JERUSALEM, Israel — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released evidence Sunday that Hamas murdered captured soldier Noa Marciano at Shifa Hospital in Gaza. It also showed surveillance footage of terrorists taking other hostages to the hospital. Argentina’s President-elect Javier Milei delivered a rousing victory speech on Sunday night, interrupted by chants of “liberty!” and campaign songs calling for the ouster of all politicians, promising to “embrace the ideas of liberty” and restore Argentina to world-power status within 35 years. Milei won the nation’s chief executive office in a landslide vote, defeating socialist opponent Sergio Massa, the nation’s current minister of economics, by about 12 percentage points. Massa had won the first round of voting in October, when Milei – a solidly right-wing economic populist – had to compete for the vote with an establishment conservative candidate, Patricia Bullrich.

Electric vehicles have been around for 100 years or so. They lost out to gasoline powered cars because gasoline powered cars are better. Is that ever going to change? At the Telegraph, Michael Kelly draws an analogy to the Concorde: The man in the street has failed to embrace BEVs for the same reason he failed to embrace Concorde nearly 50 years ago: the extra cost – of order £10,000 per vehicle – represents an insurmountable barrier. People might pay the extra if they were getting something better in performance terms, but range anxiety and the lack of convenient recharging infrastructure remain formidable hurdles. Insurance costs are high too,

JERUSALEM, Israel — Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant vowed Saturday night that all Hamas operatives would be killed — including those outside Gaza, sheltering in comfortable exile in Arab states like Qatar. “There is no difference between a terrorist who walks around with a Kalashnikov … and a terrorist who wears a three-piece suit and walks around in another part of the world,” Gallant told a press conference, as the war entered its seventh week. “All of them are dead men walking.” Gallant’s remarks hinted at the kinds of targeted killing that the Israeli security services carried out after previous terror attacks, such as the massacre of Israeli athletes

Following the fall of Roe v. Wade last year, President Biden and anti-Life Democrats have been desperately searching for ways to subvert Pro-Life state laws to continue the destruction of preborn life.[Snip]Pro-Life President Ronald Reagan championed and signed EMTALA into law in 1986 so that vulnerable patients, including pregnant mothers in labor, would receive essential care for themselves and their preborn children.[Snip]But after the Pro-Life Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court ruling, the Biden Administration released new health care guidance on EMTALA stipulating that emergency rooms must offer abortions for a broad range of healthcare reasons, seeking to subvert Pro-Life states’ strong life-saving laws.

The federal government failed to notice an unlicensed bio lab in Reedley, California, which stored many communicable diseases and was created by a fugitive Chinese citizen with close ties to China’s government, according to a congressional report. The report by the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party also said that President Joe Biden’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention spent at least two months ignoring pleas by local officials to examine and contain the disease storehouse. The storehouse contained canisters of deadly viruses and diseases, including Malaria, HIV, tuberculosis, China’s coronavirus, and perhaps, Ebola. The apparent illegal migrant ringleader was finally arrested in October and charged with fraud crimes,

A group of migrants have been forced to move into Boston's Logan Airport as the 'sanctuary city' has run out of beds for them to sleep in. The party of up to 20 people, which includes babies, was seen sleeping underneath blankets on benches on Friday. They arrived in Boston as the Massachusetts shelter cap reached its maximum and there is deadlock over how best to spend $250million for emergency shelters. Those migrants have been put on a waiting list after the state's system for emergency accommodation hit a cap of 7,500 families last week.
