Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on federal gun charges out of Special Counsel David Weiss' investigation.
Biden was charged with making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm; making a false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer; and one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.

Don't be distracted by the misdirection. Hunter's degenerate lifestyle is not the point. The only story that matters is Hunter as the Big Guy's bagman.

OK. Now they 'rigging' starts, you can bet.
Now he'll plead guilty, get a two days suspended sentence, three weeks of "parole" and it will be over, and nobody can ever give him the year or two in prison that anyone else would get for the same thing.

1) Look for additional Trump indictments to offset the publicity,
2) DOJ will now claim that they cannot comment on anything due to open case.
Just in time for impeachment inquiry, conveniently.

This "indictment" means nothing!! It is simply a show put on to appease The House. Democrats ACTUALLY DO BELIEVE that we, The American People, are exactly this STUPID.

There will be a plea bargain. He won't serve a day behind bars. Meanwhile, this will take attention off the real issue - how deeply was his father involved in his international influence peddling deals?

His lawyers probably told him this was a necessary evil to deflect attention from the big guy. But , Hunter, not to worry, we will get you a dream deal
and a little bitty slap on the wrist, and it’ll all be over. We have to do this, Hunter, because this charge has absolutely no connection to your Daddy, but still makes it look like we’re doing our job no no political bias and there is no weaponization of our judicial system. You do understand this is for the greater good, don’t you?

Big deal, this is the least of what he should be charged with. This is a slap on the hand offense :(

Weiss is ineligible to be a special counsel because he works in the government and SC’s are required to come from outside the gov’t. HB’s lawyers get case thrown out because of this and he walks

So this Crackhead pleads guilty to a felon Gets a minor slap on the wrist. Serves 10 days in Club Fed and still gets to ride on AF1. Probably the first convicted federal felon to ever fly on AF1. And he still gets to cut those sweetheart deals with foreign dictators. What a blessed life Crackhead Hunter has.

Sounds right, #7. How convenient that they decided to pursue the ONLY charge that absolutely positively CANNOT be linked to Joe. Hunter will have to endure the wrist slap all on his own. Because it's a 1st offense, though, all penalties will be waived on the condition he checks into a treatment center and straightens out his life. Jill & Joe will hold a Hillary-style Pretty in Pink media event where they'll reveal to Oprah how they've voluntarily begun therapy to demonstrate they unconditional love---learning how to stop enabling Hunter and his bizarre behavior. Sigh. Everyone's so wonderful.
Maybe they'll announce the construction of the Beau Biden Center for Substance Abuse and/or cancer. Poor Joe, you know.

A hard 7 days at Club Fed, maybe, and a month of probation, that will be Hunter's punishment.

Gun charges are a distraction. The bribery and coercion mess that involved his dad with Ukraine officials is the relevant matter. The Bidens are cornered by some growling dogs, and this is an effort to distract them with a little doggie treat. We can count on the mainstream news media to zoom in on that tidbit to take our attention away from the international bribery and quid pro quo offenses. Will any of them refuse to be distracted? My gut tells me not a chance... Everybody from Fox, leftward (including Fox) will happily join the misdirection shuck and jive.

I personally have a real problem with Hunter getting a slap on the wrist for this crime. As an attorney, or former attorney, as may be his case, he (Hunter) has to be held to a higher standard than a layperson. Any right thinking judge, or jury, would give Hunter the harshest penalty allowed by law in order to set an example for other attorneys who think themselves above that particular law. It's the right thing to do.
