There is no excuse for advanced economies to experience a shortage of electricity, or of energy generally. The world has more than ample supplies of fossil fuels. And, if you buy the global warming hype, nuclear energy is the obvious alternative, although that implies universal use of electric vehicles that are devastating to the environment.
Nevertheless, an electricity crisis is upon us. From the U.K.: “Energy could be rationed ‘for years.'” "Europe faces years of energy rationing without Russian gas, the boss of Shell has warned. Ben van Beurden said it was a “fantasy” to think that Europe’s energy crisis would be resolved soon

Just we wait until next summer when the hydroelectric plants at Lakes Mead and Powell are turned off due to lack of water. The rolling blackout will be something none of us have ever seen.

I read a few places, and believe, the water in Lake Mead and other places around the southwest has been drained into the ocean. These water shortages are man made. Same thing happened when Barack was in office. I sincerely hope that by next summer, this destruction of our country has stopped and we go back to normal.

Stupid, ignorant fools running these countries are now reaping their just deserts. No sympathy from here.

There is no way to support the economies and world populations we have without turning the energy back on. We are going to have many starving people in countries already on the borderline, and standards of living in the West will fall by 25 to 50%. The Build Back Better crowd are fools. Why destroy anything to build it back? It is time for these fools to be confronted.

It’s no coincidence that we all can remember how recently when America was energy and gas independent… thanks to a New York businessman who loves America.

Every hundred years or so, Europeans launch a mission of self-destruction. Doesn't it seem so? WWI and II, like one event, when you think of it. Decades of extravagant loss of life, blood spilled and soaking the earth.
One asinine campaign after another, launched by craven power-mad autocrats, cheered on by toadies eyeing the pots of gold and power.
Now these depraved people are experimenting with starving millions, as they have denied the use of technologies which have fed and improved the lives of millions and millions ... where such technologies are enjoyed by the masses, elsewhere there is one degree of misery or another.
We're inclined to say these megalomaniacs must be stupid! Can't they see how policies are causing so much suffering amongst their own populations? Of course they see. They subscribe to the marxian assertion that the end justifies the means. They really, really do not care about the "motley rabble."
About every hundred years or so, megalomaniacs rise to power, while the millions of their subjects placidly watch the growing strength of the Leader, until any resistance is fruitless
Over and over again. "History repeats itself, first as tragedy..." and then as tragedy again, and again, ad infinitum.

Just wait until an electrical energy plant suddenly erupts in spontaneous combustion and burns to the ground. Just like a recent gas refinery and the hundreds of food processing plants. It is not by accident. These shortages are being created intentionally to push the public into EVs and into fake meat vertical vegetable grow factories and insects as a protein.

Trump gets the last laugh again. Maybe those European leaders should have listened to him instead of laughing at him.

What happened to all those oil wells in the North Sea? Are they still on-line or have those European idiots capped them?

Wind and solar are fantasies. The damned things clutter the landscape everywhere you look and contribute damned near NOTHING to the grid. Expensive as hell, and equally unreliable.
As long as the idiots in charge believe the fantasies of solar and wind, and keep shutting down REAL power like natural gas, oil and coal, and nuclear, we will freeze in the dark, while paying triple or more for the little power that we get.

I saw a video a couple of days ago of Trump speaking at the UN, warning Germany that if they trusted Russia for their energy they would be controlled by Russia. The German UN rep was literally laughing at the claim, on video.
Who is laughing now?

When man and races hate each other, this is what happens. Some would wish to rule over ashes if they must just to hold power. Men think much about themselves when they are still only mortals.
