Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Friday on FNC’s “America’s Newsroom” the House Republicans will regain a majority in the November midterms in a “Republican tsunami.”
Gingrich said, “I think what Kevin McCarthy is trying to do and what I saw yesterday with his members, he succeeded. He is laying out a platform for governing, not just a platform for campaigning.”
He continued, “I think the American people want to change the trajectory. They want to stop the murders. They want to stop the rising prices. They want to get back to independence in energy. And I think that the commitment to America that the House Republicans are launching

Gosh, I sure hope so. These crazies are wrecking everything, and each day they make something worse than it was the day before.

45 days until the general election, less if you vote early. Yes, I am counting the days, and intend to vote early, as a palliative.

Mr. Newt is a pretty good judge of electoral outcomes.
My only concern is the ability of RINO Republicans to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Republicans can vote all they want, but they don't control the count. Especially the absentee ballots that always mysteriously end up just enough demoratic.

Newt Gingrich. Isn't he the guy who reformed welfare as we know it and pushed through "three strikes and you're out?" Sure thing, Mister Newt. We'll pull your finger again and expect something other than gas.

Newt, if the Democrats interfere, again, it will be a Very big wave... And they won't get the opportunity to cheat again.

Three strikes and you're out was a California law signed by ex San Diego Mayor Gov. Pete Wilson and voted on by the people called Proposition 184. It work great at lowering crime to an all time low. However from the first day the RATS worked for over 20 years on weakening it to get the results they wanted and have now.

Newt will be pretty accurate about ballots legally cast. But votes counted is another matter. This is not the 1990s anymore.

I'm thinking a lot of Independents and democrats are going to cross and vote Republican. It's happened before when the Democrats have gone too far left -- and the Dems have gone too far.
I don't hear much enthusiasm for the Democrats from anyone.

I tend to agree. The manufactured polls are trying their best to keep the numbers close but there are millions of ticked off people out here who would like to grind every democrat into the dirt, even the two good ones.

Most voters are not ideological but practical. They are primarily concerned with their economic health. How else can you explain Reagan’s 49 state electoral wipeout of the Dems in 1984. Clintoon was a cad but he was spot on when he coined the phrase “it’s the economy stupid!” Then he let his lefty wife push national healthcare and got his head handed to him in 1994.

This sounds really good, but I know it is wrong. The Republicans will probably lose many, many seats. I know this because I got an email from a Republican senator who informed me that I was their last and only chance. I deleted it.

Mr. Speaker, you may well be right and we hope so despite the expected voting fraud. Good that McCarthy is making an effort. Turtle, what about you then?

Well Newt, Michael Moore is predicting a Democrat "landslide" picking up 2-5 Senate seats. Newt and Moore are about the same when it comes to predicting election outcomes. As long as we continue to allow mail-in voting, our elections will be untrustworthy, and the Dems will continue to have a foot on the scales. The Republicans better wake up and realize our elections are in trouble!

This is the same man who can be counted with the WEF, the Bilderberg group and the NWO. All of whom have been in attendance in Antarctica. Why would we trust anything he says? His say so isn’t enough to be convincing…

And if the Democrats think the humiliating midterm repudiation of their Green New Deal and open southern border is bad, wait until Donald Trump sweeps the 2024 Republican primary and racks up 110 million votes in the 2024 Presidential election. Trump's landslied will be so massive the democrat fraud will collapse and will be swept out into the open for all to see.

I hope that Newt is correct. However, Lindsey Graham is doing everything possible to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Unless he does not have a working brain cell in his head, he knows full well that his Federal antiabortion bill has no chance of passing in the Democrat House or Senate. Even if Republicans gain majorities in both the House and Senate, they would prefer that the 50 individual states sort that out for themselves. All it can do is fire up pro abortion Democrats to come out in force and vote in the midterm election and reduce the number of Republicans elected.
Lindsey needs to be taken to the woodshed and convinced of the error of his ways.

The House of Representatives does not govern this republic. Neither does the Senate. It is governed by the Executive Branch, i.e. the President. And Newt knows better.
Has anyone actually read this monstrosity? The GOPe should go back to the unfinished business of the 1994 "Contract". Let's start with "Fiscal Responsibility", you know, "A balanced budget/tax limitation amendment and a legislative line-item veto to restore fiscal responsibility to an out-of-control Congress, requiring them to live under the same budget constraints as families and businesses." It didn't happen in '95, and it didn't happen in '17, either, when PDT was in office to sign it into law. Or, did I miss this?
How 'bout that "major, independent auditing firm to conduct a comprehensive audit of Congress for waste, fraud or abuse" promised in '94? Missed that one, too, Mr. Speaker.
It ended up an empty, unfulfilled contract then, Newt, and this one is no different. I know, Biden won't sign any of it...boob bait.

#1 - I agree. I think Dick Morris is a babbling fool.
With O'Reilly, on Fox News, he was never correct on any of his projections.
I complained to Fox and they finally fired him.
To see him on NewsMax is disgusting. I switch channels until he's off screen

Well not if Mitch and Rove have anything to say about it. They do more to defeat conservatives than democrats do. Ask any former TEA Party candidate how Mitch helped their opposition win. Ditch Mitch and for The Architect Rove.

I like what Gingrich says, but I have my doubts about how rosy the outcome will be in November.
