Salem, N.H. — Nikki Haley plans to lean into retail politicking on the 2024 GOP primary trail, focusing on more intimate events that she believes will heighten the contrast between her and the early favorite for the nomination, former president Donald Trump.
The former South Carolina governor laid out her strategy during a town hall in Salem, N.H. Tuesday night, when one of the voters gathered at the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge asked how she planned to best Trump.
“When you look at the situation that we have, President Trump has 25 percent of Republicans,” Haley said. “It’s a hard 25 percent. They are ‘Trump or no one.’”
“There are 75 percent other Republicans

Unless the playbook includes Trump in prison or deceased, it isn't worth much.

She'll need more than a good idea. I like her, a little. But she doesn't have it. There is no room for moderate. No room for what five years ago would have seemed reasonable. Now, it just looks weak. There is no path for weakness through the swamp that is the future. It'll take strength, perseverance, and an intensity she just doesn't have. The fact that she doesn't see that, is telling enough for me that she isn't the one. Nikki is like a friend who shows up for a fight to the death, and she's worried about what she's wearing. She might be a fine person, but not the one you want to fight for your life with. That's where we are. Nikki is not the one.

Nikki will last about as long as a snowball in August. She will do a little better than K. Harris, but not by much. Voters will show this RINO the door.

She's got a strategy of doing retail politicking because she couldn't draw enough of a crowd to fill a junior high school gym.

Not much enthusiasm for Ms. Haley evident here. But you must admit, those eyebrows are impressive.

The tall tales that the GOPe tell themselves regarding Trump and his support are as endless as they miscalculated. But, they are always good for a laugh.

What the National R.I.N.O. Review is really saying:
Since Former, Use to Be Something left MAGA and went Solo she's joined the "Gig' economy.
It use to be called the "Chitlin" Circuit" but that would be disrespectful to the Musicians and the Elks.
Former, Use to Be will be performing her act in smaller venues.
Look for her at a Food Cart near you!

3 years ago Trump started out last in a field of over 17. Now he is starting out in first no matter what the final count will be. Only de Santos has a chance.

What an idiot, drumming in the idea that “you will get tired of seeing me” is not a phrase that will generate support and votes. I have been tired of seeing and hearing her for years, and I can assure her I will not vote for her; and if chosen as VP it will only lessen my opinion of whoever the nominee may be.

The Trumpistas will be in for a rude awakening, come either April or November '24. They will blame everything but the bully boy reactions to anyone with the temerity to challenge Trump. Alienating your own party adherents is not wise. Worse, it is likely independents will flock to the movement under those circumstances. This is akin to the Blues Brothers on a mission for God. Hubris rarely ends well.

She has the numbers exactly inverted. There are two factions here. The money bags and the rank and file. Money bags are not FOR anyone, Just against Trump. The remaining rank and file are solidly for Trump Are they 75? Who knows. But when Trump is polling more than all others including DeSantis combined 25% looks like gaslighting.

Two things can be true simultaneously: That Nikki Haley hasn't got a chance and that Trump has too much baggage to win a second presidency.
