With the commencement of an impeachment inquiry this week, the House of Representatives is moving the Biden corruption scandal into the highest level of constitutional inquiry. After stonewalling by the Bidens and federal agencies investigating various allegations, the move for a House inquiry was expected if not inevitable.
An impeachment inquiry does not mean that an impeachment itself is inevitable. But it dramatically increases the chances of finally forcing answers to troubling questions of influence-peddling and corruption.
As expected, many House Democrats — who impeached Donald Trump after only one hearing in the House Judiciary Committee, based on his phone call to Ukraine’s president — oppose any such inquiry into President Biden.

ABC News reported that Hunter was charged with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer, and one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.
The first of the three charges — the one centered on giving a false statement — relates to Hunter allegedly lying on a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) background check form.

Unfortunately, a lot of the media either is completely under the thrall of the Democrats or is asleep at the switch when it comes to holding Joe Biden accountable for anything he does.We saw on Wednesday how the White House thinks that they can control the media by sending out a "talking points" memo about how they should apply "scrutiny" to the Republican impeachment inquiry into Biden. As I noted, they had some media, like a reporter from Politico, basically parroting the propaganda they were putting out—not even questioning it—just turning around and putting it out on X.
But the White House doesn't control everyone,
United States Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, an ardent proponent of electric vehicles (EVs), admitted he has trouble finding reliable electric vehicle charging stations while he is traveling on the road.
Buttigieg complained to the Wall Street Journal about public EV charging stations as President Joe Biden’s administration launched an effort to revamp the more than 6,000 charging stations that are “temporarily unavailable.”
“We’ve definitely had that experience,” Buttigieg said about pulling into EV charging stations, only to realize they are out of service. “Matter of fact, had it just a few days ago at a park in town.”
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) isn’t high on Kamala Harris as vice president, and her recent remarks might have revealed how most Democrats feel about the other half of the 2024 ticket. The California liberal and former House Speaker even went so far as to insinuate that her true feelings wouldn’t matter, as the office of the VP doesn’t do much. Technically, that is true, as most times, we don’t have to worry about the VP since the president usually can do the job. Biden cannot—and it’s a bit alarming thinking about Harris in charge and control of the nuclear arsenal (via Fox News):

In response to Democratic New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s effort to infringe on Second Amendment rights as though she were the ultimate authority, more than 100 protesters openly carried firearms Sunday in a rally in Albuquerque. Remember it because their strategy might need to be used again to thwart the COVID tyrants.
Grisham, acting every bit the dictator, issued late last week an emergency order in which she suspended “open and concealed carry laws in Bernalillo County,” where the capital Albuquerque is located, for 30 days. The order is “aimed” – a curious word choice on her part – “at quickly reducing gun violence.”
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi conceded Joe Biden may drop out of the 2024 race - then smirked, laughed and dodged the question when asked if she thinks Kamala Harris should run to be re-elected as vice president.
Worryingly for the president, Pelosi also gave an evasive answer when pressed about whether his career willl continue until 2024 and beyond.
Asked if she thought 'there's any chance (Biden) does not continue running,' Pelosi gave a less-than-definitive: 'I hope not, I hope not.'
WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump will give his first broadcast network interview since leaving office, sitting down this week with Kristen Welker as she debuts as host of NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday.
The network said in a release that the interview will be pre-taped at Trump’s Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club Thursday and that the same invitation had been extended to President Joe Biden. Trump last appeared on the show in 2019.

Atlanta, GA—Georgia Governor Brian Kemp officially declared a state of emergency today due to high inflation and poor economic conditions in the state stemming from bad economic policies coming out of Washington, D.C. In his declaration, Kemp said he is temporarily suspending the state’s excise tax on motor and locomotive fuel. The suspension of the tax took effect at midnight this morning and will go through October 12th, 2023. This move will save everyone buying gas in Georgia approximately 29 cents per gallon. Kemp has suspended the state's gas tax before, and that suspension lasted for 10 months when it was in effect from March to December of 2022.
