FTA: "Instead of demonstrating that there is something wrong with Donald Trump she has unwittingly demonstrated that there is something wrong with Liz Cheney." More clearly she has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is nothing "Right" with Liz Cheney! Worthless garbage..Like her Father.

By her actions, Liz Cheney has shown she is mentally unfit to hold office. Her delusional attitude and erratic statements make her unworthy of holding public trust.

The article explains the difference of arguing as a "fight with words" to prove who is stronger vs. a "rational" argument to seek truth. It then shows how Liz is "fighting" with her words. Ipso facto, Liz Cheney is IRRATIONAL. This is clearly TRUE. Further, this examination of purpose can be applied to most of the dem party. The dem party and its purposes are IRRATIONAL. They are using their strength through ownership of the bureaucracy and media to win the fight instead of seeking truth. Note also that arguments can SEEK truth but may not FIND it. Thus Conservatives may err. But if you are dedicated to seeking truth, it is likely you will eventually find some vs. the irrational party whose only purpose is to overwhelm. However, it is insufficient to merely SEEK. After vigorous discussion and arrival at a discovery of a truth, one must FIGHT to implement and preserve that truth. THAT is the difference between a Trump and most of the Republican party who espouse a truth and then gaze at their navels. Further, it is important to determine the IRRATIONAL group's sources of strength and undermine them to fight the lies they produce; another Trump strength.

She committed a common but amateur blunder equating correlation with causation: Trump made a speech, violence happened at the Capitol. For a logician, that is a major problem. She revealed her true nature (mean and duplicitous) and she revealed she is a hateful, vindictive person. What we have all learned is that Trump is the better man.

When I look at Liz Cheney, as an older woman, I see a picture of a woman who is displacing internal anger and unwellness onto Trump and all those who believe in what he does. Mr. O'Reilly only has part of it with Daddy issues. She's in her mid-50s, and that is a dangerous age for women mentally and physically. Your hormones are going wacky-dacky, physically you are changing, you're haunted with the impending loss of your parents. Maybe her marriage and kids (I've read she has 5!) aren't in good shape. (I noted that her concession in WY did not have hubby and kids with her). Maybe she is crying for her husband's attention. And her career has now run into a brick wall--can she even show her face in WY? I agree with the writer--she is not rational anymore and her witch hunt may destroy the country. The anger comes from way deep and Trump (and us) are convenient targets. But as to her personally, she keeps on this track, she will implode in some spectacular way. Let me put it to you this way--if she came bursting out of the closet with a girlfriend, it wouldn't surprise me, because I've seen it happen. The best her family could do for her is an intervention, to get her emotional and physical help, like a retreat to get herself mentally and physically well, but I doubt she sees it that way.

In my debate classes in College, back when it was knowledge we were after, not indoctrination, the proffesor would pick the most divisive debate topics of the day and then he would pick the debate teams. He knew his students, if the debate were about some aspect of feminism, the most virulent feminists would be put on the against team and the most ardent traditionalists would end up defending the feminist position. THe reason was clear, you must be able to intimatey understand the oppositions ideas and positions in order to mount any kind of effective argument against them. It was an emotionally draining and frustrating class, being always forced to defend against positions you actually really believe in. But it was an important lesson, because in almost any debate both sides have valid arguments and that elusive truth is not the property of either side. It also taught that you ignore the oppositions position at your own peril. Every opposing side has valid arguments, and if you don't know them you will spend all your time reacting to the patent nonsense only to be blidsided by an argument you cannot neutralize without resorting to logical fallacies like ad hominem or refer to authority or whatever. I have always remembered this class and what I see in todays debates is pure garbage. I have argued for years that conservatives have a much stronger position in any debate with a liberal, not because we are always right but because almost any conservative can rattle off most of the liberal and progressive arguments without thinking. Liberals rarely understand anything about the conservative position, only that it is categorically wrong and all the experts agree. This is not because conservatives are any smarter or more logical than the left, some of our arguments are every bit as ridiculous and emotional as the lefts. It is because we are marinated in a constant drumbeat of the leftists arguments, 24 hours a day on every mainstream and cultural source of information or entertainment. Most conservatives could easily argue the lefts side (whether we believed it or not), because it is everywhere. The left can happily live their entire lives never once being exposed to a conservative viewpoint, they have absolutely no clue what we are talking about and not a single one could ever debate from the right side. This is why we are called stupid, irredeemable and all the rest. They simply cannot understand how anyone could think outside of the very narrow ideological window they are so completely marinated in.

Too many people, including Liz Cheney, and conservatives insist on referring to the goings on at the Capitol on Jan.6 as a riot or insurrection. It was NOT either!!! And.....the only violence committed then was by a capitol police officer who killed Ashley Babbitt in cold blood and some others who beat a woman to death in a tunnel. No one has been charged in either case and there are still people sitting in a DC jail being denied bail or proper legal representation. Liz Cheney clearly cares not one iota about what really happened and about the Jan 6 political prisoners!

The recent clandestine FBI raid on the home of President Donald Trump leaves little doubt that America indeed is in the midst of a second civil war. The war thus far is a non-shooting war with multiple "fronts" of attack waged and supported by both domestic and foreign enemies. If they are successful, they will have effectively nullified America's constitutional republic and negated most, if not all, of Americans' cherished constitutional rights and freedoms. This civil war is being waged successfully against the American republic by multiple organizations and numerous powerful, very wealthy people

No doubt still sulking over the Roe v. Wade reversal — the opening sentence of their recent op-ed published in The New York Times is, “When liberals lose at the Supreme Court — as they increasingly have over the past half-century” — two Ivy League professors laid out their claims for an America without Constitutional limitations. They suggest, “the way to seek real freedom will be to use procedures consistent with popular rule.” Of course, the piece is polished sewage: tyranny of the majority is a very real, and very dangerous threat to the individual, (perhaps they should go read Federalist 10, but they likely wouldn’t understand that either).

Elites have always been ambiguous about the muscular classes who replace their tires, paint their homes, and cook their food. And the masses who tend to them likewise have been ambivalent about those who hire them: appreciative of the work and pay, but also either a bit envious of those with seemingly unlimited resources or turned off by perceived superciliousness arising from their status and affluence. Yet the divide has grown far wider in the 21st century. Globalization fueled the separation in a number of ways. One, outsourcing and offshoring eroded the rust-belt interior, while enriching the two coasts. The former lost good-paying jobs, while the latter found new markets

Many have been held in horrible prison conditions for over a year, denied bail and an opportunity to have their cases heard outside this venue where the jurors will never grant them a fair trial. None of the big law firms in town which puff up their public service donating time -- for example, to defend Guantanamo Bay detainees -- have to my knowledge volunteered to help these people.

It's a move that House Republicans should consider when they regain the majority in November, but will they do it? In the aftermath of the unlawful August 8 raid on Mar-a-Lago, the Republican Party has been united in its revulsion of what appears to be an unprecedented ransacking of a former president’s home.
