Moments after thousands of pro-Palestinian protestors descended on the US embassy in Lebanon and set fire, military members unleashed gas and smoke to push them back.
The protests in the Middle East come after a blast at a hospital in Gaza that Hamas claims killed at least 500 people sparked widespread outrage.
Iran-backed Hezbollah, which fought a war with Israel in 2006, called for a day of protest in Beirut on Tuesday in response to the attack.

Horrified doctors stood among a sea of children killed after a massive blast tore through a hospital in Gaza with fears more than 500 people are dead and scores more are trapped under the rubble.
The huge explosion tore through the al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday night while it was being used to treat and shelter thousands of civilians amid the ongoing conflict.
The devastating fireball has sparked a venomous blame game between Hamas and Israel, with both sides blaming armed forces across the border for the destruction and furiously denying it was their fault.

The Biden administration plans to ask Congress for $100 billion in Ukraine and Israel aid, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.
The outlet reported: President Joe Biden is considering a supplemental request of approximately $100 billion that would include defense assistance for Israel and Ukraine alongside border security funding and aid to nations in the Indo-Pacific, including Taiwan, according to people familiar with the matter.
Biden has pledged support for Israel in the wake of the deadly attack earlier this month by Hamas, a group designated by the US and EU as a terrorist organization. Aid for Israel enjoys broad bipartisan support in the US Congress.

Written into that is an even bigger ask. Analysts say Biden must walk a fine line between helping Israel ensure that Hamas terrorists can never repeat of last weekend's murder spree, when they killed at least 1,300 people, without letting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's military operation

Thanks to support from Iran, Hamas is fairly well-armed and, of course, it makes up in viciousness what it lacks in technical sophistication. However, Hamas’s greatest weapon is propaganda. In the latest conflagration, it engaged in a single orgy of killing. Now, though, it’s looking forward to weeks of anti-Israel propaganda that the world’s media will unhesitatingly accept and relay. The latest example is Hamas’s claim that Israel killed 900 innocent people in a Gaza hospital. The story was almost instantly debunked but don’t expect that to change the narrative.

On Tuesday's Morning Joe, Scarborough demanded that Donald Trump be jailed if he violates the gag order issued yesterday by Judge Tanya Chutkan in the federal election interference case. Indeed, the panel's working assumption was that it was a question of when, not if, Trump would violate the order.
They always want the "walls closing in" on Trump.
Scarborough had a long back-and-forth with former US Attorney Chuck Rosenberg, who was the comparative voice of reason. Rosenberg said the situation was complicated, and that Chutkan would have to weigh her options. Where is the rhetorical line Trump shouldn't cross?

The IDF said Tuesday that a hospital blast which reportedly claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians earlier in the day was caused by a misfired rocket launched by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), a terrorist group operating within the Gaza Strip.

According to the Israeli military’s analysis of “operational systems, an enemy rocket barrage was carried out towards Israel, which passed in the vicinity of the hospital, when it was hit,” the statement added.

It never fails that when a conservative public figure, candidate, or elected official holds a presser or sits down for an interview, inevitably they get the "some people say" question from so-called reporters looking for a left-wing angle/narrative to push.
It's gotcha journalism pure and simple, designed to trap the conservative no matter how they answer.
Though Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is one Republican leader here in the United States who is savvy to the media trick and knows how to respond accordingly, unfortunately, he's one of only a few who doesn't let himself fall into these predictable traps.

R Republican Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton sent a letter Monday to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas calling on the agency to deport any foreign nationals, including those on a student visa, who have expressed support for Hamas’ attacks on Israel.
“I write to urge you to immediately deport any foreign national — including and especially any alien on a student visa — that has expressed support for Hamas and its murderous attacks on Israel,” he wrote.

Like most Americans, I was shocked by the vicious inhumanity that the coward terrorist group Hamas carried out in Israel last weekend. Unfortunately, organized evil is neither unique nor surprising. The Nazis were equally evil across Europe, as were the Japanese at Nanking, Stalin with Ukraine, and Mao with his own people. Sadly, evil happens, devils exist, although, thankfully, they are rarely celebrated.
But “rarely” doesn’t mean never, and the most shocking thing last week wasn’t the evil Hamas perpetrated but, rather, the extraordinary support it has received.

Do you think that things have clarified somewhat over the last week since the Hamas massacres in Israel?
I get the feeling that our beloved leaders are caught, just a little, between a rock and a hard place. They would like to equivocate on the Palestinian Question, but the Hamas atrocities make it just a little more difficult. Our leaders like to be on the side of the Left-approved victims, and are embarrassed to support our friends -- like Israel.
And you know what? I couldn't be happier. The harder it becomes for our rulers to support fake victims, the happier it makes me.

Thirty-one Harvard student organizations condemned Israel following the inhuman attack by Hamas Islamic savages.
It took her a few days, but Harvard president Claudine Gay condemned unequivocally the “terrorist atrocities perpetrated by Hamas.” She added in her statement that Harvard “students have the right to speak for themselves.”
While it is good to know that the president of Harvard has moral clarity, it is regrettable that she does not require it of her institution. Gay states the obvious -- that students have a right to speak for themselves. But that’s not the issue. Of course, Harvard students have the same free speech rights as anyone else in America.

Shortly after Hamas began its bloodthirsty campaign against Israel, student groups started issuing statements praising the terrorists and blaming Israel. If you were appalled, you’re not alone. But you’re also helping to pay for it.
At Harvard, 31 student groups made news when they announced that they “hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.” That prompted hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman to call for getting those students’ names so that “none of us inadvertently hire(s) any of their members.” At least a dozen businessmen endorsed Ackman’s call, according to the New York Post.
This was hardly an isolated incident.

Javier Milei, a far-right libertarian leading the polls in Argentina’s presidential election this month, has made a lot of contentious statements in recent years: Humans did not cause climate change; people should be able to sell their organs; his nation’s currency “is not even good as manure.”
But, to many Argentines, he has done something far worse: attacked the pope.
In 2020, Mr. Milei, a self-identifying Catholic, called Pope Francis an “imbecile” and “the representative of the Evil One on earth” because he defends “social justice.”

A resurgence of citizen activism is making waves on Capitol Hill. Conservatives across the United States are rallying behind Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) as he vies for the position of Speaker of the House.
Breitbart News reported that conservatives are “melting” phone lines with calls to GOP members of Congress, urging them to put an end to internal divisions and unite behind Jordan.
“I haven’t seen anything like this in years,” one top House GOP aide told Breitbart News. “They are literally melting the phone lines. Some offices’ numbers are permanently busy. Thousands and thousands of people are calling their members of Congress demanding Jordan for Speaker.”

Fourteen more House Republicans publicly backed Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) as Speaker-designate hours before the House is scheduled to hold a potential vote for Speaker.
As Breitbart News previously reported, 132 House Republicans publicly supported Jordan Monday afternoon. That count swelled to 146 Monday evening with support from Reps. Stephanie Bice, Kevin Kiley, Claudia Tenney, Rob Wittman, Lance Gooden, Mike Gallagher, Cliff Bentz, Pete Sessions, Diana Harshbarger, Rick W. Allen, Frank Lucas, Michael McCaul, John Joyce, and Hal Rogers. The number of 146 lawmakers supporting Jordan is likely less than the actual number who support Jordan.

President Biden will travel to Israel on Wednesday in a dramatic show of solidarity with the Jewish state, which is still reeling from a surprise attack by Hamas terrorists earlier this month.
The trip comes ahead of Israel’s expected ground invasion of the Hamas-ruled Gaza in an effort to wipe out the organization and as the U.S. ramps up efforts with Middle East allies to avoid a humanitarian crisis.
White House National Security spokesperson John Kirby told reporters late Monday that Mr. Biden’s one-day trip will also include a stopover in Jordan, where the president will also include a meeting

Iran has warned it could be forced to take 'pre-emptive action' against Israel in the 'coming hours' as the Jewish nation prepares for a ground offensive on the Gaza strip.
Tehran has repeatedly warned that an invasion of Gaza would be met with a response from other fronts - after a day where Israel also faced threats from Lebanon in the north.
The declarations of intent have rapidly heightened tensions in the fraught Middle East, sparking fears of a wider conflict in the coming days.

A Cornell University professor was caught on camera telling students Hamas’ terror attack on Israel — which has left more than 1,400 dead — was “exhilarating” and “energizing.”
The remarks were made at a pro-Palestine protest by Russell Rickford, an associate professor of history at the top-tier Ithaca, New York school and posted online Sunday by a student who called them “shameful.” The footage of Rickford’s impassioned speech was also shared with The Post by two other tipsters. They declined to say when and where exactly the rally took place, but both said they were shocked by the brazen remarks.

The Taliban jihadist regime in Afghanistan sent its Industry and Commerce Minister Nooruddin Azizi to Beijing on Monday to attend this week’s “Belt and Road Forum,” a celebration of ten years of China’s global predatory lending scheme.
The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is nominally a program run by the Chinese Communist Party that offers poor nations funding to invest in otherwise unaffordable road, port, and railway projects, allegedly designed to help those countries become more competitive economically and ship their exports more efficiently. China offers funding in the form of high-interest loans with a long list of conditions attached, which later erode the sovereignty of the countries involved.

BBC staff in London say they fear walking outside alone after being harassed by the Iranian authorities, with British counter-terrorism police warning of an increased security threat.
The Guardian has been told that journalists at the BBC’s Persian language news outlet are being targeted with offensive messages and threats of sexual assault, with reports of family members based in Iran being arbitrarily detained.
In one message, an Iranian-British journalist working for the BBC says she was told: “On Westminster Bridge is a very deep river. It doesn’t matter that you don’t live in Iran – we can also do whatever we want in London.”
She says: “I left my country
