If you’ve been following the political chatter for the last month or so, one common theme being pushed by the press and data nerd Twitter is the idea of a Democrat “comeback” before the mid-terms. Historically, every headwind is against Joe Biden and his party, but as the story goes, things will be different this time. After all, the Democrats passed the “Inflation Reduction Act” that doesn’t actually reduce inflation, and Democrats have taken some leads on the generic ballot since the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
My response has been different, though. The generic ballot has often understated Republican support in environments

Reducing $5.50 gas to $4.95 doesn't cut it (for example)? You have to be a Democrat to believe that it does.

Was talking with a friend the other day about the drop in gas prices.
I reminded her that if I start beating her with a club and hit her every 5 seconds and them only start beating her with that club every 10 seconds, I'm still beating her with a club.
Was on a road trip this weekend. Saw gas as low as $3.069. And as high as $3.829 on the same trip (about 250 miles).

The only poll that counts is Nov 8, 2022.

The only poll that REALLY counts is the one dems use AFTER election day to figure out how many fraudulent votes they need to add to win.

We in PA are going to take the gloves off and expose the democrats in the next few months. The gas is a temporary reduction. November 9th the cost of gas will go through the roof.

Even if gas has gone down a bit, the price of food!!! My former boss, who is a knee jerk prog can't help but notice the price of food, utilities and medicines has skyrocketed. But, bless her heart, she still can't connect the dots.

FTA: In other words, as I’ve been saying to the doomsayers, you do not panic in August. The closer we get to Halloween, the more things will shake out, and there are zero reasons to believe Democrats are going to defy history with a president whose aggregate approval is at 40 percent.
Except we are still using the corrupt machines and voter roles that stole the election in 2020...

Have enough of Soros-funded Secretary’s of State been fired to honestly tally/count ALL 50-states’ votes?

They have test marketed a couple of new pandemics and hinted at Russia using nukes. Oh, and climate change keeps rearing its ugly head in the form of weather, floods and fires. Whatever else the dems have to throw at us, I wish they would get on with it because November is approaching quickly.

Also pudding brain has been in hiding for almost a month save for his signing of the inflation boosting act. Even with that he looked like a drooling mess at the table. Sooner or later he's going to have to return from quarantine and endless vacations and the public will then be reminded over and over that we have a senile puppet posing as President.

Like a moving goal post gas will be brought down toward $2.50 by Election Day. Only to be jacked up later. Their fundamental intention to use energy prices to achieve total control is now obvious. How many fall for this Charlie Brown /Lucy trick remains to be seen.

PA Oz promoters better get busy. All I am seeing are eye catching ads by Fetterman's people that make fun of Oz. I havent seen one Oz dad that was memorable. Fetterman, really Featherhead, is as liberal as they come plus more. We don't need free drugs and shoot up places.

I'm crediting either Putin, greedy oil companies, greedy oil company execs, greedy distributors or greedy local station owners for the ever so slight fall in gas prices, since the Delaware Dummy said there was nothing in his power he could do to control gas prices!

Here in NC the democrat Senate candidate has been flooding the airwaves with her commercials. She stresses she refuses corporate PAC money but the DNC, NEA, and Soros. A full 55% of contributions are from out of state. She is leading in the polls and the likely winner. This is a state that should be solid. Republican. Our elections are to the highest bidder!

Call me cynical, but I will believe this when I see the charred remains of the party on the floor. While it does appear Republicans are in a good position, the voter fraud is going to be massive. If our turnout can overcome that, then we may have a chance. Democrats are going to try and steal it in November. Why not? They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Plus, what one of them is frightened by our pathetic party? We can’t even control the Rinos who betray us at every turn. Our leadership hates the base and has no stomach for the fight. All they want is that the status quo remains untouched. We are the underdog once again and I am hoping against all odds that we can prevail. God help us if we fail. There will be no fixing what the democrats will break if that happens.

Silicon Valley gas is 4.99 at the cheap stations. Food prices have really gone up. Enough that even most hard core lefties have to notice. When President Trump was in office, gas actually went under 3.00. Which I had not seen in a decade.

Well, the Dems have to do some lying about how well they are doing so it won't be so obvious when they do what they did in the last election in the upcoming election.

How many times between now and the November 2022 election can Joe and Jill Biden test positive for COVID-19? Shall we take bets? Democrats do better when that pair are in the basement somewhere in Delaware.

Last July my electric bill was $118 and this July, $176. Our grocery bill is up by 30%. Can't wait for the home heating season. Print more deficit trillions to support money laundering Ukraine and zero benefit "green" handouts and hyperinflation will continue.
