Color-Coded Mental Health

Covid lockdowns did no favors to Americans’ mental health, but many psychologists are occupied by other matters. Consider the transformation of the American Psychological Association, which, over the past two years, has committed itself—and the field of psychology along with it—to identity politics. The association’s recently released Racial Equity Action Plan is just the latest installment. The APA’s makeover appears to have accelerated during the riots in the summer of 2020. That June, the APA asked for feedback from its members as to how it might use “the power of psychology” to address the “pandemic of racism.” In April 2021, the APA released its Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Framework,

Be very very careful what you say to your doctor. He or she can write something in your chart that is far from private, and can be used against you by your government. If you are depressed, you are better off discussing it with your clergy.

The clearest example ever of that old saying that people who go into psychology/psychiatry do it to figure out what is wrong with themselves. But they never learn.

Thankfully no, not everyone is the dupe of Davos. As a clinical mental health therapist that can diagnose and treat, my eyes roll way back in my head with this junk. We are boots on the ground with counseling and in the real world. However, I will say a few things. 1. Pastoral counseling is wonderful and needed because sin is at the root of many things and we're in need of a redeeming Lord, BUT another set of eyes is needed for diagnosing and managing mental illness. The wisdom lies in referring them and each plays a significant role. 2. There is a strong stigma against seeking mental health services with the black community for a variety of reasons.

With the Covid lockdowns, our very own government placed millions of Americans living solo into 2 YEARS of solitary confinement. As pathetic as this sounds, I know some people who would drive to nearby parking lots just to get a glimpse of other humans because they had no human interaction. Solo homes were lonely places indeed. Did you know that the UN defines more than 2 WEEKS of solitary confinement as TORTURE? So what many endured was government-sponsored torture. But don't worry about that---instead focus on identity politics? Look! A squirrel!

To quote Sheldon Cooper: "And psychology has once again proved itself the doofus of the sciences." As near as I can tell (hard to figure which groups are being counted in which categories, the population of people with leucistic traits (aka "White") and people with melanistic traits (aka "Black") are each about the same percentage of the world population. This seems right for a proper Bell curve on skin color. Color Brown is "just right." Go Asia! I found a site that breaks down the world population by different aspects (https://media.smallbiztrends.com/2015/01/the-word-as-100-people.gif). For grins, here is a description of a person with the majority aspect in each category (skin color isn't one of them): A Spanish-speaking (first language) male or female Christian between the ages of 15-64 who lives on less than $2.00 (US) in shelter in an Asian urban area with adequate food and safe drinking water, who can read and write, but doesn't have a college degree and has a cell phone, but no Internet access. Hurray for statistics!

After many decades of dismantling racist "Jim Crow" laws all over the country, here are universities and "medical" groups carefully "buiding back better".....SYSTEMIC RACISM. But it's OK, the racism is against whites and asians so that makes it a good kind of racist hate. This is "Good" racial descrimination. This is "Good" hate. /s off This is illegal, and pure evil. It was wrong to discriminate against blacks and put those behaviors into laws and regulations. It is just as wrong to reverse things and discriminate FOR blacks and put those behaviors into laws and regulations. Dems just LOVE to discriminate - they used to hate blacks, now they hate whites. Both are wrong.

So sad that APA is not about using science to help people. Having been in the field for many a decade, I can attest that research in the field of psychology can be used for both good and evil.

President Biden’s speech of this past Thursday evening with all the production trappings outside Independence Hall continues to resonate in my mind. I think the anti-Constitutional gist of it can be summed up in three words: I, the People. Biden’s 32 references to “democracy” reflect not so much a misunderstanding of, but rather a fundamental disagreement with, our constitutional set-up. The constitutional set-up of course establishes a variety of roadblocks to the simple rule of the majority. As Hamilton put it in Federalist No. 9: “The regular distribution of power into distinct departments; the introduction of legislative balances and checks; the institution of courts composed of judges holding their offices

Back in the 90s, at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the establishment media hammered home the proposition that the individual character of a chief executive didn’t matter. He could be a cheerful rogue and serial philanderer like Bill Clinton, but the Left insisted that was a private matter and that the only thing Americans should care about was that he was a competent and capable president (which he wasn’t, but that’s another story). These assertions have become the conventional wisdom since then, but Old Joe Biden is now putting them to the test. On Tuesday, Fox News’ Lisa Boothe enunciated a simple truth that shows

President Biden’s approval rating recently bumped up into the low 40’s. My working theory is that Biden is well served by his time out of the public eye and poorly served by his public appearances and remarks. Biden’s minders in the White House don’t seem to agree with me, however, as they continue to send him on the road to peddle the fabrications, fabulations, and grotesqueries of his Wilkes-Barre remarks, to take only the most recent example. According to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Joe Biden considers Trump supporters an “extreme threat to our democracy.” “President thinks that there is an extremist threat to our democracy,” Jean-Pierre said during Wednesday’s press briefing. “The President has been clear as he can be on that particular piece. When we talk about our democracy, when we talk about our freedoms, the way that he sees it is the MAGA Republicans are the most energized part of the Republican Party. That extreme — this is an extreme threat to our democracy, to our freedom, to our rights.” Later, Jean-Pierre also falsely claimed that MAGA Republicans “just don’t respect

The White House thinks they have struck gold with their attack on “MAGA Republicans” as “semi-fascist” and all the rest. President Biden’s minders in the daycare operation at the White House are wheeling him out for a primetime campaign speech addressing “the soul of the nation” tomorrow night. The speech is to take place outside Independence Hall in Philadelphia. I am following Politico’s story on the speech here. My working theory is that Biden is not a compelling advocate for the Democrats. Dems in competitive races avoid him. He is a lying phony. The theme is sickening. Biden gave it a workout in Wilkes-Barre yesterday.

There is no excuse for advanced economies to experience a shortage of electricity, or of energy generally. The world has more than ample supplies of fossil fuels. And, if you buy the global warming hype, nuclear energy is the obvious alternative, although that implies universal use of electric vehicles that are devastating to the environment. Nevertheless, an electricity crisis is upon us. From the U.K.: “Energy could be rationed ‘for years.'” "Europe faces years of energy rationing without Russian gas, the boss of Shell has warned. June 2002: A white woman named Valinda Elliott accompanied her boss on a business trip through the Arizona desert. When their car broke down and the boss suffered heatstroke, Elliott lit a signal fire to alert a passing helicopter. Unfortunately, the fire grew into a larger blaze. At the same time, at the nearby Apache reservation, an Injun named Leonard Gregg, needing booze money, started a massive wildfire so that, as a volunteer fireman, he could get paid for putting it out. Gregg was arrested, Elliott was not. Gregg’s entire defense, backed by his tribal leaders, was, “if a nonwhite is arrested for starting a fire, a white must be arrested, too.”
