Congressional Republicans, buoyed by their recent takeover of the House, have announced plans for a new committee, a special committee, a GOP-run committee, that will look at past years of government abuses committed by federal authorities against U.S. citizens — including against Donald Trump — and set the foundations in place, finally, for accountability. Democrats have reacted with horror. Of course they have.
Cue the world’s smallest violin.
Democrats are finally going to get what they deserve — a taste of their own witch-hunty ways.

Whenever a commiecrat is actually booted out of Congress, or sent to jail for their heinous misdeeds, then this will mean something. Until then, it's just a buncha hot air!

A lot of top Democrats should be thrown in jail, not just made to "squirm".

The ‘Rats are so brazen, thick skinned and shameless that frankly they don’t give a rat’s a**. At least it will bring the inequities in front of the people and make them undeniable. There was a time in this country when that would affect election outcomes. That era is now gone.

Its all theater. There will not be a single prosecution. What they need to do is put a huge tent over DC and fumigate the vermin. All of them.

Well ... it's a start!
The real key here is to get people under oath and make them worry about lying and the consequences. Once that happens ... it's a new ballgame. Slips of tongue and loose lips can sink ships.
Remember ... we all found out about Nixon's recording devices almost by accident when a witness under oath said something like: "If you don't believe me ... just go and listen to the tapes".

Hopefully, these committees can do their investigations away from the media leading up to the 2024 elections to prevent liberal biased media from providing cover. Then, expose their findings daily/weekly, one after another. Bang! Bang! Bang! Don’t give the enemy time to respond effectively before the next big one hits.
Then, maybe the electorate will be persuaded in numbers that will overcome election fraud that the federal government is corrupt and sweeping changes are needed. The hope is that a great President will be elected (re-elected?) who will appoint an Attorney General who will cleanse the Justice Department and Intelligence agencies so that a real inquisition will begin and real justice will be served.

Since the majority of congressional Republicans are pretty wimpy, and the leftist Democrats know that, the old adage “talk is cheap” has to be brought into play on what the Republicans will actually accomplish, so we will have to wait and see what those Republicans will really do. Since the leftist Democrats control the White House, the Department of Justice, and the US Senate, the leftist Democrat could easily get away with simply ignoring whatever investigations that the congressional Republicans actually pursue.

Nothing will come of it because they are all the same animals and they are fearful some harm will come to them when they switch sides.

About time. Way past time. I regard the Dims as evil and total traitors. I think that they're actively working to destroy They USA and freedom. I despise them. Why are so much and so many of the American public and media so enamored and slavish adherents of their evil baloney and treason?
I don't get it. Why would anyone support someone trying to destroy them and their freedom?
I just don't get it. Many of my and your "friends" say that they "don't want to talk politics"
Are they willing to talk about our very freedom and survival?
Good luck with that one.
