Mexico’s pro-migration government is threatening to retaliate against Florida’s pro-American governor, Ron DeSantis, whose campaign-trail border policies are putting him on a collision course with Mexico’s president.
“The Government of Mexico emphatically condemns the practice of transporting migrant persons from states bordering Mexico toward other parts of the United States with electoral and political ends … Legal and diplomatic measures will be explored,” said the June 8 statement from Mexico’s foreign ministry. DeSantis’s campaign promises — and his flights of migrants to California — pose a growing political threat to the pro-migration policies

I'm sorry, but who are they to comment on what is done in this country, and why should anyone care what they think?

Easy solution: Keep your "migrant persons" on your side of the border, Mr. Mexican president.

As I consider DeSantis’ response to this, Monty Python comes to mind.

The country of US emphatically condemns the practice of transport of migrants from states bordering Mexico toward parts of the United States. So does the UN.

Presumably stated with the approval and support from the Democrats and the Biden administration.

Two middle fingers to Mexico.
And, at some point, I think that air strikes on selected cartel locations will be required.

Mexico has never been a friend to the US. Its our economic and military power that has kept Mexico in check.

What this amounts to is the Mexican Government interfering in the upcoming US Presidential election. Clearly the Biden Administration is so weak on borderline and illegal immigration issues, that the Mexicans now believe that they have the ability and right to redefine US borderline and immigration laws to the benefit of Mexicans and Mexico as long as Mexico goes along with the 101% politically partisan Biden and the leftist Democrat political agenda.
That was bound to occur since about 20% of the Mexican population is now in the USA either as illegal aliens or legally as immigrants. As these issues continue and get worse, don’t be surprised if the Mexican Government does not petition the United Nations (UN) sometime in the future to remove what is now the US Southwest, including Texas through California from US national jurisdiction, and place that area and population under the national jurisdiction of Mexico. It’s not at all clear that a future Democrat U.S. President such as Biden would disagree with such a international borderline realignment ordered by the UN if he thought it would buy him some future votes from Mexicans living in the USA either illegally or legally.

Mexico does not dictate USA policy, nor it's own for that matter! Mexico caves its sovereignty to its cartels. The USA has not totally given up to lawlessnes.

What's he going to do? Cut off tequila sales to Florida?
A previous poster mentioned that Mexico has never been a friend to the US. True. One of my gggrandfathers fought in the war with Mexico in 1846 and some of us remember the "Zimmerman Telegram" that exposed Mexico colluding with Germany to bring German troops in and attack us from the south during WWI.

Shouldn't they worry more about someone who is not a secret Deep State puppet and has a chance of being elected before making threats?

I agree with former Mexican President, Felipe' Calderone. When asked how Mexico would handle illegal aliens crossing into Mexico, he replied, 'We send back them!'
I agree. We should send back them. All of them! Then let them apply for entry legally. Anchor babies and everyone else.

Sounds like the "mexican president" is declaring his government's official interest in the southern invasion. Doesn't that make it legal for our states to deliver a special package on top of his roof?
