A rising Republican star tipped by many to be Donald Trump's running mate should he win the presidential nomination has been involved in a clandestine affair for years, multiple sources tell DailyMail.com.
Married South Dakota governor Kristi Noem, 51 – who stresses her belief in 'family values' – and Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski, who is also married, began carrying on in 2019, if not before.
Now news of the relationship threatens to wreck Noem's chances of joining Trump's ticket in a potential rematch with President Joe Biden.

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Ford President and CEO Jim Farley stated that he’s not opposed to giving workers pay increases, “But if it prevents us from investing in this transition to EVs and in future products like the ones we have now like a new F-150,” they won’t do that because they’ll go bankrupt.
While discussing the pay raises demanded by the UAW in negotiations and pay raises for CEOs, Farley said that they have offered pay raises and are open to big pay increases, but the 40% that the UAW is asking for is too much and would put the company out of

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) is looking into opening taxpayer-funded, city-owned grocery stores in areas in which businesses have pulled out due to rampant crime.
Johnson announced a partnership with the Economic Security Project to look into the possibility of opening city-owned grocery stores. The first step in the partnership will be to perform a feasibility study, but the city did not provide a timeline, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Johnson claimed his administration is “committed to advancing innovative, whole-of-government approaches to address these inequities.”

At this point, the people in power behind the scenes at the White House have to be pulling their hair out over this question: How do you solve a problem like Joe Biden?
As I wrote on Thursday, among the bad things he said were weird comments about Gov. Wes Moore's biceps and a racist comment about "African Americans, Hispanic workers, and veterans" as "you know, the workers without high school diplomas."
He also just can't stop making things up and telling bizarre falsehoods. People trying to be charitable sometimes refer to these fantasies as trying to relate to their audience. But when you are falsely stealing an aspect

Former Vice President Mike Pence said he'd be open to having a female vice president- but wouldn't say if he'd dine with her alone.
Pence appeared at a town hall with Leland Vittert on NewsNation Wednesday and was asked about his much-talked-about deal the Republican struck with his wife Karen to never dine alone with another woman.
Vittert then asked if that same rule would apply with a woman vice president - as presidents and vice presidents often have official lunches as part of their schedule.

Every book published prior to 2008 has been removed from a public high school library in Canada to ensure that kids are not exposed to non-inclusivity. Yes, you read that correctly. Imagine the surprise of students at Erindale Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario, when they entered the school's library last spring to discover...empty shelves. Staff told them, "If the shelves look emptier right now it's because we have to remove all books [published] prior to 2008."
Why? Because "The Peel District School Board works to ensure that the books available in our school libraries are culturally responsive, relevant, inclusive,

Wednesday's Cabinet meeting was most interesting. After a minute of introduction, President Biden turned the meeting over to his wife Jill, who continued to run it. This allows us a glimpse into the Democrat presidential strategy for 2024: run Jill Biden.
In order for Jill to win the Democrat nomination for president, she needs to do several important things:
1. Box out Kamala Harris, Michelle Obama, and Gavin Newsom.
2. Maintain DNC support for Joe.
3. Keep Democrat contributors in line.
4. Do more and more of the president's job now.

A union representing nearly 150,000 autoworkers launched a strike early Friday morning against the Big 3 U.S. automakers -- General Motors, Ford and Stellantis.
The United Auto Workers, or UAW, and the car manufacturers failed to reach a contract agreement before a deadline set by the union for Thursday at 11:59 p.m. ET. Less than two hours before the deadline, UAW president Shawn Fain announced the plants where union members would strike if a tentative agreement wasn't reached in time. By midnight Friday, that amounted to approximately 12,700 union workers, including ones at GM in Wentzville, Missouri; Stellantis in Toledo, Ohio; and Ford’s Wayne, Michigan plant.

1. Another Bush Republican Bites the Dust
The continuing purge of the dead wood that is the post-Reagan establishment “conservative” political class continues apace, though at a ferociously slow rate that threatens the future of the nation.
Mitt Romney has finally gotten the message:
U.S. Senator Mitt Romney will not seek reelection in 2024, capping a roller-coaster ride through Republican politics from the height of his party’s 2012 presidential nomination to the depths of tribal warfare in the age of Donald Trump.
Casting aside the hopes and appeals of colleagues, including Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, the 76-year-old

Beauty products giant Dove is facing calls for a boycott after it partnered with a morbidly obese Black Lives Matter activist and hate hoaxer who wrecked a white University of Virginia student’s life over a “racist” comment that she later acknowledged was “misheard” in the latest example of a major corporate brand that has been burned by wokeness.
Apparently, the geniuses in Dove’s marketing department were unaware of the backlash that cost Bud Light and Target billions of dollars in market value earlier this year when they rolled out Zyahna Bryant for a “fat liberation” campaign despite her history of making false racial accusations.

Personal care brand Dove is facing a boycott after partnering with Black Lives Matter and “fat liberation” activist Zyahna Bryant, who ruined a white UVA student’s life in 2020 over a “misheard” remark. Now, #BoycottDove is trending on X/Twitter.
Dove recently partnered with Bryant — who spread a false rumor about a fellow University of Virginia (student) in 2020 — in a new and bizarre campaign to promote “fat liberation,” a move that resulted in the hashtag “#BoycottDove” to trend on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Striking Hollywood actors and writers escalated their war with the studios this week, participating in a joint march in Los Angeles that clogged the streets of the Hollywood neighborhood as protestors marched Tuesday from Netflix offices to the historic Paramount lot.
Meanwhile, the actors union fired off an acrimonious salvo, accusing the studios and streamers of refusing to return to the bargaining table, with SAG-AFTRA leadership calling executives “petty tyrants.”
The escalation is the latest sign that the historic strikes that have brought most of the industry to a standstill won’t be resolved any time soon. With little leverage to work with, and even less public goodwill,
