I’ve got an admission to make, and you may want to sit down for this. I’m ashamed to say that I got fooled by a headline today, not because I thought it was real when it wasn’t, but because I thought it was satire when it was real.
I know what you are thinking, but before you call me a moron, take a look for yourself and tell me this doesn’t look like something from The Babylon Bee. (Tweet) Yes, you read that right. The FBI supposedly found 48 folders that were empty but once held classified information while raiding Donald Trump’s Florida residence. We literally went from “he stole

Do you ever think that the FBI's mantra will be the famous quote from the famous movie star, Bart Simpson:
'I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, there's no way you can prove anything.'

After purging the folders of the incriminating contents, Trump no doubt returned them to their cellophane wrappers and resealed them.
I wouldn’t put it past the devious MAGA threat to our democracy.

Were those Marine uniforms real? Where the wearers of said uniforms real Marines? I'd hate to be a real marine and have to serve a president such as this. Watched "his" speech later. What insanity, garbage and evilness. We are in bad trouble here, folks. Bad.

I'm surprised that they didn't contain that single page piece of government and military redundant nonsense, "This page intentionally left blank."

Trump declassified all documents related to the FBI's Russia probe on Jan 21, 2021 as one of his last acts as POTUS, obviously against the wishes of the FBI. I suspect his copies were the reason for the raid. I also suspect DJT was waiting for the most advantageous political opportunity to release those docs and the FBI and DoJ are desperate to prevent that from happening.

#5, You are exactly right. Especially with word the the ‘Cankled Beast’ may give it another go. Those documents could make her go away forever.

My guess is 45 has multiple copies of the Operation Hurricane papers stashed around the world. He will release them when appropriate. The Hildebeast and BHO should be afraid.

Oh Yes, Of course. Shrewd enough to build a billion+ dollar net worth, but naive enough to steal or destroy top secret documents and keep the folders. I think these pieople are projecting their stupidity.

The documents the FBI carefully laid on the floor to be photographed were in those empty folders

If they can't get him for this, I understand he had a package of blank computer paper near his printer that he could print confidential/secret info on if he wanted!

I worked with classified documents and information for many decades. We had a repository with a safe-like combination lock on it, with only two people in our group having access to the combination. It held classified documents when not in use.
The filing cabinet next to it had a drawer with empty classified folders and classified cover sheets at different classification levels.....NOT secured in any way.
The way it worked is that if I needed to do some calculations or design sketches at my desk that were of a classified nature, I just did it as needed, wrote "Classified"....and the level of classification on the top of the sheet. Then I'd cover it with a blank piece of paper, walk to the cabinet (can't leave a classified document out without a caretaker in visual sight of it) and get a classified folder or cover sheet if it was going to be only a couple of pages. The cover sheet was stapled to the documents once you are done creating them. And if you need to keep them you put them into your folder in the combination safe when not in use. After your need was done, into the "burn barrel" where they would be shredded and then burned.
EMPTY folders are not classified, and must be kept handy by anyone who knows classified information and who may need to make notes or sketches which would then be classified.
The empty folders themselves are MEANINGLESS, like having extra staples, pencils and erasers handy. Just business supplies in an office for classified work.
