There’s an epic civil war raging within

You might have gotten the feeling that—putting aside the legal cheating through mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting—the real enemy of the red wave in 2022 wasn’t Democrats but was, instead, Republicans. According to Sundance, writing at The Conservative Treehouse, if you had that feeling, you’re right on the money. According to him, we’re witnessing an all-out civil war in the Republican party that’s going to escalate as we near the 2024 presidential election. The fight is over money: Is there an American economy that benefits the American people or is the future economy purely transnational for the benefit of the leadership class

The Conservative Treehouse article is worth forwarding to your friends who are tired of Trump's personality flaws. Pretty sure the soldiers didn't love General MacArthur's personality either.

What the actions of the GOPe boils down to is greed. They want to be at the top of the economic food chain and in order to do this, they have decided that globalism and multinationalism is the way to get there. President Trump is opposed to that because it weakens the country in many ways, a big one being national security. He believes in the philosophy that corporations should be America First and foremost and by doing so the power of the American worker will make this country great. Outsourcing the manufacturing, energy, and technological segments of the economy makes us weaker, less safe, and under the thumb of our enemies and some friends who will take advantage of us. These Chamber of Commerce and Business Roundtable people are not interested in America first. They are interested only how they can benefit and will blow off the American worker in a heartbeat to keep the money rolling into them.

Yes indeed and isn't it grand! We will never salvage the republic without defeating the socialists. We will never defeat the socialists without gaining dominance of a major political party. The only party at all vulnerable to the influence of those of us with constitutional values is the GOP.

I have been dismayed since the early days of Trump's first campaign that the GOP refuses to engage on the issues. Tell me, Mitt/Mitch/Lynne, what are your disagreements with the America First agenda? And while you're at it, explain how your personal wealth is affected when the GOPe is not in charge of the Conservative movement? I am not fan of the the Trump personality but that sure is far less important to me than preserving a civilized republic. Ramona (the Pest)

I have to agree with 5. Third parties are a trap. I voted for Perot. His one hour pie-chart presentation was compelling, and he had a remarkable track-record in business. He was very earnest. All he did (and perhaps deliberately!) was grease the skids for Sick Willie. It is a variation of the old saying. I mean, it would be : divide and be conquered. Somehow we must gain dominance over the RINO Repubcapons.

Not to worry. America's day of reckoning will come before 2024. Our financial system house of cards and our beloved US dollar will have collapsed. Recall the pre-WWII period in Europe. 1935 is back but in America this time.

We need a third party. The GOP is corrupt through and through. Both parties are owned by globalist bankers. Why do you think the Tea Party sent both parties frothing at the mouth?

What the Republican establishment doesn’t seem to understand is that more of the base than they would like to think would rather vote a Trump 3rd party, even knowing that 3rd parties are spoilers and rarely win. There is no difference between the establishment and the democrats. None. So, it doesn’t matter? The citizens are screwed either way.

I remember the looks of horror on many of the faces of those seated behind newly-inaugurated President Trump during his speech in 1/20/16 when he declared that he was going to remove the power from DC and return it to the people. Little did he realize how powerful City Hall was or that no one - NO ONE - seated among them shared his idealism. Thanks to him, we have all learned a lot in the past 6 years. I know I have.

Excellent analysis that explains why both political parties act against the interest of the American people and why both parties and their supporters are so determined to destroy Trump and the MAGA/ Tea Party movement.

An inflection point is coming. In preparation for what we are about to witness, it is critical to understand that both the DNC and RNC are private corporations with no affiliation to government. It is a difficult shift in thinking to appropriately understand, but the party system in U.S. politics revolves around two clubs that feed from the same corporate trough and position for influence and affluence within a political dynamic they control.

Since the “red wave” fizzled out, a consensus has quickly emerged in the media that Donald Trump is no longer a viable political force. The newly anointed prince of the Right, according to the tastemakers, is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Trump’s more palatable, less chaotic protégé. But DeSantis and Trump offer two very different things. DeSantis is a conventional politician with Trump-like qualities, who can, at least according to his fan base, build a popular majority that is beyond Trump’s reach. Trump is a radical outsider to a rigged, illegitimate political system with which he has been at war for seven years,

It’s been an interesting week of watching people on the Right scrambling to sling mud at anything or anyone to which or whom it will stick. Perhaps the most interesting of all is “who” the blame has fallen to. Namely, Donald Trump. Most people do not understand the kind of true sacrifice Trump made when he decided to run for office—even though he surely didn’t have to. The hatred and other persecutions, the sorts that come with such public sacrifices, have the potential of ruining not only one’s own life but that of one’s family.

If there’s one thing the 2022 midterms made clear, it’s that Democrats have a huge ground game advantage over Republicans. Whether it’s a month of harvesting (and curing) ballots thanks to early voting, or going door-to-door filling out ballots for huge swaths of unlikely voters, Democrats know that turning out ballots is more important than turning out votes. They don’t have to rely on generating traditional Election Day enthusiasm through distributing campaign mailers or running TV ads. Republicans, however, still insist on investing the majority of their campaign funds into these antiquated (or pre-2020) methods. And they’re showing no signs of stopping. Why? Blame the political consultant class.

Joe Biden, the military-industrial-congressional complex, State Department neocons, the War Party comprised of all Democrats and many corporate Republicans, and Western globalist elites have the United States and NATO in a Ukrainian proxy war against Russia. The warmongers are obsessed with destroying Russia. To achieve it, they are determined to fight to the last Ukrainian. In eight months, Congress has wasted $69 billion of American taxpayer money to fund their proxy war. That’s about $8 billion more than Russia’s entire annual military budget. And to the delight of the American arms industry, there is no end in sight. Biden is soon expected to request another $50 billion.  CORRECTION*

In the days following the 2022 midterms, some self-anointed conservative thought leaders, who were never all that pro-Trump to begin with, have officially thrown the 45th President under the bus. These spineless conservatives have frolicked over to the DeSantis camp in a way that almost seems as if it was choreographed. Just like that, Trump is yesterday’s news -- he is to be discarded and forgotten about. ‘We need to move on from Trump!’ they’ll sheepishly exclaim. To that I say: pathetic… absolutely pathetic. This kind of thinking, to put it euphemistically, is unsound and illogical. While it’s hard to put a positive spin on the mediocre midterm results,

When Congress authorized $80 billion this year to beef up Internal Revenue Service enforcement and staffing, Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy warned that “Democrats’ new army of 87,000 IRS agents will be coming for you.” A video quickly went viral racking up millions of views, purporting to show a bunch of clumsy bureaucrats receiving firearms training, prompting alarm that the IRS would be engaged in military-style raids of taxpayers. The GOP claims were widely attacked as exaggerations — since the video, though from the IRS, didn’t show official agent training — but the criticism has shed light on a growing trend: the rapid arming of the federal government.

During this midterm campaign, I attended hundreds of events in my district, around Arizona, and around the country. The issue I was asked about most often was whether I or the Republicans in the House, or the Republicans in the Senate, would keep the same leaders. Not only did my constituents want the “red wave” that didn’t materialize, they also wanted new leadership. They told me that they want a leader who will take on the Biden Administration. A leader who will not acquiesce in the abrogation of our rights
How Conservative Men Can Help Solve The

Last week’s election revealed an ever-deepening divide between the voting preferences of single women and everyone else. Single women broke +37 for Democrats, whereas single men, married men, and married women all favored Republicans. Perhaps “toxic feminism” or “AWFL discourse” is the problem. But whatever the explanation, given the slim margins of the recent election, this is a real issue for Republicans. Such voting trends are problematic yet understandable. Single women who lack the protection and security that a husband or father provides are likely to look elsewhere, such as to government, for the securing of their interests.

Is Peggy Noonan back in the driver’s seat? The title and argument of her Wall Street Journal column Thursday made me wonder. “Maybe Republicans Will Finally Learn,” she intoned, explaining in a subhead, “If they aren’t serious about policy, they’ll nominate Trump in 2024 and lose a fourth straight election.” By “Peggy Noonan,” I do not just mean that particular columnist. I mean the generators of The Narrative tout court. As a paid-up member of the establishment, Noonan has long been a Trump opponent. Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, a Republican senator who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump and was up for reelection, beat challenger Kelly Tshibaka to secure her fourth full Senate term. Murkowski is considered to be one of the more centrist Republican voices in Congress, and her win could help President Joe Biden pass his agenda as well as extend her clout in the closely divided Senate. Neither Murkowski nor Tshibaka, the top two candidates in the four-person race, reached the 50% threshold needed for an outright win, which meant the winner was decided by ranked-choice tabulation that was announced on Wednesday.
