I’m a public school parent. I shouldn’t have to spend my time fighting these violent, bigoted extremists.
On August 22, a text popped up on my phone: “They made it here.” A terrified friend who works at Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) headquarters in downtown LA was pinging me, panicked about the members of the anti-LGBTQ Leave Our Kids Alone coalition (LOKA) who had gathered to march on an LAUSD board meeting.

I kept my sons out of government schools specifically to avoid commies like Daisy who are obsessed with torturing European-American boys into hating themselves. Liberalism is a hate crime.

That article is written from the perspective that her (I assume it's a her) view is the only view that matters and every other view is a threat. She is unable to comprehend that her view is one of many views. She speaks of public education as if it's her education. As if the public has no role in it whatsoever. She's entirely clueless.

Just came across something that I want to share: "It matters not if the world has heard or approves or understands. The only applause we're meant to seek is that of nail-scarred hands."
Can you imagine if something of this nature was said in the public schools? For crying out loud, when my child was asked to bring favorites for birthday celebration, the "Jesus Loves Me" book was conveniently overlooked. Why did they ask then?
Double standards all around. . .

Terrified by parents showing up at school board meetings to protect their kids.
How did she feel when BLM and Antifa trashed cities to protect their interests?

As an LAUSD parent, my hope is that anti–public education, anti-LGBTQ groups will never breach the district’s inclusive walls, either literally or figuratively.
breach the district’s Inclusive walls. . . Now, there's an oxymoron.

Before Obama became president, we were mocked as paranoid and delusional for pointing out that this situation was among the goals of the LGBT movement. Today we’re called “violent” and “bigoted” as well as “naughtsees” for not accepting it. What’s left for them to call us paranoid about today? We’ll be expected to accept it tomorrow.

What you need to put the fear in them are LOKA parents who are Muslim.

Let Daisy establish a school for promulgating her religion, which clearly conflicts with biblical revelation and biological reality. The Left championed the non-establishment clause of the First Amendment when they thought it was protecting them from government making them Christian or Jew. But now that gender ideology has become their religion, they want to force that religion on to everybody else.
Hysteria and hypocrisy are two tragic tendencies of fallen human nature...

"Inclusiveness" only goes so far to the left. Homosexual groomers, trans activists, and any other sicko--A-OK. Any thought that disagrees with the left-wing narrative is derided as "hate speech," "racism," "homophobia," and so on and so on.

From a U.S. News and World Report article that used the data from the LASUD website:
In Los Angeles Unified School District, 43% of elementary students tested at or above the proficient level for reading, and 36% tested at or above that level for math. Also, 40% of middle school students tested at or above the proficient level for reading, and 31% tested at or above that level for math. And 51% of high school students tested at or above the proficient level for reading, and 24% tested at or above that level for math
he student body at the schools served by Los Angeles Unified School District is 10.5% White, 7.6% Black, 5.9% Asian or Asian/Pacific Islander, 73.6% Hispanic/Latino, 0.1% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.2% Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander. In addition, 2% of students are two or more races, and 0% have not specified their race or ethnicity.
Maybe they should concentrate on teaching reading and math.
They are FAILING people of color in a major way, but this topic is their highest concern?

If this pervert is scared that a group of parents might protest, then stop pushing this agenda. Parents aren't going to put up with much more of this.

Good news if these dangerous folks are scared. They are harming children and should fear retribution for their evil. They deserve retribution, and they know it.

What an utterly ridiculous bunch of leftist drivel. Note the extreme-left talking points: The parents' groups are not parents concerned about their children. They are anti-public education, anti-LTBQ+ extremists. "But the air of implied violence that surrounds these groups, while alarming, is not the most important aspect of the group. LOKA, for instance, is one tiny piece of a bigger puzzle." I actually had a hard time choosing this article since there are so many outrageous leftist screeds out there today.
