Joe Biden did not have a good talking day on Wednesday, even by Joe Biden standards, which are already a low bar.
It was a banner day for bad remarks from Biden in Israel and on his way back to the U.S.
First, when he met for a photo op with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu, Biden blanked out as he was trying to tell him a story. Then Biden also said it appeared it was "done by the other team" to Netanyahu, as though the war were a football game. But he also didn't name the "other team" -- Hamas -- in this

When a hospital in the Gaza Strip blew up on Tuesday night, U.S. and international news media uncritically reported Hamas terrorists' claims of an Israeli massacre. The White House and Israel have since refuted that account, citing imagery, intercepts, and open-source information. Many of the same outlets have obsessed over the spread of "misinformation" in recent years yet created their own by parroting Hamas during a war the terror group savagely provoked with Israel.
The journalistic fiasco was an example of the media's tendency to adopt the Palestinians' narrative about the conflict with Israel, even when that narrative is unsupported by the facts.

The French have an expression: when you want to determine who committed a crime, answer the question: A qui profite le crime?—Who profits from the crime? In the case of the explosion at a Gaza hospital, Hamas reaped a major PR profit. And MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace and correspondent Raf Sanchez did their part to help out during Tuesday evening's Deadline: White House. Denunciations of Israel for its alleged responsibility were ringing out across the Arab world and beyond, demonstrations at US embassies, etc. President Biden's visit to Israel and the region has come under a cloud. Jordan canceled a summit at which Biden was scheduled to meet with Jordanian

Representative Don Bacon (R-NE) said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) should withdraw from the speaker race because he will not get the votes.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “In fact, Jordan is doing worse than he did yesterday. He had fewer votes than he did yesterday. A spokesman for Jordan said he’s not dropping out. We’re going to “keep going.” Do you see Jordan getting to 217 any time soon, or do you think he will keep doing worse and worse?”
Bacon said, “I believe he’s done. He needs to withdraw from this. He’s going to lose more votes tomorrow. I know it.

It looks like another company found out the hard way that prioritizing politics over the company's own product and culture is a great way to suddenly find yourself with a bad reputation and a shallow pool of money to boot.
Victoria's Secret has now figured out that being political isn't good for business, and is now pushing away its hyper-feminist message after it resulted in a "significant revenue drop," according to Fox News. Instead, it's now going to move back to being the sexy lingerie it's known for:
As such, it has looked to revamp itself and bring back "sexiness," the outlet noted in a piece

On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House,” New York Times Pentagon Correspondent Helene Cooper stated that the early Times headline, “Israeli Strike Kills Hundreds in Hospital, Palestinians Say” wasn’t perfect, but the headline wasn’t any different from other headlines that quote the statements of American officials.
After Cooper noted that American officials feel confident the blast was caused by a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket, NBC National Security Analyst and former Chief of Staff to the heads of the Pentagon and CIA Jeremy Bash stated that the uproar in the Arab world was caused by headlines blaming Israel for the blast that weren’t backed up by facts and

Interstellar star Jessica Chastain is pleading with the public for help to find credible news sources after the New York Times and Washington Post “rushed to conclusion” in response to the Gaza hospital blast on Tuesday.
“Is there ANY place that I can get accurate news? We are living in a dark time when giants like @nytimes and @washingtonpost rush to conclusions in trying to keep pace with social media,” Chastain wrote in a social media post on Wednesday.
“Social media is not a credible news source. Please folks guide me to a place where I can get well sourced information,” the Zero Dark Thirty star added.

Representative Jim Jordan (R., Ohio) failed to secure the speaker’s gavel for the second time in a Wednesday afternoon vote that saw Republican support for the hardline Ohio lawmaker shrink slightly from where it stood on the first ballot.
With the entire Democratic caucus falling in line behind House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Jordan could only afford to lose a handful of Republican votes after 20 GOP holdouts voted against him on Tuesday, costing him the gavel on the first ballot.
Jordan’s team appears to have lost ground since then, as 22 House Republicans voted against the party’s nominee in Wednesday’s vote. Representative Pete Stauber (R., Minn.) switched his allegiances

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — President Joe Biden vowed to show the world that the U.S. stands in solidarity with Israel during his visit there Wednesday, and offered an assessment that the deadly explosion at a Gaza Strip hospital that prompted mass protests in Arab nations apparently was not carried out by the Israeli military. “Based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you,” Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a meeting. But he said there were “a lot of people out there” who weren’t sure what caused the blast, which sparked protests throughout the Middle East.

Yesterday, we reported that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis cut through the red tape to rescue Floridians stranded in Israel. What we didn’t know is that he’s also planning to pick up non-Floridian Americans, as well as those Joe Biden dumped in Greece. On Monday night, DeSantis told Megyn Kelly, “We knew there’d be people that wanted to get back, many hundreds, maybe even more than 1,000. And they were not getting any luck with the State Department or with the embassy. So I did an executive order last week, activating Florida emergency response to be able to bring planes in there and take people back home.”

John Kirby, the White House’s National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, told reporters aboard Air Force Once en route to Israel on Tuesday evening that President Joe Biden would have “tough questions” for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when they met Wednesday morning.
Biden’s trip was intended to show solidarity for Israel in its war against the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, which attacked Israel without provocation Oct. 7 and murdered 1,400 peoople.
But after Palestinians — and their allies — blamed Israel for an explosion at a hospital in Gaza City that reportedly killed hundreds of people, Biden appeared to be taking a different stance,
