The RESTRICT Act is the very definition of a Trojan horse: innocuous on the outside, lethal on the inside. And it is being wheeled toward the gates, with the help of Republicans in Congress. (In case you missed the story of the Trojan Horse — the actual one, not the virus — you can find it here.)
Ostensibly, the RESTRICT Act is designed to protect Americans from TikTok — you know, that nifty piece of Chinese spyware masquerading as a fun way to showcase dance videos, asinine behavior, and other things people can live without. And Congress is interested in protecting the country from bad international actors.

Teachers union president Randi Weingarten called for gun confiscation Tuesday, saying the U.S. must follow "what other great democracies" have done to ban guns, following the shooting at a Christian Nashville school.
Weingarten addressed the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Tuesday morning regarding the aftermath of the school shooting that killed three children and three adults. After having a moment of silence for the victims, she reignited calls to ban "assault weapons."
"Today, we renew our call for common sense gun safety legislation, including a ban on assault weapons. This is an epidemic," Weingarten said. She added, "It’s an epidemic that our great nation must solve.

Happy Wednesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Ever since Joe Biden and his handlers decided to turn the Federal Bureau of Investigation into the American Stasi, we’ve been hearing that the real threat to America is coming from “right wing radicals” or some such nonsense. The FBI has been targeting soccer moms at school board meetings and pro-lifers who pray outside of abortion clinics.
You know, the scariest people among us.
Every time I write about the rogue FBI and its goon squad priorities, I conclude by worrying about what the Bureau might be missing in the way of people who might actually commit violence. Thus far in the Biden era,

Communism and other state-controlled economies have always wrestled with the problem of “useless mouths” If the state feeds, then who shall it feed? The easy answer: only those who work. Some Marxists felt that there was a reciprocal obligation to work. No work, no grub. “There can be no stronger or more pressing motive to work for the society in which all participate than this unshakable sense of communal service. But where this sense is lacking and physical disability or mental laziness engenders a shirker,

President Biden turned up in the briefing room with a few remarks about the devastating mass murder in Nashville yesterday. The White House has posted the transcript of Biden’s remarks here.
Biden added remarks on the Nashville tragedy to his prepared text, but he found it an appropriate moment to perform his usual shtick. There was never anything remotely good about this shtick, but under the circumstances it was indecent. This is what he had to say:
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you. My name is Joe Biden. (Laughter.) I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband. (Laughter.) And I eat Jeni’s Ice Cream, chocolate chip. (Laughter.) I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip

While much is still not known and authorities are understandably not releasing all the information about Audrey Elizabeth Hale, the 28-year-old female who massacred six innocents at Covenant Presbyterian School, a private school in Nashville, Tennessee, some known facts have trickled out. And perhaps because some of these facts go against the politically correct narrative about murderers, victims, gender, religion, "identity," and whatever is PC at the moment, these facts were casually mentioned towards the end of the report if they were brought up at all.

Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) I have never been more grateful than I am now for the fact that I’m not a “try to see the good in everyone” person. Kudos to those of you who are, but that’s got to be a brutal gig these days, especially when it comes to finding something nice to say about Joe Biden.
When President LOLEightyonemillion was The Lightbringer’s VEEP, I used to get frustrated when conservatives would write him off as a quirky, entertaining goof. Most who did are no doubt opting for selective memory now but, trust me, it happened a lot.

ESPN has allegedly not responded to former NCAA All-American swimmer Riley Gaines’ calls for female employees to revolt after honoring transgender athlete Lia Thomas for Women’s History Month, leading Gaines to double-down on her argument Tuesday.
On "Varney & Co." when asked by host Stuart Varney if Gaines had received a response from ESPN, the swimmer claimed she hadn’t, "which is of no surprise to me."
"I will say," Gaines clarified, "I admire Sage Steele, who works at ESPN… I admire her so much because she has taken a public stance on this. Of course, working around sports, we know the advantages that men have in comparison to women when

NEW YORK - U.S. prosecutors on Tuesday unveiled a new indictment against Sam Bankman-Fried, accusing the founder of the now-bankrupt FTX cryptocurrency exchange of paying a $40 million bribe to Chinese officials so they would unfreeze his hedge fund's accounts.
The new bribery conspiracy charge adds the pressure on the 31-year-old former billionaire, who now faces a 13-count indictment over the November collapse of FTX. Prosecutors had previously accused Bankman-Fried of stealing billions of dollars in customer funds to plug losses at his Alameda Research hedge fund, and orchestrating an illegal campaign donation scheme to buy influence in Washington, D.C. A spokesman for Bankman-Fried declined to comment.

An extraordinarily strange scene unfolded at the White House on Monday after the news broke that a woman claiming to be a man had murdered six people at Covenant School, a Christian school in Nashville. Old Joe Biden came out to address the Small Business Administration’s Women’s Business Summit, knowing that the shooting had taken place and that there were fatalities, and likewise knowing that the world was waiting and watching, expecting him to make a statement about what had happened. Instead of striking a somber note, however, asking for prayers and expressing condolences, Old Joe was positively

It has never been easy for Israel — the understatement of the century — from the moment of its establishment in 1948, when it was invaded by five Arab armies, to the present day, when it is facing multiple threats to its very survival. It suffers a history like no other nation in the world, surrounded by enemies, fighting wars on every front, infiltrated by terrorists, confronting the wetware dreams of genocidal regimes, in particular the prospect of a nuclear Iran sworn to the country’s annihilation, and subject to an international delegitimation campaign carried out via the

Let’s just jump right in, shall we?
The Babylon Bee is irrefutably the best satire site in the known universe, in my not-so-humble, often-sarcastic (in a “good” way, of course) opinion. Satire is the most difficult kind of comedy to perfect (again, IMNSHO); the closer to the truth and the more prophetic, the funnier, and smarter, satire becomes.
This is precisely why The Bee stands alone at the top.
The Bee was launched on March 1, 2016, and over the last two years, nearly 100 of its “articles” have become reality — veritable fulfilled prophecies, as I said in the headline.
Founder and CEO Seth Dillon explained the Bee’s success to Fox News:
