Arguably the most beautiful big city in America looks more and more like a ghost town as San Francisco learns yet another painful real estate lesson.
The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that a “fire sale” on the 22-story 350 California office tower could see the $300 million building sell for as little as $60 million.
The potential 80% off is because the building is 75% vacant and, according to one estimate, will require $50 million in renovations and improvements to attract new tenants.
Assuming there will be any tenants to attract.
“We’re all really on the edge of our seats to see the first office trade in San Francisco,”

As RedState reported, Joe Biden got caught red-handed again with a “cheat sheet” while giving a press conference on Wednesday. This time was a bit different than past occurrences, though.
Biden has previously been observed having a pre-approved list of reporters on hand as well as outlines spelling out every syllable he’s supposed to utter. What made this time more concerning was that he had the actual question the reporter was set to ask him as well.
In all my time following politics, I’ve never seen anything like this. (Snip) The excuse here will likely be that because this was a joint presser with a foreign dignitary, questions needed to be pre-screened.

Earlier this year I noted that the mainstream acceptance of transgenderism would be the precursor to the normalization of pedophilia. The evidence to support this was quite clear. And I’m sorry to say that I was right. The Minnesota legislature is in the process of changing the legal definition of “sexual orientation” that literally opens the door to mainstreaming pedophilia.
Here’s how it’s being done. The bill modifies the existing Minnesota law that designates sexual orientation as a protected category, making it unlawful to discriminate based on sexual orientation within the state.
The first thing it does is adds a definition for gender identity: (Snip) But this is not even the most

Anyone who has been paying attention knows that lots of liberals have been grooming kids in recent years. Generally, though, they don’t admit it: there are lots of good reasons, supposedly, why drag queens should invade little kids’ libraries, and ask children to stuff dollar bills into their G-strings at drag shows.
Here in Minnesota, we have something different: the Democratic Party is officially coming out in defense of pedophilia as a matter of law. Minnesota’s crazed DFL majorities have passed one extreme measure after another this session, but this one breaks new ground in service of pedophilia. The bill is HF 1655, sponsored by a man pretending

She did it again.
Nearly every time Vice President Kamala Harris speaks to the public, the occasion ends with a humiliating and viral sound bite. And this time was no exception.
In her first public appearance since President Biden’s re-election announcement, Harris delivered remarks at an abortion rights rally at her alma mater, Howard University, in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.
Describing the significance of the moment, Harris told the crowd:
So I think it’s very important, as you have heard from so many incredible leaders for us at every moment in time and certainly this one, to see the moment in time in which we exist and are present, and to be able to

Happy Wednesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Well, ladies and gentlemen, if you thought your 2020 hangover had finally subsided, it might be about to come roaring back. Joseph Robinette Biden is giving it a go and — despite so much speculation to the contrary — he’s dragging Kamala Harris along with him. It’s like being given the A Clockwork Orange treatment and having your eyes propped open while being forced to watch a sequel to a movie you never wanted to see in the first place.
My colleagues covered the bad three-minute B-movie announcement brilliantly.

It is hard to believe Joe Biden can possibly go through with this. He is no longer capable of doing a live press conference, and couldn’t even manage a live re-election announcement. National Review reminds us that in 2019 Biden apparently told confidantes that he’d be a one-term president, that it was “inconceivable” that he’d run again in 2024.
So what’s behind this? And why so early? Reagan didn’t announce his re-election candidacy until early in 1984, though Bill Clinton announced his 1996 candidacy in April 1995. Therein likes the the beginning of an answer. In April 1995 Clinton’s poll numbers were still in the tank after the GOP landslide

Four more years is all Presidentish Joe Biden needs to “finish this job” he started on the nation in 2021. “I know we can,” he concluded in his pre-recorded re-election announcement video on Tuesday.
A pre-recorded announcement? When someone announces they’re running for president, it’s a massive public event featuring the biggest and most enthusiastic crowd the candidate can muster. When it’s a sitting president, the pageantry and the crowds are practically built in. But not for Doddering Joe, whose people had to trickle out a video because they can’t trust their man to draw a crowd, not to screw it all up, or wander the wrong direction off

A major weakness for the economy of China is centralized planning by its communist party, such as the one-child policy and “four modernizations” in 1978 which led to short term prosperity and an industrialized China, but also led to environmental degradation, income inequality, and corruption.
There are other central planning failures such as its high-speed rail system which by the end of September 2021 was losing over $830 billion. Real estate was another area of failure, with dozens of ghost cities built for thousands of people with no occupants. The real estate bubble which burst bankrupting giants such as Evergrande and other real estate companies is another failure of central planning

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Sasha kept unwanted suitors at bay with a strong combination of tea tree oil and biting sarcasm.
The United States of America is currently burdened by the fact that Joe Biden’s handlers want him to be in office until he’s 612 years old. Given the fact that the Dems don’t care if their elected officials are demented, debilitated, or — in some cases — dead, it’s difficult to see how to get rid of their walking wounded.

ESPN launched in 1979 as the Entertainment and Sports Network, broadcasting on cable and satellite television, focusing on sports programming.
ESPN in recent years discovered a new sport, wokeness, in keeping with most of corporate America. From the usual America bashing to playing Chinese genocide apologist, sports has become a sideshow for ESPN with their main event competing with CNN, MSNBC, and the New York Times in the woke world series.
Women’s sports have come a long way over the past decades, with most sports having both men’s and women’s divisions, including world championships and the Olympic Games. But wokeness and leftist groupthink is threatening to send women athletes to the back

The pro-legal weed Hochul administration is quietly trying to fire up support for a complete ban on the sale of tobacco products in New York, The Post has learned.
The state Health Department commissioned a new survey aimed at gauging support for an all-out prohibition — despite Gov. Hochul’s failure to secure support from state legislators to include a ban on menthol cigarettes and other flavored tobacco products in the yet-to-be-approved state budget.
“What is your opinion about a policy that would end the sale of all tobacco products in New York within 10 years?” were among the questions asked last week in the “New York Local Opinion Leaders Survey,”
