A New York Times piece pointing out President Biden’s gaffes from his Tuesday speech angered liberals on Twitter. Furious leftists on the platform swarmed the Times senior political reporter Maggie Haberman's tweet linking to the story, viciously insulting her and the report for making Biden and Democrats look bad. (Snip) In it, he wrote, "President Biden verbally fumbled during a campaign swing in Florida on Tuesday, confusing the American war in Iraq with the Russian war in Ukraine, and then he fumbled again while he tried to correct himself, misstating how his son Beau died in 2015." DENVER — Coloradans have warmed up to legalized psychedelic mushrooms in the last month, even though a small plurality still opposes them. The results of the FOX31 / Channel 2 / Emerson College Polling / The Hill poll conducted Oct. 26-29, show a marked uptick in approval for the upcoming election’s Proposition 122. The ballot initiative would decriminalize psychedelic plants and fungi, including DMT and psilocybin mushrooms, also known as “magic mushrooms.” Among voters of all political affiliations, 43% said they would support the measure, while 44.2% said they would oppose it. Another 12.8% said they are still unsure.

Libertarian U.S. Senate candidate Marc Victor said Tuesday he was ending his campaign and asking his supporters to back Republican Blake Masters in a move that could nudge a narrow slice of voters in a race already expected to be close. Victor, an attorney whose campaign to oust Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., was always a long shot, held a one-on-one conversation with Masters on Monday that convinced him the best option for people who share his outlook this year is Masters. (Snip) The effect of Victor's exit remains to be seen, but would seem to only help Masters. It comes

Democrats in Pennsylvania are scrambling to flip the script on a less-than-stellar performance from Senate candidate John Fetterman during the state’s first and only televised debate and throwing the kitchen sink at pushing him over the finish line. With just over a week until Election Day, they are hoping Fetterman can hang on in a state that’s emerged as the center of Democrats’ hopes of retaining control of the Senate. The Biden administration is considering delaying promised military aid to Saudi Arabia in response to the Gulf country's decision to slash oil production, sources told NBC News. It could include shipments of Patriot MIM-104E guided ballistic missiles, which Saudi Arabia has a contract to purchase 300 of from the US. The Saudis have Patriot launch systems, but need the missiles to defend against attacks from Houthi rebels in Yemen, per the report. Sources told NBC that some military officials support the idea, while others argue that the military relationship between the two countries should be kept separate from the oil

The wife of Democratic Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman claimed “swimming in America is very racist” — as she likened her husband’s use of closed captioning to turning up the brightness on a smartphone. “Historically, swimming in America is very racist, and usually when you look at drowning statistics, it usually affects children of color, because of lack of access,” Gisele Fetterman said on the iGen politics podcast on Thursday. Gisele made the comments while discussing how she and her husband, Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor, had decided not to move into the state-owned mansion in Harrisburg but made the pool accessible
