A Minnesota teenager was arrested for the murder of a beloved youth hockey coach who was shot and killed earlier this month in St. Paul after cell phone data linked the teen to the crime.
Authorities charged the unidentified 17-year-old with second-degree murder for allegedly shooting Michael Brasel, who police say stumbled upon a burglary-in-progress (Snip) he was arrested for an April 2022 robbery in which he brought a gun to Harding High School in St. Paul, held it to another student’s head and demanded his cell phone.
Two bystanders recorded the crime and posted it on Snapchat.
Prosecutors charged the boy with aggravated robbery, and he was on probation until January 2023

The car hit a curb about a mile-and-a-half away, knocking the front bumper off, police said. Cops used the bumper – and the license plate – to link the car to a pair of earlier traffic stops, CBS said.
Didn't need sherlock holmes to solve this crime. The "teen" has been in trouble before, what a shock!

What a senseless death. Apparently the powers-that-be fall silent when a thug kills a productive citizen.

“Axtell also told CBS that the “level of violence with our young people continues to grow exponentially.”
And in another article I read today (paraphrasing): there is no more Black family. Rather, random pairings which create a baby, who grows up to be as dysfunctional as his “creators.”
What needs to be done to quell this march into Hell will never be done. The Communists won’t allow it. They are too close to the finish line. They can see the checkered flag.

This teenager probably has a ghetto name. How would anyone like to start life as a 'Philtavious, Dre'antwon, Lamarious, BonQuavious, or Da'Kwin, and then not knowing even how to properly hold a pencil? No excuse for violence, however.

The prosecutor and Judge in that prior case are both Accessories to this Murder.

Good gets killed and the bad gets options? Remove trigger fingers and execute on the exact anniversary day the kid committed his murder. Give him 365 days to reflect and terminate!

Who shot Michael Brasel? This is not an episode of Dallas. This is real. The unidentified perp lost his identity a long time ago when he first brought a gun to school to terrorize his fellow students. Ya think he was a troubled kid? What is going on within the local school system and law enforcement? Do any adults live in Minnesota?

This is not gangs, this is Somalis. Literally if somebody has something you want it's OK for you to just take it by any means possible IF YOU CAN. Ask Ilhan.

FTA: “It’s not a ‘lock ’em up and throw away the key’ mentality, but we need consequences. Enough is enough,” he said. “No more one-of-two or three options if a person is involved in a felony level crime of violence with a gun. We need to act immediately. Take that young person off the street, put them into a secure environment, make sure they get the resources they need.”
Well, THERE's your solution right there, eh? I say that the environment would give him 3 squares, a bunk, and lots of iron... in the form of bars. Until Michael Brasel heals, right?

I remember when my brother and his family moved to Minnesota from the East Coast with a job transfer awhile back, and he went hunting for the first time in his life (pheasants), and his wife gave him a gun for Christmas, and the kids began to speak with a certain mid-western accent, and everything was so Midwestern. My sister-in-law spoke about how her new neighbors were so open and friendly - not at all like people on the East Coast. Methinks things have changed a bit since then. East Coast still the same.
