a letter titled, “Congresswoman Tlaib’s Extremist, Antisemitic Views Are Not Welcome in the State of Arizona.”
A U.S. Postal Service (USPS) employee and two others were arrested for a scheme involving stealing over $24 million in checks from the mail and selling them online, prosecutors say.
The postal worker, Nakedra Shannon, 29, was employed by the USPS as a mail processing clerk at a processing and distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to a statement released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of North Carolina.
Shannon allegedly worked alongside two co-conspirators, Donnell Gardner, 27, and Desiray Carter, 24, to steal incoming and outgoing checks from April to July 2023. The co-conspirators then sold the checks through the Telegram channel “OG Glass House,” per the statement.

Senior commanders refused to heed the warnings of the young female surveillance soldiers tasked with watching the Gaza border in the weeks before the brutal Hamas massacre on October 7, and the soldiers believe sexism was a factor in their being ignored, according to a Friday report.

This week the Ventura County Sheriff arrested Professor Loay Abdelfattah Alnaji in the death of Paul Kessler, a 69 year-old man who had been standing on the sidewalk peacefully supporting Israel. Alnaji, who bashed Kessler with a megaphone, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and battery causing serious bodily injury and both these charges contain special allegations that Alnaji “personally inflictedgreat bodily injury.” This comes as no surprise to most of us who get their news online but it must have been news to those who read headers which said he died after falling and hitting his head on the sidewalk.

No men would be released under the deal, and no male or female soldiers, according to the Post, which cited unnamed officials describing an agreement brokered by the U.S. and Qatar as intermediaries between Israel and the Hamas terror organization.

JERUSALEM, Israel — Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant vowed Saturday night that all Hamas operatives would be killed — including those outside Gaza, sheltering in comfortable exile in Arab states like Qatar.
“There is no difference between a terrorist who walks around with a Kalashnikov … and a terrorist who wears a three-piece suit and walks around in another part of the world,” Gallant told a press conference, as the war entered its seventh week. “All of them are dead men walking.”
