President Joe Biden told reporters Sunday that he had “no home to go to,” citing that as the reason he was spending another night at his vacation house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Biden seemed a little defensive about his presence at the popular seaside destination, particularly following criticism he received for sunning on the beach in Delaware in the immediate aftermath of the deadly Maui wildfires.
“By the way, the reason I’m here today, just for one day — I know you think I’m on vacation, I’m not. I have no home to go to,” Biden told reporters, apparently unprompted,

First lady Jill Biden tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday and President Biden’s test results have come back negative, according to the White House.
Jill Biden, 72, is “currently experiencing only mild symptoms,” her communications director Elizabeth Alexander said in a statement. “She will remain at their home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware,” Alexander added.
Joe Biden, 80, was administered a COVID-19 test Monday night following the first lady’s positive test, according to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
“The President tested negative. The President will test at a regular cadence this week and monitor for symptoms,” Jean-Pierre said in a statement.

Back in June, the ACLU lamented that the state of Florida did not provide "medically necessary gender-affirming care" to Duane Owen before he was executed. The ACLU is at it again coming to the defense of a male inmate who claims to be transgender, this time in Indiana. (X's) The latest lamentation about transgender inmates is just as tone deaf as the one from earlier this year. North Korea may supply Russia with more weaponry for its war in Ukraine and other military cooperation, it has emerged.
Kim Jong-un plans to travel to Russia this month to hold a 'leader-level diplomatic engagement' with Vladimir Putin, the New York Times reported on Monday, citing US and allied sources.
Officials say Kim - who rarely travels outside his country - is likely to travel this month to Vladivostok, on Russia's Pacific coast not far from North Korea, to meet with Putin.

Truth Social might be in a bit of trouble. And when I say a bit of trouble, I mean the platform could be shutting down altogether if the stars do not align. The company, established in October 2021, is reportedly on the brink of collapse due to its troubles merging with Digital World Acquisition Corp.
The platform was meant to become a tech behemoth worth up to $1.7 billion. But with the deal in jeopardy, this might not come to fruition:
When former president Donald Trump’s media start-up announced in October 2021 that it planned to merge with a Miami-based company called Digital World Acquisition, the deal was an instant stock-market hit.

Republican Strategist John Thomas, the FOUNDER of the DeSantis Super PAC just went on News Nation and dropped a bomb! Thomas told News Nation that DeSantis lacks all of the qualities that make a good candidate – charm, charisma, discipline, being likeable – and he is now backing Trump.
John Thomas: I, along with a lot of grassroots supporters and major donors, said, okay, let’s draft DeSantis, encourage him to run for president, because we think he’s got the stuff.
Except there was one problem, Adrian. It’s that when Governor DeSantis did end up launching, he had a failure to launch, and he’s never recovered.

Those of us who have been paying attention since January of 2021 have all seen the ongoing deterioration of President Biden, and it's a matter of some concern for everyone, be they Left, Right, or center, that the man who supposedly sits at the levers of power in Washington is not all he should be. (I would argue that he's not even within shouting distance of where he should be.)
With Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the political mix for the 2024 presidential election, there is nothing normal about our politics or this campaign season. Almost no question is too crazy to ask.

Until recently there had been an Ace hardware just a couple miles from his house but earlier this year that store closed. Usually, stores don’t announce why they are closing but my friend said he believed they were having problems with retail theft.

Ho hum, nothing to see here. It appears that she is currently playing a key role in orchestrating a systematic scheme to manipulate election outcomes,

An essential part of the rule of law in a civilized country is a criminal justice system that follows the law. After all, if the criminal justice system is lawless, why should anyone else act lawfully? And if you’re a prosecutor, one of the most important parts of lawful conduct is that you don’t indict people you know are innocent. That brings us to Fani Willis, the prosecutor in Fulton County, Georgia, who has indicted not only Trump but also his lawyers and supporters, all of whom looked at the bizarre election night county and concluded that there was a problem.

Based on the wretched 2020 election experience, Democrats are viewed by many Republicans as election cheats. There's the suitcases, the boarded up windows, the mysterious shutdowns, the water pipe breaks, the trucks going from state to state, the ballot-harvesting, the phony registrations...

Biden, 80, announced in late April his bid for a second term with Vice President Kamala Harris – but questions have emerged in the last year over whether the President is too old or too unfit to serve for four more years.

This Labor Day, the new buzz is about balancing work with life.
It comes at a time when fewer people are employed than before the pandemic, and many of those who are employed are gaming the system by “working” from home in their PJs while surfing the internet and doing house work (oops, no, they pay others to clean their house). Productivity figures still lag pre-pandemic times.
Weirdly, they think even their part-time, disengaged, goal-less so-called work, in the absence of any accountability or supervision, is too much. It interferes with what they call life.

Americans are increasingly worried that the U.S. economy is on the verge of going belly up, and given the fact that prices are still up across the board, their worries may be justified.
But when you combine those worries with their belief that President Joe Biden is too old to handle that or any other crisis, the president's 2024 re-election bid looks ugly. According to a new poll from the Wall Street Journal, that's exactly what Biden is up against, too.

A new Texas law recently went into effect that would impose further consequences on drunk drivers. The legislation, known as Bentley’s Law, mandates that individuals who kill a child’s parents because they were driving while intoxicated will be liable for paying child support.

We often hear Democrats try to smear Republicans as "Nazis," even though the core principle of Republicanism -- at least as I see it -- is individual rights, the value of the individual. That's not exactly a Nazi value. Indeed, in addition to being horrible human beings, Nazis were socialists, it's in the name ("National Socialism"), something the left likes to conveniently forget and argue away.
However, on Saturday, there was a march of Neo-Nazi groups in Altamonte Springs, Florida. They called it a "Red Shirts" rally. Rep. Anna Eskamani (D-FL) posted a video of the march where participants chanted, "We are everywhere!" She, of course, called them "far-right."

Within minutes after the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol Hill riot began, the Democrats, the corporate media, and countless progressive law professors unanimously declared that it was an “insurrection.” Inevitably, they accused then-President Trump of inciting this purported uprising in order to overthrow the 2020 election. Most Americans, however, saw the mayhem merely as a protest that devolved into a riot. Then the other shoe dropped. The people promoting the “insurrection” narrative developed an intense interest in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which disqualifies anyone from holding public office at the federal or state level if they have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States.”
