It is sometimes believed that the ability to lie confers an advantage. “Disinformation is false information deliberately spread to deceive people… Some consider it a loan translation of the Russian dezinformatsiya, derived from the title of a KGB black propaganda department.” The name itself is wrapped in deception. “Defector Ion Mihai Pacepa claimed Joseph Stalin coined the term, giving it a French-sounding name to claim it had a Western origin.” Here’s an example: “Operation INFEKTION was a Soviet disinformation campaign to influence opinion that the U.S. invented AIDS. The U.S. did not actively counter disinformation until 1980, when a fake document reported that the U.S. supported apartheid.”

I would like to propose a new swear word. We already call people jerks, jackasses, lowlifes, SOBs, dirtbags, and jag-offs (for you people in Pittsburgh). I would like to add “Newsom” to the list.
Newsom: (noun) a wealthy, tone-deaf person who has no self-awareness and no regard for others and who habitually commits callous, selfish actions. Or a person who believes that the top of his inseam is the center of the universe.
I’m really hoping it will catch on:
“You know, I thought Joe was cool, turns out he was just a Newsom.” Or, “Man, when Pete is drunk, he turns into a total Newsom.” Or, “Chill, bro, you don’t have

Mike Lindell wants more than just his phone back. Following the incident in Minnesota during which agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation blocked his vehicle at a Hardee’s drive-through and seized his phone, Lindell made an appearance on Steve Bannon’s War Room. He announced that he was filing a lawsuit against the FBI and the government. You can watch Lindell’s conversation with Bannon posted by The Post Millennial below. Lindell makes the point that his phone is what he uses to run his company and that it even controls his hearing aids. As someone who wears hearing aids, I had the option of connecting mine to my phone

According to Department of Justice sources, Facebook has been spying on the private messages and data of Americans who questioned the 2020 election results and reporting them to the FBI.
Since the election, Facebook has worked in conjunction with the FBI to report on “subversive” private messages, sending them to the FBI’s domestic terrorism operational unit, supposedly in redacted form, a direct violation of Americans’ First and Fourth Amendment rights.
“It was done outside the legal process and without probable cause,” one of the sources told the New York Post. “Facebook provides the FBI with private conversations which are protected by the First Amendment without any subpoena.”

Dr. Mehmet Oz, Republican Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, recently attacked his opponent, the ridiculous Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, for a pro-criminal record that would embarrass George Soros. Specifically, he criticized Fetterman for employing as aides on his campaign Dennis and Lee Horton, who spent 27 years in prison for a horrific armed robbery murder.
Drunk on his own self-righteousness, Fetterman sanctimoniously responded: “Does Dr. Oz believe that the wrongfully convicted should die in prison?” He added that the brothers “spent 27 years in prison for a crime they didn’t commit.”

I heard only two weeks ago about a grandmother in New Orleans, Linda Frickey, 73, who was carjacked in March after taking a break from work to put something in her car. When the carjackers rushed the car and drove off, Frickey got tangled in the seatbelt and was dragged for one block as her clothes were being torn off.
According to witness Leanne Mascar, after a neighbor frantically screamed to let her go, the carjackers “slowed down and opened the door to kick her out.” Naked and with her arm severed, that grandmother bled to death in the street.
This happened as the blood of vicious murdering and random violence

The current anti-Trump and anti-MAGA witch-hunt is not about 2024. The Democrat DoJ is safe for two more years. It is about January 6, 2021. The target is not so much Trump as the idea that electoral votes could be legally contested on the joint session of Congress. Obviously, the DoJ violates core freedom of speech. It also ignores the clear letter and spirit of the law regarding the joint session for Presidential elections. 3 U.S. Code § 15 - Counting electoral votes in Congress clearly provides for raising and debating objections against “all the certificates and papers purporting to be certificates of

Wine legend Fred Franzia — creator of the iconic
“Two Buck Chuck’ blend” — has died. He was 79.
Franzia was a founding partner and CEO of Bronco Wine Company. On Tuesday night, the company’s Facebook page announced his death. “Fred passed early this morning at his Redwood home in Denair, California, with family by his side,” they wrote.
He, along with his brother and cousin, started the company in 1973 with the intent to make wine accessible for daily consumption.
When asked how Bronco Wine Company can sell wine less expensive than a bottle of water, Franzia quipped, “They’re overcharging for the water — don’t you get it?”

Disgraced R&B star R. Kelly was convicted on federal child pornography charges Wednesday for making videos of himself abusing his 14-year-old goddaughter.
The verdict followed a monthlong trial in Chicago, Kelly’s hometown, where jurors were shown excerpts of the disturbing footage and heard testimony from the victim, now 37, who was identified only as “Jane.”
Jurors deliberated for about 11 hours, beginning on Tuesday afternoon, before returning with a guilty verdict on six of the 13 counts that Kelly had faced, including three child porn charges. In Chicago, a conviction on just one such count carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five to 10 years.

The actual purpose of the 1972 law known as Title IX was to prohibit sex-based discrimination in school sports and programs. But now, the radical left is abusing Title IX to impose radical gender theory.
Much has been made of how Joe Biden seeks to redefine “sex” under Title IX to include gender identity. Less attention has been paid to the fact that Biden’s 700-page-long proposed rules changes also include redefining actual pregnancy, the Heritage Foundation found.
“The Biden administration wants to redefine pregnancy to include childbirth, lactation, and ‘termination of pregnancy’—that is, abortion,” explains Melanie Israel of the Daily Signal. “The administration’s three-pronged definition of pregnancy

Green energy is the pipe-dream of coastal elitists, billion-dollar grifters, Big Government idolizers, idle urbanites, and just plain malinformed people who think electricity comes out of the wall.
But one of those coastal elites has finally had enough, saying now that “U.S. energy policy today has to be the arsenal of democracy” and the “engine of economic growth” that will some day make possible a “transition to a low-carbon economy.”
It only took seven months of brutal warfare financed by Russian oil profits made possible by Presidentish Joe Biden’s war on domestic energy production, but Thomas Friedman has joined Donald Trump and Sarah Palin in the “Drill, Baby, Drill!”

Spencer touched on this New York Times analysis yesterday, which I think is quite interesting and speaks to at least some of the points I raised in my pre-Labor Day 'electoral lay of the land' post. Polling errors have not been unusual or infrequent in recent cycles, with most of the misses inflating Democrats' standing, compared to their actual vote share performance when the votes were counted. Some of the more infamous examples in the last few years were Florida's statewide polling in 2018 (both Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis were projected to lose, then both Republicans won), and Maine's 2020 Senate race:
Reminder that *not one*
