Robert Card, the suspect believed to be responsible for one of Maine’s deadliest mass shootings, has been found dead two days after allegedly killing 18 people at a bowling alley and bar on Wednesday, according to law enforcement sources.
The body of the 40-year-old trained firearms instructor with past mental health issues was located in the woods near Lisbon, where his vehicle and a gun were found after the shooting, according to federal law enforcement sources.
Card was the subject of a massive manhunt in connection to two shootings in Lewiston, Maine’s second-largest city, that erupted Wednesday night.

Dennis Ross is a diplomat who has worked for George H. W. Bush and who served as Middle East envoy for Bill Clinton. He also later worked for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Today he wrote an opinion piece for the NY Times in which he argues that now is not the time for a ceasefire with Hamas.
In the past, I might have favored a cease-fire with Hamas during a conflict with Israel. But today it is clear to me that peace is not going to be possible now or in the future as long as Hamas remains intact and in control of Gaza. Hamas’s power and ability

Houston mayoral candidate and current U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee drew support from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at an event on Friday.
Clinton reassured Houston voters that she believes Jackson Lee is the right woman for the job.
"They will not regret their vote because they will have a mayor who will work 24/7 to do what she has said she will do," Clinton said. There was a bit of commotion during the endorsement when a protester disrupted her speech and had to be escorted out.
Jackson Lee is a frontrunner in the race for mayor alongside Texas state Senator John Whitmire.

The Israel Defense Forces expanded its ground operations in the Gaza Strip on Friday night, an Israeli military officer announced ahead of an expected full-scale invasion of the Hamas-run territory.
“In the last few hours, we expanded the number of airstrikes in Gaza in a very significant way,” IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said of its latest air raids and artillery strikes on northern Gaza. “In addition to the offensive activity we have conducted in recent days, our ground forces are expanding their operations tonight. The IDF is operating in all dimensions in order to accomplish the goals of the war.”

The Israel Defense Forces said Friday they are “expanding ground operations” in Gaza, according to spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, after a large series of explosions rocked Gaza City Friday night local time.
Multiple residents in the enclave told CNN that the evening’s airstrikes were the most intense they had experienced in weeks. And Jawwal, the Palestinian telecom company that provides mobile service to the Gaza Strip, released a statement Friday night saying “the intense bombardment” has destroyed “all remaining international routes connecting Gaza with the outside world.”

U.S. Representative Dean Phillips, the relatively little-known Minnesota Democrat who has announced that he is challenging Joe Biden for president, has long portrayed himself as a moderate voice in Congress and a champion of bipartisanship.
The three-term congressman drives around his district in the western suburbs of Minneapolis in a 1960s-era van he’s dubbed the “Government Repair Truck.” He holds moderated “Common Ground” conversations with Democratic and Republican voters, according to the Star Tribune.

Executives with France-based Michelin announced that they will soon close a tire production plant in Ardmore, Oklahoma, laying off 1,400 American workers in the process. The decision comes as cheap foreign imported tires from low-wage countries flood the United States market.
On Thursday, Michelin executives said they would wind down production at the Ardmore plant. Supporting industries and local businesses are likely to take a hit as well.
The plant has produced passenger tires for more than five decades, dating back to 1970, and it is a vital employer for the community of about 25,000 residents — conveniently situated between Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Dallas, Texas.

The U.S. military conducted strikes against two facilities in eastern Syria used by Iranian-backed groups in retaliation for recent attacks against U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria.
"The United States does not seek conflict and has no intention nor desire to engage in further hostilities, but these Iranian-backed attacks against U.S. forces are unacceptable and must stop," Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement Thursday night. Iranian-backed groups have targeted U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria with a mix of drones and rockets at least 16 times since Oct. 17, according to the Pentagon. The most recent attack took place Thursday in Erbil, Iraq,

RAFAH, Gaza Strip — Israeli troops and tanks briefly raided northern Gaza overnight, the military said Thursday, engaging with Hamas fighters and targeting anti-tank weapons in order to “prepare the battlefield” before an expected ground invasion.
The third Israeli raid since the war began came after more than two weeks of devastating airstrikes that have left thousands dead, and more than 1 million displaced from their homes, in the small, densely-populated territory.
Arab leaders made a joint plea Thursday for a cease-fire to end civilian suffering and allow humanitarian aid into Gaza, where Israel has imposed a suffocating siege ever since Hamas’ rampage and hostage-taking in southern Israel ignited the war.

Ever since the terrorist murderers in Hamas attacked Israel almost three weeks ago, we’ve been witnessing the disgusting spectacle of American college students very vocally condemning Israel, some of which the esteemed VodkaPundit recently chronicled.
For being attacked.
Yes, parents, this is what a small fortune gets you when you send your kids off to have their minds polluted by the leftist filth that controls Academia.
These kids didn’t come out of the womb being virulently anti-Semitic, they had to be conditioned. To be sure, the American public education indoctrination mill helped get them there, but it’s the lunatics in Academia’s ivory towers who are responsible for the finished product.

The electric vehicle industry is barely making it with all the cushy subsidies, grants, and backroom deals… imagine if these car companies were actually forced to manufacture a sellable and profitable product, and produce their own wealth instead of just stealing ours?
Just two days back, a regular AT contributor noted that the Big Three automakers were diminishing E.V. output because, according to The Wall Street Journal, coupled with a “need” to make rechargeable cars more profitable, there is a “slowing demand” for consumers.
Yesterday, Fox News reported on a “sweeping first-of-its-kind” Texas Public Policy Foundation analysis put together by “energy experts” Jason Isaac and Brent Bennett, which revealed
