It appears that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg will go another week in the legal effort to locate the nation of Kailasa on a map.
Recently, Mayor Ras Baraka and the city of Newark held a formal ceremony signing a partnership with the nation of Kailasa that pledged mutual cultural, social and political development. After all of the fanfare, pomp and circumstance subsided, a small problem emerged. Kailasa does not exist.

There was/is no case, only a fabrication of lies.

News report that Trump is trying to "control the narrative".

Where is Hochul? The Governor of NY allows the DA's to run amok. Her silence or acquiesce is complicit approval of Alvin-Sharpton-Wannabe-Bragg's performance as DA of Manhattan. Both should be ashamed.

Let's keep it simple.
1) There is no case, and never has been. DOJ had the "goods" and decline prosecution.
2) Discussing this in legal terms is nonsense. There is no legal basis for this examination by grand jury in NYC except to try to torpedo FPDT's presidential aspirations by indicting and trying him as the '24 election season approaches. Who'd support an indicted "felon"?
3) FPDT has been masterful in turning this inquisition on its head. By merely "expecting" his arrest, the world spun off its axis and remains in this state. FPDT made himself the center of the political, media and public conversation universes. The "expectation" that he would be arrested, maybe perp walked in an orange jumpsuit, was too much to resist. And the comedy continues with daily episodes that have put the DA in a corner he cannot escape, with "no indictment" appearing the way out.
4) This show also boxed in two of FPDT's opponents. DeSantis has apparently peed on his shoes dealing with this, or has been portrayed as doing so. Haley has been silent. They both are taking heat for not supporting FPDT in his hour of need. It has riled the MAGA Nation to action and hardened any resistance to even considering the other two "candidates" by those softer-support Trumpistas. How will it play in Iowa, new Hampshire and other early primary/caucus states? That's a question that is open.
I continue to marvel at this Broadway production and its continuous morphasis. It appears more and more like it will end as a gross embarrassment for the grand inquisitor, although one never knows what a grand jury might do. They may indict and he may refuse to prosecute. Stand by...with plenty of popcorn.

"Let the jury consider their verdict,” the King said, for about the twentieth time that day.
“No, no!” said the Queen. “Sentence first—verdict afterwards.”
Lewis Carroll thought he was writing fantasy, not prophecy. Only in this case it's a Democrat knave trying to upend the law.
Democrats live in a fantasy land where up is down, men are women, black is white, wrong is right. The problem is they want the rest of us to live there, too and have gained enough power to try to make it happen.

It's falling apart because it never had a solid foundation to begin with. Or as my brother said, "Instead of a Whopper the democrats served up another Nothing Burger."

Because Trump is squeaky clean.
He's been investigated by lying, corrupt criminals with badges for years...and they have failed at creating a crime from this goid man's life.

It's falling apart because the poll numbers are favorable to DJT, like the D'Rats care about the facts. They couldn't give a D'Rats @ss if any of it is true or not.

When The Boss tells his hit man to deal with an irritating person, he'd better take care of business or The Boss will, and then find a new employee.
What'cha gonna' do Alvin?

Algonquin J. Calhoun may have had unorthodox methods - - but in the end - - he always achieved his purpose.
The same will not be true for Alvinquin J. Bragg.

#4, I agree with most of your points, except the following: Who'd support an indicted "felon"?
Since the indictment would be politically motivated and fraudulent, neither the indictment nor any possible conviction by a NY ideological jury, NOR any possible incarceration would deter me from voting for Trump. In fact, such unfair actions would make me consider it my sacred duty and moral imperative as a still-free citizen of the United States to vote for Trump. There is no doubt in my mind that Trump could run this country better from prison than Biden does from his basement in Rehoboth Beach,
