Well, you have probably heard the news by now. A Manhattan grand jury has voted to indict former President Donald Trump for allegedly paying hush money to a former porn star. I’ve said before that I think New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who has been prosecuting this case, wears a MAGA hat behind closed doors. This development is proving me right.
The decision to indict Trump was probably the kindest gift Democrats could have given to the Orange Man What Is Bad™. Unless something radical occurs, this indictment will ensure that the former president secures the GOP presidential nomination.

Well, America might be going to hell in a handbasket (see: indictment of President Donald Trump) but at least Opening Day in the MLB is here. Unlike other professional sports leagues, it appears there’s still some ounce of patriotism that can be found in America’s pastime — so much so that St. Louis pitcher Adam Wainwright sang the Star-Spangled banner.
Introduced as an “up and coming St. Louis artist,” Wainwright belted out the National Anthem prior to the team’s home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays. Here’s Wainwright, who is known as “Uncle Charlie,”

The Gateway Pundit reported that a Manhattan jury voted to indict President Donald Trump Thursday afternoon.
Trump is facing 34 counts related to business fraud as CNN first reported.
Before springing this nasty surprise, the jury announced on Wednesday that they were going on a month-long break.
Former Vice President Mike Pence sat down for an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Thursday night. As one would expect, the first question from Blitzer was about the indictment of Trump.

The Manhattan grand jury indictment Thursday night of former President Donald Trump is sparking new scrutiny of the George Soros-supported district attorney who led the investigation into Trump's alleged violations of state campaign finance laws.
The former president is expected to surrender to District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office early next week, following his indictment stemming from Bragg's investigation into Trump's alleged hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

I previously wrote about polls including the Monmouth Poll indicating former President Donald Trump developing a lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for the Republican presidential nomination. While Trump has declared for 2024, DeSantis has not yet formally declared, although every sign would indicate that he intends to run.
The Monmouth Poll had showed a steady rise in the poll for Trump since January. After the news that an indictment might be dropped on Trump by the Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, his lead continued to climb.
It was announced on Thursday that the New York grand jury had voted to indict Trump.

When he’s right, he’s right. Donald Trump issued a statement on Thursday evening after the United States of America completed its descent to banana-republic status, saying: “This is Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.” He then recalled some of the Left’s earlier attempts to frame and destroy him for crimes he didn’t commit. This instance is no different: every sentient being on the planet knows that Trump hasn’t been indicted for any actual criminal activity, but because he is the foremost foe of the Leftist political establishment, and thus the fundamental obstacle to their authoritarian goals.

The indictment of former President Donald Trump on Thursday by a grand jury in Manhattan is an assault on democracy.
There is no evidence of a crime being committed in the Stormy Daniels affair; even if there were, the statute of limitations on the supposed charge has expired, and the state cannot evade it by inventing a federal crime. The indictment is simply an attempt to prevent the leading opposition candidate from contesting the 2024 election.Worse, the indictment was purchased by notorious left-wing billionaire George Soros, who hates Trump and spent $1 million to elect Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

So the Democrats decided to indict Donald Trump after all. (I assume that Alvin Bragg would not have proceeded without a green light from higher-ups in the party.) Here, as in so many other areas, we are in uncharted waters. The Democrats have launched a sort of blitzkrieg against our traditions, our Constitution, our culture (at least, our culture as it was), and every form of restraint that makes civil society possible. They have unleashed a wind, and seem serenely confident that they will never face a whirlwind. I don’t know, maybe they are right. I do know that after today, our country will never be the same again.

A cowardly nut blasted into a Christian elementary school and started shooting people. She killed three helpless adults in their 60s, one of whom was the woman headmaster who ran straight toward the sound of gunshots to protect the children in her charge.
And three nine-year-olds.
Police – remember them, the folks the wokesters wanted to ban? – were on-scene within 10 minutes. With fear (who wouldn’t be?) but without hesitation, they too ran toward the gunshots.

After a radicalized transgender shooter killed six people at a Nashville Christian school, authorities revealed that she had left a manifesto and strongly hinted that it revealed the motivation behind the horrendous crime.
Incredibly, Merrick Garland, the politicized head of the DOJ, insisted that the motive was a mystery that was being investigated. A new report indicates a change on the matter, though, with a Nashville City Councilman definitely stating that the manifesto will be released

The Biden administration was forced to offer up 2,600 square miles of federal oil and gas leases in the Gulf of Mexico this week, following a deal made by West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin (D) in exchange for his support of the left’s climate legislation last summer.

The Gateway Pundit reported earlier in the month that Deputy New York City DA Meg Reiss may be behind the latest legal assault on President Trump.
Former NYPD officer and political pundit John Cardillo posted a string of tweets suggesting current Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg isn’t “smart enough” to orchestrate an indictment against Trump but rather Soros-connected Deputy DA Meg Reiss is the one pushing for Trump to be indicted.(Tweet) Cardillo’s statements come after he obtained intel from his New York Law Enforcement sources.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The death penalty could be abolished in Ohio under upcoming bipartisan legislation announced Tuesday--the latest in what has been years of effort to end capital punishment in the state. (Snip) The Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association opposes the legislation, calling it “dangerous” and saying it would cut Ohio’s “worst criminals” a break. Republican Attorney General Dave Yost, a supporter of the death penalty, said in a statement that the bill provides a platform to discuss a needed overhaul of Ohio’s capital punishment system, calling it “a farce and a broken promise of justice.”

Former President Donald Trump is appealing a judge's order that one of his former chiefs of staff and other top aides must testify before the federal grand jury investigating the Jan. 6 riot, a source familiar with the matter confirmed Wednesday.
U.S. Court Judge Beryl Howell's ruled this month that Mark former chief of staff Meadows and other aides, including Dan Scavino and Stephen Miller, must testify despite Trump's invocation of executive privilege. The decision and Trump's appeal were filed under seal because of the active grand jury investigation. The court docket shows the appeal was filed Wednesday, and the source confirmed that the appeal concerns Howell’s earlier ruling.

The release of the recordings of the supposed January 6, 2021 “insurrection” (J6) has sparked a lot of controversy in the media and on Capitol Hill. The J6 event was reported by the congressional “investigation” and the media as a catastrophe, akin to or worse than 9/11. Oops, now the truth is coming out with the release of over 40,000 hours of video surrounding the event, and we are finding it is nothing like that was depicted. Similarly, we have been told for almost three years how devastating COVID-19 was and that it originated in a market in Wuhan, China. Oops, again.

Note: This original version of this article (which has been revised and updated) was published a year ago, but sadly is just as pertinent now as it was then. Each time one of these shootings happen, I watch people get up in arms over what needs to be done to stop murdering our children, but at the same time this, the elephant in the room, the clear and irrefutable evidence linking psychiatric medications to homicidal violence is never discussed (which I believe is due their sales making approximately 40 billion dollars a year).
Prior to the Covid vaccinations, psychiatric medications were the mass-prescribed medication that had the worst risk-to-benefit ratio

No, it doesn’t appear that the White House is planning to outright ban air conditioning. But a recent round of rule making at the Energy Department will make new window units less efficient at cooling and more expensive to buy, which will create hardships for the millions of poor Americans who use them to
