On October 7, the day Hamas attacked Israel, Inbal Rabin-Lieberman, a 25-year-old security coordinator at the Kibbutz Nir Am settlement located near the Gaza Strip, saved lives because she had a gun. After the kibbutz came under attack, Inbal hurriedly opened the armory and distributed guns to the twelve-member security team.
She caught the Hamas murderers unawares because they were not expecting to meet armed resistance. Lieberman killed five terrorists while the others gunned down twenty-five before the Israeli Defense Force arrived. Because of her actions, Nir-Am was the only settlement bordering the Gaza Strip that did not suffer Israeli casualties during Hama’s attack.

And Israel is quickly relaxing its very strict gun control regulations. If the victims had possessed guns then there would be many more alive today.

And the upshot here, pun intended, is that had the Hamas butchers known that they'd encounter armed, lethal resistance at Kibbutz Nir Am, they would have skipped it and moved on to the next, much softer target so they could murder unarmed civilians without fear of getting killed themselves.
And just think how the massacre might have gone differently had every Israeli civilian been carrying...
Guns are not just weapons of self-defense...they're also deterrents, and most bad guys, whether simple burglars or psychopathic killers, will skip the hardest targets for the softer ones...every time.

Guns were called by President Washington our "liberty teeth".
And clearly the typical Israeli citizen, are cowed and beaten down, and pretty damned stupid because according to the article “Except during times of heightened terrorism anyone who would possess a firearm without being compelled to do so because of their job (soldier, police officer, etc.) is viewed by the general public as simply being mentally defective. The mental defectives are the people who CANNOT get it through their thick skulls that guns are emergency safety tools, like fire extinguishers and seat belts.
Be armed, be trained, be safe. Look to the Nir-Am settlement as proof. They had a 12 person armed security team and suffered zero deaths when settlements around them were wiped out.

And yet here in the land of the free and home of the brave, despite near 100% gun ownership in the free states, the communists still operate with impunity. They dont fear us because we still have too much to lose.

Re #5, I hate to disabuse you of your information, but few to no states have over 60% gun ownership. Many states have 10-20% gun owners. I'd be willing to bet that no state reaches 100%, sad to say.
I wish you were right.

Re #2, only by tiny, tiny amounts and they still do not allow essentially ANY rifles in the hands of private citizens.

Remember that old saying because it's true. An unarmed man is a subject. An armed man is a citizen.

I can't understand, why, with enemies on all sides, Israel doesn't arm EVERY adult in the country...sort of like Switzerland....they are reaping the harvest of their stupidity....

I’ve known several people of Jewîsh ancestry who look at gun owners as if they had two heads. One suggested to me that I might be part of a “lunatic fringe” because I own firearms. And he’s a retired Army officer.... it’s an odd thing. I refer to them as “of Jewish ancestry” because they’re not Jews anymore - they ‘re liberals. That’s their religion now.

To #10:
While they likely have a healthy dose of Woke-ism, I suspect that part of the reason Israel does not allow private ownership of weapons (except for the 2.6% that get permits for handguns) is that 18% of their population is muslim.
The only way anyone should ever allow a muslim to own a gun, in a civil society, is if they first renounce every passage in the koran that instructs muslims to murder Jews and infidels...maybe make them tear out those pages, sprinkle them with pig's blood, and then set them on fire.
