There are a lot of interesting responses in the United States to the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel. Clearly, the most rational is to be outraged at the rape, kidnapping, and murder of Israeli civilians perpetrated by so-called soldiers of Islam. They are not soldiers or freedom fighters at all; they are savages unbound by any sense of military discipline or duty to the Palestinian people. If they were soldiers, they would consider Israel’s potential responses and the resulting damage to infrastructure and civilian casualties before launching such a cruel attack. We are very right to be outraged.

There is a wonderful option for Israel and America: Destroy Hamas and allied terrorist groups, then wipe out the Mullahs and the Republican Guard.
That's a GREAT option.

Turn northern half of Gaza into a desert and declare it a DMZ. Same with southern Lebanon.

The IDF knows, and we do well to remember, that life is cheap in Islam.
Dying in war is a ticket straight to "paradise." where all that's forbidden now is over-indulged in - forever.
Muslims sell their daughters because poor people cannot borrow money in Islam.
Muslims "honor kill" their women for the "crime" of being raped by a relative.
When Muslim religious leaders get wind that a young man is "sinning" he doesn't try to help him....instead he emotionally blackmails him into becoming a suicide bomber or jihadist.
I really don't know how we can pretend there is any moral equivalence between ourselves and those in Islam.

There was an informative article a couple of days ago on Lucianne that compared Hong Kong to Palestine. There are some comparable points made in these two articles. One of them is the statement made in this article: "The Palestinians are not going elsewhere because none of their Arab neighbors will have them". Too bad they won't consider taking advice from Hong Kong. . .

I do not think Mr Rowe has considered what appears to be Israel’s immediate plans. It seems to be to level northern Gaza, treating all present as militants. While it would be a massive effort, it doesn’t carry the military risk that surgical rooting out of militants (if indeed such distinction can be made). I do agree that options are thin…especially for the 2.5 million Arabs in Gaza whose raison d’être is their Stone Age purpose is to wipe out other cultures. I suggest that that « aid » to Gaza is structured wrong…as it rewards their fighting. Perhaps it would be better if aid were tied to peace. And, fwiw, they have labor rates and skills that would compete well in the world market for production of low cost consumer goods.

The solution is simple: The entire territory of Israel and Judah belongs to Israel! God gave this land to the twelve tribes of Jacob (Israel). The enemies of Israel have always tried to occupy this territory to no avail through God's intervention. In about 135 A.D., the Romans wanted to erase the memory of the Jewish people, so they renamed the land "Palestine" after an ancient enemy of the Jews. Does anyone remember the Greek Philistines? The the British mandate in 1920 reused the name "Palestine" when given authority over the land after WWI. Finally, in 1948, Israel defeated five Arab nations and established (the rebirth of Israel) the modern state of Israel. GEEZE!

That's just wrong. Total destruction of the terrorist enemy is not only a good option, it is the only option.

I think I've found the strategy with the right track record. It's from a poem that was made into a song.
"MIne eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored.
He have loosed the fateful lighting of His terrible swift sword.
His truth is marching on."

It’s half the distance to Iran from Gaza as Venezuela to the United States. Since mass migration is the current fad, should be politically correct migrate 2.1 million Gazan’s (Gazinions?) to Iran.

"How can Israel eventually win the hearts and minds of the Palestinians and eliminate the enmity of the Arab world? "
This is NO LONGER a valid goal, if it ever was. The people living in Gaza (there is no such thing as a "Palestinian") have repeatedly proven they have NO interest in living peacefully with Israel, let alone committing their "hearts and minds".
Israel should level Gaza and turn it into a NO GO zone where NO ONE can live. Any non Israeli military person there is subject to arrest or being killed.
