Moscow/London - The chairman of Russian oil and gas giant Lukoil has died after falling out of the window of a hospital in Moscow, according to Russian state media.
"The man fell out of the sixth-floor window and died as a result of his injuries," a source told TASS.
Lukoil confirmed the death of its chairman on Thursday in a statement published on its website. Ravil Maganov "passed away following a severe illness," Lukoil said, making no mention of a fall. "Maganov immensely contributed to the development of not only the company, but of the entire Russian oil and gas sector."
Lukoil, Russia's second biggest oil and gas company, made headlines

Phenomenal how so many Russians fall out of upper story windows. It seems up to 5% of the population, and coincidentally, people in disfavor with the regime.

A Russian oil company chief "falls" out of a hospital window and CNN says this with a straight face. It seems opponents of Putin's policies have been having a lot of "accidents" lately. This kind of thing is in store for us here in America if we don't vote out the democrats.

Yes, #5, and his health took a sudden and rapid downturn for the worst, i mean, worse.
Not many improvements to the old Soviet healthcare system. Can't change gravity, either.

This time-honored tradition of assasinating one's political foes in Europe lives on. Those subjected to "defenestration" do not.

His illness left him in no condition to run the company, so he had become a 'liability'.

As the guy passes the 23rd floor window somebody yells "How's it going ?"
He yells back So far, So good."

Poison has to be consumed or somehow administered, and if an enemy of Mah Russia won't cooperate and take the offering, nothing beats thirty-two feet per second squared and no net. Efficacious. It's not the fall that kills Vlad's enemies. It's the end of the fall. Fat cat go splat. Guess he p.'d someone off. Maybe he offered sympathy for Gorbachev, who presided over the death of the USSR, the worst thing that ever happened in Vlad's sick world. Gorby didn't stop the dissolution of the Soviet empire. Vlad would have tried, and would have killed as many as necessary. Where's Lee Harvski, the sharpshooter from Muscovy, and his Mosin-Nagant?

Looks like Vladimir will become the new chairman of Lukoil after his sudden illness that pushed him out of his hospital room window.

The Russian government had previously tried to take over Lukoil by imprisoning the owner. I can't remember what the name of the one imprisoned was, maybe it was a different guy.
They was the government to own everything again, like Putin's beloved USSR. Trying to put Humpty Dumpty together again.
