The Smithsonian Institution required staffers at the National Air and Space Museum to undergo training after a group of Catholic school students were told to remove their anti-abortion hats in order to enter the museum last month. The incident reportedly happened on Jan. 20, after the annual March for Life, an anti-abortion protest that draws hundreds of thousands of demonstrators every year

I cancelled my subscription to the Smithsonian publications years ago when they refused to display an accurate representation of the Japanese aggression with the attack on Pearl Harbor just like the event merely "happened." Then with ignoring Chief Justice Clarence Thomas and other black conservatives in the African American Museum ? This youth group was not protesting and even if they thought they were HOW PEACEFUL CAN YOU GET? Wake up wokesters as you are way over the top and I'm still wondering why cancelling Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben and the Land O Lakes Indian maiden have benefited anyone?

I started visiting Air and Space in the middle 1960s when it was nothing but literally a Quonset hut on the mall with a couple of aircraft inside, some artifacts inside and a few missiles outside of the building. Most memorable to this teen was the Wright brothers' wind tunnel with an excellent explanatory display. It has been a lifelong favorite and several artifacts or awards were won or created by personal friends or family members. This leftist garbage is just WRONG. Let's hope it never happens again. It is irritating enough that I can't keep my pocket knife in my pocket when visiting...."weapons" ya know. Eye roll.

The public is gradually learning how, despite repeated denials and non-answers, top government officials were well aware of the potential for violence on January 6, 2021. A chief investigator on the January 6 select committee told NBC News last week that law enforcement was privy to a trove of intelligence indicating problems could arise during the election certification process but, for some unexplained reason, chose to ignore the warning signs. “The Intel in advance was pretty specific, and it was enough in our view for law enforcement to have done a better job operationalizing a secure perimeter.”

There is a certain demographic that appears to be on an organized mission to show the rest of us just how immoral and backward its philosophies really are. Most notably, these ideologues salivate over unfettered abortion, even to the point when the act becomes definable as "infanticide," and they continue to push the envelope regarding "transgender" sex-change mutilations of children, even prepubescent ones. Think they can't possibly commoditize human life more? Think again — the metaphorical "hold my beer" seems appropriate. I’ll start with the author’s contention that Russia’s war against Napoleonic France was one of its wars “of aggression.” On June 24, 1812, Napoleon invaded Russia with an army of 650,000, approximately the 12th European county to receive the French tyrant’s military attention. Who was the aggressor here? Tsar Alexander I was a hero at the Congress of Vienna, for crushing that invasion and breaking the French chronic aggressor’s back once and for all.

During that appearance, Buttigieg claimed that Joe Biden is just so wildly successful as president that his accomplishments cannot be easily distilled — hence Biden’s low approval ratings. Yes, Mayor Pete actually said Biden is extremely unpopular because he’s too good at his job. Buttigieg rambled out a justification of the Biden administration allowing an apparent Chinese spy balloon to cross the U.S. before shooting it down over the ocean (where, quite conveniently, no one can pick up tell-tale debris as enlightening evidence).
