Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to the press on Saturday, marking his first presser since the deadly Hamas attack on October 7th. He was pressed on a variety of matters, including Israel's goals, Iran's involvement, and his culpability in the original security failure.
Regarding the concern that Israel lacks a clear objective in Gaza, Netanyahu made it clear that the goal is completely defeat Hamas. A common stalking point, including one recently repeated by former Barack Obama NSA Ben Rhode, has been that Israel lacks a clear objective. There isn't much evidence of that, though. Clearly

After investing billions into a green energy agenda mimicking President Joe Biden’s federal rules, American automakers are quickly learning that Americans are not buying electric vehicles (EVs) at the rates they expected.
A comprehensive report in the Detroit Free Press details how the latest data reveals that while the Biden administration is pushing hard for automakers to turn out EVs, car companies are unable to sell the models.
Data from Edmunds.com shows that in September 2022, for example, EVs sat on dealership lots for just 21 days before they were sold. Today, EVs are sitting on dealership lots for 65 days.
Automakers, as Breitbart News reported, are well aware of the issue.

An estimated 100,000 anti-Israel protesters flooded onto the streets of London on Saturday, with some being filmed calling for an “Intifada” against the Jewish state.
The British capital was once again mobbed with pro-Palestine protesters, with numbers matching demonstrations held in London last week during which activists were filmed calling for “Jihad“.
On Saturday, protesters flying a flag saying “fight for revolution”, were filmed chanting: “From London to Gaza, we’ll have an Intifada”.
The term Intifada, which literally translates to “Stone Uprising”, refers to years of violent Palestinian riots against Israel starting in 1987 on the 20th anniversary

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have experienced the heaviest night of Israeli bombardment since the war with Hamas began three weeks ago.
Hamas-run authorities said hundreds of buildings were destroyed in air and artillery strikes, and that at least 377 people were killed in the past day.
Israel's military said its warplanes hit 150 underground targets, including tunnels and other infrastructure.
Tanks and troops also went into the Strip and clashed with Hamas fighters.
The military said some soldiers would remain in the field, as Israel's defence minister declared that the war had entered a "new phase".
Israel began its bombing campaign in Gaza in response to an unprecedented cross-border attack by hundreds of Hamas

One of the few specific requests I publicly posted for Mike Johnson as his vote to be the new Speaker was approaching was for him to commit to separating the three foreign aid requests that Joe Biden and many members of Congress had constructed to force them all together into a “must pass” bill. While I never saw him make that exact promise during the nomination process, it now appears that my wish will be granted. We haven’t seen a specific bill yet, but Johnson’s first move was to pass an endorsement of Israel and a denouncement of Hamas terrorism, which was a good sign. He will also need

The Tree of Life synagogue shooting happened in Pittsburgh, PA on October 27, 2018, exactly five years ago. The anti-Semitic shooter killed 11 people and wounded 6 more. He survived and was tried and convicted for his crimes. Just a few months ago he was given a death sentence.
To his credit, Sen. Bernie Sanders posted a reminder about the attack on his X account. He probably didn’t expect the kind of responses he received. He hadn’t mentioned Israel or Gaza but suddenly lots of people on the left were angry at him: And there were quite a few comments like this one. There are hundreds of tweets like these,

I know you all have been wondering what happened to our Princess of Peeve (interviewed here with co-star Gal Gadot), our winsome wordsmith of Woke wisdom – smug Disney Snow White come to life, Rachel Zegler. Well, she’s world weary of being criticized for being loud and proud. She’s a victim of her own boldness.
…In a quote she provided The Wrap for her feature in its 2023 “Latino Power List,” the actress of Colombian and Polish descent acknowledged “backlash” she has gotten for her “outspokenness.” The statement follow months of backlash the actress received for her comments on how outdated the original animated “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves” was.

The Florida Republican governor, an Iraq War Navy veteran, promised to reboot America’s national security posture with a rebuilt Navy at the heart of the country’s hard power, during his Oct. 27 address at the Washington-based Heritage Foundation’s “Mandate for Leadership” speaking speakers series.
“As Winston Churchill noted, it's important to keep open and active the saltwater highways that make our world tick,” said Ron DeSantis, who served as a legal advisor to Navy SEAL operators in Iraq during his 2007 deployment there.
“To that end, I'm proposing a four oceans Navy, 355 ships by the end of the first term, 385 by the end of the second term, and a

The body of the 40-year-old trained firearms instructor with past mental health issues was located in the woods near Lisbon, where his vehicle and a gun were found after the shooting, according to federal law enforcement sources.
Card was the subject of a massive manhunt in connection to two shootings in Lewiston, Maine’s second-largest city, that erupted Wednesday night.
