President Biden will travel to Israel on Wednesday in a dramatic show of solidarity with the Jewish state, which is still reeling from a surprise attack by Hamas terrorists earlier this month.
The trip comes ahead of Israel’s expected ground invasion of the Hamas-ruled Gaza in an effort to wipe out the organization and as the U.S. ramps up efforts with Middle East allies to avoid a humanitarian crisis.
White House National Security spokesperson John Kirby told reporters late Monday that Mr. Biden’s one-day trip will also include a stopover in Jordan, where the president will also include a meeting

I don't care if he goes. I assume he thinks this will somehow prove his vitality. It's his coming back that sucks.

This kind of travel plan is revealed to the public ONLY after the return, unless the objective is to put the man in harm's way.

Good. That will keep him occupied and away from a microphone for a few days. Every time he opens his stuttering mouth, our status in the world falls a little lower.

If only he could have gone to Hawaii and other disaster areas in the US just as quickly. Same with the $$ billions in financial aide.

This is the last thing Israel needs, a fool telling them what to do, and you know he will, and they don't need to babysit the fool when he can't find his way back out the way he came in. And leave the personal stories in DC they don't need to hear about the sainted Beau, in fact just stay in the basement and do us all a favor! MAGA

Photo op. Nothing more. Israel doesn’t need him taking up their time and we don’t need to be flying AF1into a war zone. There’s nothing that he can do there that cannot be done on a secure visual conference call. This is all about him trying to boost his poll numbers. How I loathe him!

Please spare us from any more pictures of Biden. I cannot bear it. That goes for Blinken and the Sec of Defense, whose name is not worth remembering.

Perhaps you could stop in Gaza first, Mr. “President.”

Take him to the Nevada desert, put towels on the heads of a couple of secret service agents and take his picture. He will not know the difference and Israel has better things to do.

Netenyahu invited him, if nothing else he will serve as a human shield during whatever few hours he is there, "Maybe" hamas and hezbollah will stop sending rockets during those hours.
More likely though they will launch many more...perhaps not while Biden is in Israel, but while he is in Jordan or Egypt. and the leaders and media will insist that he call on Israel to STOP retaliating immediately.
What will he do if Syria or Iran bombs the Israeli runways prior to his arrival the same way Syria's runways were bombed prior to Iran's leaders arrival? Or hit AFTER he has arrived, trapping him there?

Thanks for the laugh, #16. I'm pretty sure you're right. Or, even simpler.....buy the Doofus a dozen bagels at the local deli and tell him he purchased them while he was in Israel. He won't have a clue and it will be much cheaper and safer for the rest of us.
